Anthara

St. Cuthbert, the Supreme Judge, judge of judges, His word can call all gods for a council in the Pantheon, he opens and closes those sessions. His word is pure law and nothing that he says can be broken. 

He has the Divine Staff, the object created to grant divinity to other creatures. When the First Pact was accepted, it was decided that there would not be more divinities, unless ALL gods were in agreement and St. Cuthbert would make sure to accomplish the new law at any cost.

Pelor, god of life, good and goodness. Mainly revered by humans, he is indisputably one of the two more powerful gods of Anthara, beside to Nerull. They both made a deal to create the human race: early death but intense life; prudence but audacity, an evil or kindly heart... this is the reason why humans are the most ambivalent race in Anthara.

Anyone with a kindly heart could get his blessing. A lot of mortals imbued with his power walk through Anthara preaching his message of respect, love and forgiveness to everyone.

He is a pacifist god who represents everything good that an individual must have. No one with his blessing can kill, deceive, lie or any other bad act at any cost, he will remove all the divine power from anyone who does. His wisdom word is always heard in the Pantheon by all the gods, but many of them repudiate him or are his enemies because of his pemanent good and prudent behaviour, however he always forgive them because they all are like his brothers.

His temples and cathedrals are the most beautiful, most numerous and biggest ones of Anthara.

Nerull, the Reaper, god of death. Once there was an endless life for the people of Anthara but Nerull appeared to exterminate the immortal life that the they used to have in the beginning. He decided that life would have an end and that he would be the only one who would determine it.

He decides when the time has come for everyone, such things as suicide or sacrifice are the worst possible insults for him. Everyone believes in death, so he got much, much power. In the Pantheon, he sits next to Pelor, the god of good and life, they both are indisputably the two more powerful gods of Anthara. They both made a deal with conditions to create the human race.

Some persons say that when somebody dies, who has done much for Nerull, he travels through the planes as an avatar to get Anthara and to reclaim that soul personally. Later, they both come back to Nerull’s plane together. Some say that it is a big privilege.

There is no one able to look at Nerull’s face, anyone who tries, will die. His face is unknown for every living creature. His simple face has the power to kill everyone, there is not something such as salvation against him.

Among Nerull’s main characteristics are an extrem wisdom, intelligence and evil.

Corellon Larethian, who created the first living creature in Anthara, Megara, a big and golden tree which is the current residence of the elven kings from Ainster, the most important continent of Anthara.

As one of the five creator gods of Anthara; father and deity of elves, he had the privilege of giving wonderful gifts to them, such as beauty and almost immortality.

Garl Glittergold, also known as Mr. Wealth, Mr. Gold and Mr. Elegance. He was the one who created the gnomes, therefore he got the title of Sir of the Gnomes, of which he is very proud.

One of the five creator gods who created Anthara and the one who turned the stone into gold. He cheated on Moradin, turned the stone into gold and made gold more valuablethan stone. Later, Moradin realized and Garl felt sorry, so he shared gold with him.

Yondalla, Mother of the halflings, Goddess of harvest as well as families. She is also called “the Protector” because she protects her race at any cost. She is one of the five creator gods who created Anthara.

Wisdom, seriousness… but such a fighter soul. She tend to be peaceful, but when she is called to fight, she goes first.

Gruumsh, the one-eyed. Barbarian, executioner, savage, ruthless… but mainly, his main characteristics are strength and power. One of the five creator gods who created Anthara. Most of the orcs got their savage characteristics when he created them with him own blood.

There is not a word such as piety for him. Terrible wars faced orcs and elves long time ago, where orcs, as race, were killed and almost exterminated. They had been fighting since the beginning of the time, but the last fight dishonored the ocs too much, when they fled. Gruumsh, leader and deity of orcs, lost his eye against Corellon, leader and deity of elves. After the war, the orcs lost all their territories. Very few orcs are living in the world nowadays because of that war and they want revenge.

Despite the terrible price of defeat, Gruumsh ordered those few orcs who survived to kill all the elves and reconquer their territory. They all have been following his words until today.

Moradin, Father of the dwarves, one of the five creator gods who created Anthara, the one who forged and turned stones and mountains into dwarves. 

Strength, entirety, righteousness, pride and tenacity are the ideal words to describe him. The dwarves got some of his main characteristics; some may consider them virtues; others, misfortunes.
