Work From the Bottom Up

We believe that a Bottom-Up approach to city management is more effective than a Top-Down methodology. The City of Chicago keeps adding new infrastructure, but makes no plans/accomodations to a) maintain these new additions and b) can barely keep up with the existing city maintenance. Any successful endeavor is built from the Ground-Up, and maintaining a city is no exception. We believe that the City of Chicago has slowly gone into a state of disrepair over the past years, while ignoring all of the small things. Ignoring the foundation/small things, let’s all of the little things pile up, creating insurmountable tasks in the long-term. Small issues add up to big issues, if left unchecked, over time. This site is devoted to basic, fundamental improvement ideas centered around upkeep, maintenance and repairs. Any image on this side had a 311 request submitted.
