misha is truly a sports anime protagonist. he hated skating at first, but continued pursuing it. he was inspired by denis ten who was tragically murdered. his parents didn't have enough money to pay for his training, so his coach paid for him for a long time. he had to skate during public sessions. he didn't receive support from his fed. yet he was second at jwc. he won 4cc. he qualified for gpf. he was successful but always in the shadow of someone else. he had a terrible 25/26 season. his free skate meant a lot to him but was clowned on by pretty much everyone. and despite all that he becomes the olympic champion and wins the first ogm for his country in figure skating.

we're now on season 2 where his federation decides to hate him for whatever reason and tries to minimize his resources at all costs while also expecting a medal at the next olympics
