Lilith smiled as she sat outside in the courtyard. She had her father on the webcam and she was laying on her stomach, wearing a pair of jeans and one of her long sleeve shirts, probably the most modest outfit she had on. “It’s great here. The people are nice and welcoming, the parties are fun, and some people are actually scary so they remind me of home.” She joked, brushing her hair back behind her ear. Her dad smiled and talked to her, telling her about how everything was going with the factory when her mother came on, telling him he had stuff to do. Lilith frowned, not having talked to her dad in awhile cause he was always busy. 

‘Sorry Lilith but me and your father have to go. Busy day and all that. Goodbye dear.’ 'Bye lil monster! Love you!’ She heard her father shout right before it cut out. “Love you too dad.” She sighed, shaking her head and shutting her laptop. She heard a cough behind her and she turned from her spot on the grass. “What do you want?” She asked, though there was no angry tone to it, just sadness.

Ruby understood what he meant completely. She shook her head, “Nothing.. not even socks.” she said, making a face. 

with a laugh, eulalia said, “yeah, of course. if it was the other way around, you so would only get that out of the conversation. don’t even lie.” she grinned at his correction. she shrugged, though she’d remember to store such a word in the back of her mind. “twenty?? easy money,” she harrumphed before getting up from her seat. she walked over and took a dart out of the corkboard. “how about i raise you to forty?? think you got the money, will??” her eyes, dangerously amused, glanced over to the drunkard who looked back at her just as she aimed the dart at him. “oops, change of plans, heh–” she started with a laugh as the drunkard stomped over towards the two.

william snorted, not denying it. smirking a bit, knowing fully well he was earning that cash, he turned in his seat, watching eulalia retrieve a dart. “sure --- i’ll get it from somewhere,” he replied, figuring he’d come up with something --- with the mood eulalia was currently in, he wasn’t about to say otherwise. he watched her raise it to his head, reaching for his drink. william didn’t skip a beat when the drunkard got up, giving him a little wave as the man walked over; the clayton took a sip of his drink.

“Just a uh… Just a piece of a short story for my writing class.” She murmured, looking down. They had to write a short story of a genre of their choosing. “It’s not that good.”

cameron snorted, nodding slightly. “alright. sorry.” he said, sighing.

“thanks,” he said simply, taking a seat and pulling out his phone; scrolling through it for a few seconds, thuroughly bored, he sighed before asking: 

*sighs* i miss ‘em but at the same time … they have bOTH grown sm and i’m so happy about it ! and yes william is the shithead™ but tanks okay this means a lot !

*screeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaams* into the abyss okay like i honestly hadn’t intended for him to be nice but then like all the plotting and cHARACTERIZATION and backstory and the whole fcking eVERETT thing ( *cries* it was gonna be him and florrie oh how things end up ) and like yeaah that was funny lmao but like yeah he honestly is ?? i am surprised ?? and idek if it’s bc he’s strong or he’s just used to it ?? but it’s probs the former ?? and yeah he is a definite dICKEAD but he also has his moments and just asdfghjkl i just reiterated what you said i’m crying but tanks i’m still criying kay byeeee

Cameron was writing away into a notebook, when a shadow fell across him. “I wouldn’t look if I were you, I’m doing something illegal and you should have deniability.”

“Am I the only one who saw some lunatic run outside without his clothes on last night?” Ruby asked, quite clearly disgusted by what she had seen. 

eulalia, for a moment or two, could only look at william. her expression was somewhere in between amused and wanting to drive an ax through his shoulder. “did you just admit that i was hot??” she said as he finished joking around. “i think you just admitted i was hot. coming from your gay ass, i’m loving the compliment.” she snickered as she took another sip from her flask. “fucking loser, that’s what he is. should we play darts and use the back of his bald head as a target board?? i really want to. i’ll put money on the table to see who could get closest to the stupid birthmark near his right ear.”

Hearing the familiar voice, Garrett looked up from his phone before nodding slowly, not really knowing how to talk to the boy anymore. “Yeah. I had a modeling gig on the beach.”
