A: Chances are I’m too busy to start taking requests- I will make a post if I'm open for them, though! I’ll also post about opening commissions whenever those are available.

About the first year overblot, Crowley says overblot I'd buikt up from overuse of magic and negative emotions, anger, saddnes, and jealousy
Its not locked on needed trauma and a horrible Backstory, to be fair, Vil life is great by those definitions, how is his jelousand anger towards Neige any different from Sebek anger to being half humana in rejecting that part of his life?
Ace is a walking insecure teen that feels like hes alone and has to built up walls and fake who he is, like, Azul or even Leona
Maybe Jack expericed discrimination that none know of because we have seen how even the other boys treat Beastmen, its not hard that a small village like Jacks home wouldn't maybe have older people or people who see Beastman as lesser
Epel bullying and misogyny mindset is a great reason to start an overblot, Azul overblotted due to his bullying and insecurities.
Deuce hold himself to an impossible standard, treating himself as some villain for making a mistake as a child, like Riddle, he works harder then anyone amd still struggles, that would anger and make anyone upset.
They don't need depressing lives to overblot, and aslo the furst years are 16, teens react extremely to things as they are growing and changing and aren't fully mature, they would react much more heavily then 18 year olds (excluding Riddle, Jamil, and Azul as they are 17) and also Leona is 20.
Very true!!! God knows I’ve had my fair share of experiences of Completely Losing It Over Shit (lo and behold if you’re stressed out enough even the dumbest shit can send you spiraling. Who would’ve thought!) so!! Given how these guys are I think it’s reasonable to expect LOL.
Plus hey at least some of the main freshmen crew seems to be working thru stuff in a less blotful manner HFHFHFHHF but who knows!

Yeah, this is why I don't really believe that the first years will likely overblot even when some have miserable childhood. Like I don't compare which traumatic backstory but the first years at least have a decent background. Ace is basically like any normal teenage boy, Jack has a happy background, and Epel lives well in his hometown even with the bullying. Sebek probably suffer from seen as a half-fae but he still has a good childhood with Silver and is consider being youngest in his area. For Deuce, he might his delinquent background but he does seem to have fun until he witness his mother that he wanted to change.
The second years are like mixed who is likely to overblot or not, the third years being the same.
Fair enough!! That’s kinda why I limited it to just Sebek- I feel like most of the others are doing pretty well all things considered? Plus whatever issues they have are seemingly being handled in a more conducive way LOL.
+ on the Sebek note- it’s definitely a situation where he’s a 2nd year by that point anyway LOL. Like I said, I’m sure you can train to the level where OBing is possible (just going off of some of the b6 info), and I think there’s enough potential stressors to push him over the edge.
I’ll probably get more into the details surrounding the Diasomnia OB duo once I design em in full though :3c
Riddle and Idia are red-face buddies like in the timeskip they just "Well you got very angry that time your face was all red" and Idia is like "wait rly???" (I doubt he would notice that his face was red he was fighting with the others)

Oh true! Maybe it had to do w/ the overblot state??? Vil’s magic was drained, wasn’t it?? So maybe it kinda absorbed the energy from Idia’s overblot rather than draining his actual magic reserves…
Plus considering what happened with Riddle, the spears probably played a role as well!
Does vil need to preen his feathers? Ik he doesn’t have a ton but still! Also does malleus shed?? Since he IS a reptile…do dragons shed?? Do they need to??
I think so!! Also I totally 100% believe in dragon shed- though it’s probably more similar to how crocodiles shed rather than how snakes do (so alas, no huge shed skin replica of Mally)
There's the thought that OG Ortho didn't die immediately. Trapped beyond the gate to Tartarus/The Underworld, he resorted to drinking Liquid Blot from the Phantoms for hydration but it couldn't provide the calories or nutrients needed to survive. Thus, he slowly starved to death.
So Phantom Ortho having all those inkbottles could be the Phantoms that he drank from.

As for your question- it’s definitely complicated? On one hand, Kalim would love to go back to being friends with Jamil… but on the other he’s definitely… hesitant? for lack of a better term? I mean by the time he ran away he’d finally had enough of Jamil’s behavior & his enforcement of the hierarchy, so when Jamil shows up (essentially under orders) to drag him back to that same cycle he’s… not exactly thrilled. Like… “oh you just came to see me because you Had to not because you Wanted to :/ okay”
Eventually though I think it gets through to him and Jamil’s able to finally free himself as well 👍 and Then! They can work on restoring their friendship :3
