I was listening to Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat soundtrack while working on my WHA animatic.

I loved how the first one turned out. I think it was the first time I really felt like I was getting the hang of the anime art style.

But in the animatic Coco is still supposed to be a kid and the first image, while good, makes her seem more like a teenager so I had to redraw the frame to this instead:

I own about three dif Sora's and am curious how many would be needed to reach a price like that lol

It was a complete collection including all variants and exclusives.

The chase and exclusives were valued around the same price as their original counterparts, and after looking at the prices myself it seems like none of them are commonly sold under market value. There were 54 pops in total averaging around $10 - $14.50 each. Two of them (Sora riding the wave of heartless and the Chip and Dale duo) sold for $40 each.

With this math it does seem like a no brainer why the total was the amount it was, but I had no idea what the market value was when I brought them. I truly believed I was only going to get around $50 for the lot since game stores usually have to offer a lower amount if they’re going to profit (which no harm done, they gotta do what they need to do).

I also genuinely believed that people hated funkos now so the value wouldn’t have been much. My guess is perhaps since it was a complete collection (up until the current drop) then maybe that was a factor too.

It shocked me that I got such an offer.

Just realized I never shared my oc here! Everyone! I would like to introduce you to Syon!

Syon is a talkative and awkward individual who grew up isolated for twenty-five years in the fey realm so his understanding of the regular world and humans is minimal. Now that he has finally returned he wants to make up for lost time by learning all he can about the world he missed out on (starting with learning how to read). His curiosity sometimes causes him to get into trouble but his ability to make friends just as easily helps him get out of trouble too.

Syon tends to miss social cues and is a bit nieve but has a good heart and always enjoys the little things in life that others don't usually notice. He tries not to think about the time that had passed nor of the family he never got to see again but sometimes that loss is too much to bear. Syon keeps a happy expression even on his worst days but relies on his closest friends should his burden become too staggering to suppress.

For twenty-five years Syon dreamed of returning to the material plane and living out there with people again... now that wish has finally been granted Syon vows to never take advantage of the new life he leads and will always remain loyal to those who have supported him.

My goal is to make a cartoon pilot or webcomic sharing his story so feel free to ask me any questions regarding his character! I’ll be sharing more about his companions in the future so hope you stick around!
