Besides Ausp_ice's fics what would you are your favorite aether fics? Shipping optional but highly apperciated
eehhhhhh hard to say. A large part of the reason I write the kind of fics I do is because comparatively few people (who also have a solid writing style ^^;) care to write about Aether as his own character in a prominent role. If you're asking for Aether-centric ship fic, I'm sure you're already aware of this. Burned Out by pearlweb is sweet, but very short and only platonic. a five star buffet has some interesting concepts, but it is VERY horn knee, centers both Aether and Lumine as one entity, and isn't especially... romantic? I suppose it depends on your definition. I enjoyed Belongingness by Yellow_Canna, but the writing might be a dealbreaker, depending on your standards.
Honestly, the best one-stop source for Aether-centric slash that I know of is my own damn self, so... finish my catalogue if you haven't already? Lmao

I'm starting to think it's just one of yall constantly keeping me on my toes with the anon posts, I'm beginning to notice a pattern... *squint*
1: Of course I've recommended the author Ausp_ice before and I'll recommend them again, though their works center a kind of agape(???) love, rather than romance. Lately, I've also been in love with Aquarium Man by carolyncaves [Genshin], (without him) i'm going to sink by intimatopia [Genshin], We Are Not Wise by Boomchick and Suzoomie [SVSSS], and Feed Me, Lawrence by scrawly_times [Bloodborne]. I think those cover a decent range of fic lengths and ratings, and encompass a lot of the tropes and romance elements I find compelling!
2: My favorite ships tend to change a little with the times, but I love Xiaother (of course), Law and Order (Wriolette), and Aether/pretty much any guy (lol). In terms of rare pairs, or ships that I like in concept but very rarely see written the way I would like, Ayato/Thoma, Diluc/Zhongli, Zhongli/Neuvillette, Albedo/Tighnari, Ororon/Ifa (one day i will write over the ten thousand travesties of Natlan), and Wanderer/Sethos all tickle my brain. But honestly, I'll eat up most pairs if you show me a convincing enough fan art of them lol. If only I could write faster and cover them all... TT

If it helps, feel free to take as many creative liberties as needed with the story, something like altering or skipping Natlan, messing with Celestia or the Shades, whatever helps it work out for you. Hiraeth is already a story built on rewriting the elements in such a fun way! Please continue having fun with it <3

I'm gonna have to say no, just because i KNOW one of yall is going to ask for Hiraeth, and I'm not ready for that lol. Six for Gold and Mareel, meanwhile, are already being written pretty much as fast as they will go, so no point in trying to advance those. Maybe I can add that option to my auction next year (or make other opportunities), but for now, I think I'm going to stick to just one brand new story!
