still figuring out who she is— aren’t we all?

and i don’t mean that in a flippant way. i mean it in a way that says there will always be parts of you that have yet to be discovered.

with each experience, you unlock a new level of understanding. the things you thought you were into don’t interest you anymore. you may want to change careers. cities. states. hell… you may want to rock out in another the country for a while.

the gestures that had your heart beating out of your chest don’t woo you the same. you roll your eyes at behavior that would’ve turned your head and blush at actions you perceived to be cringy.

people you’ve known as a constant start to feel different. and whether that different is good or bad it will tell you something about yourself.

you will ask yourself who am i? what do i need? what do i want? who am i? repeatedly.

but i promise you. as long as you keep an open mind and patient heart it will all be worth it.
