It's not rare when a lot of people who identify as domestic animals struggle with finding their breed. There are a lot of times when something simply clicks or seems accurate, but often you can't find anything for a long period of time.
For myself, it was hard and has taken a few years to find my breed that would simply just stand there and not go away. Sometimes I wonder if I am really a different breed? At some times, I feel like the Hanoverian isn't me, but it does fit. The movements and the body is just something that makes me click, makes me feel like I really look like that.
The questioning is something that never ends for me, even if things have settled down. It feels right, but something feels wrong about it. Sometimes I just look at a picture of a Latvian horse and just go: "This could actually be me." However, if I try and change it, it just doesn't seem right and I go back where I started.
If I am being honest, I feel like the Hanoverian truly fits me. It has been a confirmed breed since late 2019, and I don't think I would like it to change.
