The pair work with precious metals but also push the traditional limits of what is precious by working with brass, wood and plexi-glass.

On July 4 at W Paris - Opéra French agency Burnin' Music celebrated its first birthday with DJ sets from Civilian, Zimmer and Himan. Flame throwing in the bar and a full terrace on a hot evening were guests took to the floor and the champagne flowed. Happy birthday Burnin' Music!

Over the course of eight events, the city’s finest and most credible record labels will battle to highlight why they are the ultimate (musical) Gang of New York. There will be no cover charge to any of the events.

Hedi Slimane, new creative director of Saint Laurent Paris, continued his controversial odyssey into menswear by presenting a show that featured a street-cast collection of models, most of them from bands. Watch the video HERE. The look is pure rock’n’roll but as it’s worn by today as opposed to being a sartorial ode to any era. Slimane’s vision proposes a complete wardrobe that includes sharp tailoring inspired by vintage suits and rockabilly overcoats.
