I just went for a walk while it was sprinkling, without a raincoat, listening to music without headphones. Just dancing and getting my hair all frizzy. Getting weird looks from neighbors. Visiting the creek by my house and talking to myself about how bad It smells. Talking to squirrels. Running around a cul-de-sac while the guitar riff in Wuthering Heights by Kate Bush played from my back pocket. The feeling of my rainboots hitting my shins through my tucked-in jeans. Hitting tree branches just so the water droplets would get my hair wet. Using the curbs as balance beams.

It was the most fun I've had in a long time.
