Christopher didn’t see how the boy could suddenly appear in front of him, but he jumped backwards immediately - partly out of fear and mostly of pure shock. “I..I….” Christopher stammered, unable to form a cohesive thought. “I d-d-don’t..k-know..”

Wyatt sighed, snapping his fingers, making the entire illusion disappear. “Useless. Completely and utterly useless you are. When you figure out what you fear - besides faces suddenly appearing in front of you, you tell me, alright kid?” 

Khamisi beamed, “Of course! How have you been keeping? Well, i hope?”

“I’m fantastic.” He spat out, his eyes narrowing at the boy. “Why are you so happy all the time? Do you drink sunshine in the morning or something?” 

“Cyanide, I’m afraid you have only seconds to live. Any last words?” 

Wyatt! It’s good to see you again!

Wyatt groaned, wondering what on Earth he had done to see this boy again. “Is it, though? Is it good to see me again?” 

[ Dexter eyes the boy. ] Right.. I’m fine, thanks for your concern. I have, last week just not your sister, I have standards. What are you doing here, Wyatt?

Okay but my sister is the exception to every standard - just ask every guy she’s ever slept with. [she shrugs] I dunno, I just was in the neighborhood and wanted to say hello to my favorite brooding monster. 

Nikita had not expected Wyatt to grab her wrist and place her hand back on his forehead and was grateful that he had removed his hand from around her wrist before her body could react. As she looked down at him, she saw as the area around her wrist frost over for a couple of seconds before the frost slowly faded away. She couldn’t help the sigh of relief she let out afterwards. Still, the warmth underneath her hand was uncomfortable but she knew her brother needed her and, for once, her power was actually helping somebody. With a nod, Nikita sat on the edge of the bed next to him. She was nervous to do what she was about to do next but she knew that to help him and she had to find a happy medium without hurting him. If she was going keep her hand on him, she had to make herself colder. If not, she was going to get the point where she couldn’t tolerate the warmth anymore and have to move. Taking a deep breath, she focused all her energy on the temperature and aura surrounding her hand. Suddenly, the warmth that she felt burning up her hand became cooler and tolerable enough for her to keep her hand on her brother’s forehead for the time being. “I really do hope this helps,” she said to him, a small smile on her face as she looked down at him. “I hope it’s not too cold for you. If it just-… just tell me, okay?”

The coolness in the air was extremely comforting and something that he needed very much in order to feel calm and less sick. He looked up at her, feeling slightly more sick before rolling away from her and her hand. “Can you go get me some medicine?” He asked, another horrible coughing fit overtaking him. He cringed, noting how dreadful he sounded and felt. “Be-before you go, can you get a cloth please? To put on my head?” He hated sounded and looking this pathetic, but Wyatt really had no other choice at this point. He didn’t want to bother Olga because she’d go into full on mom-mode, and he wasn’t sure if Roxie knew how to take care of sick people, so he was forced to contact his sister. “So?” He asked, a slight edge in his voice as he turned to look at her.
