If you want a clear indication that the Teen Wolf movie was nothing more than a cynical, desperate ploy from a failing subscription service to try and drum up their numbers, look no further than the fact that they tried to use their most iconic villain without the actor that made that villain iconic. The Nogitsune wasn't incredible in a vacuum, it was incredible because Dylan O'Brien made it incredible. He turned in the most chilling, spine-tingling performance of the entire show, resulting in a bad guy who was truly frightening in a way that none of the other camp-horror villains ever managed to be. And they really thought they could just bring that back without him. That they could just slap some dude in some bandages and bad CG and call it a day.
