So imagine Ansel had an Ansolo concert one night. You fall asleep in yours and Ansel’s bed alone at around midnight. At around 2am, you start to stir, and open your eyes seeing Ansel looking at you from the foot of your bed and unbuttoning his shirt. He crawls into bed with you, his hair all matted from his sweat. You push his hair out of his face as he leans down and kisses you. He whispers in your ear in that beautiful, deep voice of his, “I missed you.” You wrap your arms around Ansel’s bare torso and you both fall asleep in each other’s arms.

And this was it. This was the great and terrible 10. 

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH - And yet I still cried…

My dad was waiting for us in baggage claim, standing amid all the limo drivers in suits holding signs printed with the last names of their passengers: JOHNSON, BARRINGTON, CARMICHAEL. Dad had a sign of his own. My BEAUTIFUL FAMILY, it read, and then underneath that (AND GUS)
