Some old colour tests I found which are really pleasing to me!  Liquitex acrylic on orange paper. 

Another abstraction,  allowing this to develop more freely.  For this series of paintings I am choosing to mix colours at random from a limited palette of Yellow Ochre, Vermillion Hue, Primary Blue and Titanium White.  

Carrying on with the abstraction of the bus drawings from memory, really liking where this is leading.  

Drawing from memory,  inspired by Kandinsky’s fascination with the primitive.

I am unsure of the colours in this study however I like the texture of the brush marks used.  Further experimentation can be seen in following posts! 

I absolutely adore these vidoes from MoMA, learning about the artist and process at the same time really helps me absorb all of the information! 

More experiments.  I love the grainy, lo-fi quality of scaled up photographs.
