I was listening to Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat soundtrack while working on my WHA animatic.

I loved how the first one turned out. I think it was the first time I really felt like I was getting the hang of the anime art style.

But in the animatic Coco is still supposed to be a kid and the first image, while good, makes her seem more like a teenager so I had to redraw the frame to this instead:

I own about three dif Sora's and am curious how many would be needed to reach a price like that lol

It was a complete collection including all variants and exclusives.

The chase and exclusives were valued around the same price as their original counterparts, and after looking at the prices myself it seems like none of them are commonly sold under market value. There were 54 pops in total averaging around $10 - $14.50 each. Two of them (Sora riding the wave of heartless and the Chip and Dale duo) sold for $40 each.

With this math it does seem like a no brainer why the total was the amount it was, but I had no idea what the market value was when I brought them. I truly believed I was only going to get around $50 for the lot since game stores usually have to offer a lower amount if they’re going to profit (which no harm done, they gotta do what they need to do).

I also genuinely believed that people hated funkos now so the value wouldn’t have been much. My guess is perhaps since it was a complete collection (up until the current drop) then maybe that was a factor too.

It shocked me that I got such an offer.
