Ellis Courtlandt

As much as she loved being snuggled up in bed with him, she knew that both of them had to eat something at some point today. Plus she also just loved cooking for him when she could. She wasn’t the best cook she would say. But she tried. Anything she had learned about cooking was from her Sister. So she had some skills at least. “I am offering. I was thinking maybe making you some eggs toast and bacon? I ventured out yesterday and did a little shopping. I don’t wanna eat out too much while we’re here.” Eating out with something she did a lotWhen they were traveling. She was always very adventurous with eating enough to try anything new. “I was going to make myself one of my famous breakfast smoothies.” It was something she ate even when traveling. She was not much of a breakfast person. So nice filling smoothie was always a better option for her. “What are you in the mood for?”

Carina wasn’t exactly sure what she had been doing in the cemetery, it was as if something had been calling out to her, but she wasn’t exactly sure what. She knew she should have been afraid of the vampire standing in front of her, but for some reason, she felt safer and she wasn’t sure why. “I didn’t know this cemetery belonged to you.” she said, a bit harsher than she meant it to.

“I know.” Peyton with the heavy side as she settled back into bed beside him. It was weird for her to stay in one place and have been in one place for more than two weeks now. Back in their time she was constantly moving or traveling for her job. Maybe it was her way of saying she wishes things were back to normal without saying it out loud. “How about I make us some breakfast in bed and we just stay here maybe watch a movie or something?” It would be nice to just relax for a day. Just the two of them without any of her family or chaos that has been going on since either them have gotten there.

It probably wasn’t the right move, stepping in on her son’s fight. Nobody wants their mother fighting their battles for them, being supernatural or otherwise. 

But Lenore was overprotective, to say the least. Ellis was strong, powerful. Being half witch half vampire definitely had it’s perks. She had nothing but faith in him that he could rip this riff raff bloodsucker in half with ease, but after what he’d been through, after what they’d been through? Why risk it.

“I’d listen to him.” Lenore stepped out from her shadowy perch, doing her best to stay in the backseat on this, nodding at Ellis subtly before staring down their enemy once again. Her presence had been made apparent. If this pathetic creature continued to antagonize, it was over his pile of ashes.

Even after being attacked Ellis didn't have any fear when it came to vampires.  He had no trouble standing up to one that seemed to think it was all powerful.  In his eyes the vampire in front of him wasn't worth the amount of time already spent on it.  

This issue didn't normally come up in this cemetery in the future.  His mother might be known but as an adult he wasn't.  He was about to say more when Lenore came out of the shadows.  He turned his head slightly to look over at the older vampire.

It seemed in the presence of the queen the vampire got the message.  The vampire took a step back then shifted into a bat.  "You didn't have to get involved.  There was only the one," even if there was more than one he felt like he would be able to handle it.

“Oh,” she wasn’t sure why she was surprised by it; They nymph knew there were decent vampires around, however she was only knew those who claimed to feed only on blood bags and not humans. “Do you ask them first or do you go all Jack the reaper on them?…I’m not scared by the way…”   She gulped. “Just curious. Am I being rude?”

"Excuse me?" Ellis wasn't used to be asked questions about how he did or didn't feed.  Although he couldn't say most knew he was a vampire.  It wasn't as if they were a popular species in the magical community.

“I do know that.” Peyton said laying her head back on his chest now. She had propped it up slightly at her previous comments. “I’m just saying that we should just stay here for a couple days. This is really nice. I don’t think I realized how much I missed you. That was the longest we’ve ever been apart wasn’t it?”Back in their own time that you were inseparable. They always spent time together traveling for her job. That was one thing they really have in common with their love to travel and for adventure. “We should do something fun and crazy. We go somewhere we haven’t gone yet. then we go back to our time we can go again and see how different it is.”

“It’s not my ideal anything.” Posy shrugged a smile still hanging on her lips. “I just wish I knew why I got dragged here anyway.” She remained silent for a moment, biting her lips. “Can I ask you something personal?” without really waiting for his consent, she went ahead and opened her mouth. “Do you feed on people?…” the tactless nymph gestured two fingers as if they were her fangs, to dramatize her question. 

"Probably to change something," it was either that or to learn something.  Although the only thing he's learned so far is that being without powers sucks.  He could have assumed that without having to experience it.

He laughed when she didn't wait for him to answer if it was okay to ask it.  "I do," he wasn't ashamed to admit that.  He was a vampire.  "Not often.  I don't need blood the same way a full vampires does."  He still needed it occasionally to survive but could go longer without it.  It wasn’t something he had to answer before.

Piper didn’t recognize the man and with a new Source around, she didn’t know who to trust. She squinted her eyes at him. 

“And who are you, again?” She asked, raising her hands slightly. If his answer wasn’t good enough, Piper was prepared to blast his ass away.

“I say we take the fight to her.” Talia stomped her foot again. “But we’d have to be smart about it.” She wasn’t exactly the type to be passive when demons were threatening her friends. The people she considered family. 

“You’re the vamp boyfriend, right?” She thought she recognized Parker’s little sister’s significant other. “You can help.” She suggested with a shrug.

"We can't just jump into the offensive," Ellis said looking over to Talia.  "We just got to the past.  This is probably something she's been planning for a while."  They needed to get up to speed before they tried to do anything.  Otherwise they wouldn't be as lucky as they were with this first strike.

“Nah, man. You gotta trust me. This is the best place for a burger and a shake.” Theo told him, shaking his head with a laugh. The only thing the pair had in common was that they were both dating Halliwells. But that meant they could understand each other’s frustrations.

“Look, you know I’m not usually one to spew my guts but this fight with Mel is only getting worse. We just can’t seem to compromise at all.” His head dipped down, staring into his own drink. 

Ellis was going to trust him on this place being the best.  He was still skeptical about that.  Although it had taken him a while to find his favorite place in the future.  It was his easy date place with Peyton because he knew they would always have a good time there.

“Ugh.” She groaned. “Then what’re you still doing in my face?” Pregnancy hormones had made her way more testier than usual.

Ellis couldn't really answer that either.  The was a brief tilt of his head as he continued to head to the fridge.  He was going to continue about his business to try not to piss of the pregnant charmed one.  In his opinion it was better to be safe than sorry and he figured anything else he had to say wouldn’t make the situation better.

“I just said you’re not allowed to get up and I am the boss.” Peyton said she playfully hit his chest with her hand I had been laying over his body. “You know the rules do as I say not as I do. That still applies to 2007 you now?” Honestly, even if her phone was to go off and they were to be called for some reason it would take a lot to get her out of bed. This is the most relaxed she felt in over two weeks. It was the most normal she felt in two weeks. “I mean I’m with you. I thought we stay here forever.”

“Yes, well nobody said that all demons were smart,” she stated with a laugh. “Some just want power that bad that they don’t actually use their heads and realize that the power isn’t worth the risk especially knowing how many have tried before them and failed.” 

"You don't have to tell me that but she doesn't seem like that kind of demon," He knew that he was setting the bar high for whoever this Lilith was.  Still after what just happened it didn't seem like she was lacking in that department.

“Well, I don’t plan I’m moving unless my sisters call saying they need us.” Peyton wrapped both of her arms around his body now. Trying to make sure that he also was not able to get up. When they were alone like this she was always very playful and cheeky. “ And I plan on making it so that you can also Not get up unless I say so.” There was a little bit of a demand in her voice as she said this playfully. If there was one thing she had characterized for her it was being slightly bossy. But that came with being the youngest child.
