A: Chances are I’m too busy to start taking requests- I will make a post if I'm open for them, though! I’ll also post about opening commissions whenever those are available.

he keeps his tail out as well! it helps a bit with the balance issues that he'd get from losing a good chunk of his horn
speaking of the horn- i gave him a lil decorative prosthetic one in the icon i made for him! it's not really "functional" per se (it doesn't help w/ the magic channeling or anything) but it does help him out with the lopsidedness lol
wayyy more visible scales! half his face is covered + i've yet to figure out the exact patterning but I'm sure his limbs also have plenty of scales as well

DELIGHTFUL information to learn especially considering I spent like half of my time fighting thru the gauntlet that is book 6 joking that (a completely normal sized) Kalim was stuck in a (also completely normal sized) glue trap while Jamil was away
Man I love how you wrote the Viper siblings like how Jamil looks so vulnerable while Najma is frightened on what happened. You really depict the Viper siblings well.
I always find that out of everyone in Jamil's life, Najma is the one that Jamil finds the closest the most. Like Jamil doesn't have to hide much from his true personality and can be himself. While he can annoyed by her, he at least cared and loves her. The same way Najma cares about Jamil the most. Like in Jamil hometown event, you can see both of them care about each other.
YEAH.... i like how she's actually concerned about his wellbeing in that event BUT still teases his plenty.. its such a good lil dynamic wahhhhh.... also the fact she went out of her way to voice her concerns but he went and overblotted anyway is so. AUGH. I can't help but worry about what was running through her mind after that :(((

I had to share this with somebody but the thought wouldn't leave me: traits of Overblot leaving physical marks, right? Kalim's white hair and bright red eyes being a sign of his during one of his kidnapping attempts and they did something experimental to save him, but it cost him a portion of his magic. It's that that his UM requires 'only a little' magic, but that he can't give anymore due to his reserves being practically non-existent.

Timeskip AU:
He's still working at Styx, though this time he's a little less lonely I feel :) plenty of NRC buddies get to drop by, plus I'm sure Malleus in particular still spends a good chunk of time there even after his internship (given the whole. walking disaster thing.)
I also wonder if maybe he might be given the go-ahead to go out and do blot research in the field? He did want to go on adventures growing up, so maybe having the chance for field research would be beneficial (+ I'm sure Ortho would love to tag along!)
to be entirely honest I can't see rook or jade (and Floyd kinda, but jade mostly) getting Actually worked up about something enough to overblot. theyr like. plot devices to me. they show up to make fun of others as a punchline I guess? that said im so curious how a overblot rook would go and why. its gotta be vil (or neige ig)'s fault right

Chasing Kalim’s trail nonstop, mostly. Lots of blaming himself for letting something like that happen on his watch & assuming the absolute worst outcomes for himself (+ potentially his family as well) if he fails. Worth noting though initially all his concern is focused solely on himself- he mostly feels a sort of exasperation towards Kalim? Like “ugh why’d he have to do that” rather than any concern about his wellbeing OR consideration that Perhaps, Just Maybe, this Might be his fault.
(The longer the chase goes on the more his feelings shift though.)
