My homebrew batch of "Royal Ancestral Blöd" mead is ready! Tart cherries and apple cider (making it a Viking Blöd Ciser) with 5lbs of honey (Making it "Royal") and champagne yeast lfor optimal alcohol and just the right bitterness) set up LAST Samhain, allowed to ferment, age, and settle for an entire cycle of the year, and delicious today. It has a very complex flavor that i wasn't expecting. Watch how quickly my friends start showing up to hang out now. Lol making a pumpkin spice mead for next year. The wife and I are officially old. We picked out our optimal Samhain pumpkins based on SOUP specifications instead of Jack-o-lanterns. Amazing soup will be made in/of these pumpkins and NONE will go to waste.
