Humanity has died out, succumbing to an event known as The Reckoning.

All that remains are the machines they made, left to survive for themselves. Abandoning all hope these machines retreat underground, building an empire from the ground up, known as The Pit. A sprawling city separated into four layers, miles underground.

You, are one of these machines. Left with no purpose, no rhyme or reason. What's left for you? Nothing, at least, not up there.

Down here, possibility is endless. Become a well respected member of society, an illegal street racer, a baker, a scavenger, anything. However, you must. be careful. The lower you go the less rules in place. Descend down into a hive of treachery and villainy unlike no other.

The scrapyard is now off limits, a unknown rage inducing, corrosive disease riddling every piece of rusted, twisted metal in the area. You aren't safe, none of you are.

In an attempt to combat this disease, Libinthina Corp has built The Gerris Blacksite in the heart of Layer Three, a militarized fortress running experiments on how cure this disease.
