I think I've hit the point of no return. I've found my authentic self, and just can't stop. I bought a collar yesterday, and plan to wear it outside tomorrow. It's an urge that can't be satiated. I'm very socially anxious and paranoid, but I for some reason have the urge to wear it outside tomorrow.

I don't think I can ever go back to pretending to be normal. The cat (rather: dog, squirrel, or lemur) is out of the box, and I'm not going back in. I don't think I could go back in if I wanted to. I would just be so immensely miserable all the time.

- walking on my toes with my knees slightly bent. feels more digitigrade in my mind

- resource guarding. i hiss and swat at ppl who get too close to my food and growl when they get close to objects i value

- i can move both my ears independently and sometimes when i hear a loud noise i feel them try to move in that direction. i like imagining that my ears are swiveling to hear better (and tbf things usually do get louder when i move my ears)

- when sitting on my knees i like sitting straight up with proper posture. makes me feel alert and like im a dog ready for its next command

- along with the last one, alert behaviors that are seen with dogs. swiveling my head quickly, staring intensely in directions i suspect something to be in, tilting my head, etc.

- squeaking and sticking my tongue out while yawning. kinda something i picked up after listening to my dogs making a squeaking sound while yawning

- shaking my head when my hair is wet. self explanatory me thinks

- calling my body hair fur. its meant to be fur anyway so i might as well call it what it is. i also call it fluff and fuzz :3

- having odd/unnatural hair colors make me feel like a bird

anyways, tips!

Wearing fluffy clothing.

Gear like masks, tails, ears, etc helps some nonhumans, but this may not apply to you, and that’s okay.

You could tease your hair out to make it scruffier, or wet your hair till damp, depending on what you’re going for.

Aligning colour pallets with what your wearing and the colour you desire to be.

If you like doing makeup, there’s definitely tutorials out there to do feline makeup. Also lightly smudging makeup for the skrunkly:)

goats : a domesticated species apart of the bovidae family or otherwise known as genus capra. they are herbivores and typically found on mountain regions.

Physical tips

=—= Buy goat ears and tails. I recommend looking into faux specifically for them.

=—= If you're able to, I'd recommend being vegan or vegetarian. If you're not able to, I'd recommend to put lettuce or anything around the meat. You can also eat salad with meat in it if that helps aswell.

=—= Buy clothing that reminds you of goats, I'd recommend mimicking the fur colour and other aspects such as fur length.

Social aspects

=—= Gain an interest in goats. Share interesting facts, talk about wanting to own one, etc. Others will start to compare or even say you are basically a goat. We've done this exact same thing with warrior cats and got a nickname due to our interest.

=—= Compare yourself to a goat just enough for others to start comparing you to goats.

=—= If you can, I'd recommend telling others that you're a therian or transspecies if you feel comfortable with doing such. Typically saying your a therian may be a safer option even if its technical lying.
