the whole regina thing couldve worked if it didnt get as deep as it did. regina knowing about everything and louis going out of his way to research her life and regina literally getting hired to play claudia was way too far. its no longer haunting and tragic. its just fucking uncomfortable for no reason. louis maybe going to the diner a few times, he projects this idea of claudia onto her but keeps it to himself, maybe they build up a friendly rapport. but then one day theyre chatting about reginas hopes and dreams for the future, and shes like "cant wait for the day i dont have to wear this uniform anymore. cant stand yellow." and it just. snaps louis out of it. cause claudia didnt hate yellow. and louis looks up at regina and shes not claudia. it cuts to regina as a completely different actress, who maybe looks a little bit like delainey but its very much Not Claudia. and louis just bolts out of there. and thats it.
