I never used to know what this phrase meant, I always heard it but I couldn't quite get my finger around it's meaning, until one day I wanted to change something about myself, specifically being a better daughter to my mom, more lovely, thankful, responsible and just better and every way possible, so that one day I told myself I should do it, I should respect her and treat her amazing and help her with anything and all that, so I did, I just did it, having that thought and desire of doing so made me did it, every time I saw her I would just think of what I wanted, my wish to achieve so I would do it, and that was that, I wasn't thinking about everyday, or about how would I do it or be tomorrow or in 3 months, I was just thinking about today, that day, and by the end of it when I was laying in my bed I thought "I did it" I actually did what I wanted to, I didn't need anything to do so just the right mentality, and then it was the next day and I would think the same I would do the same, being who I wanted to be, a good daughter, and I would once again achieve it, of course sometimes and even some days I wouldn't be, I would be in a bad mood or she could even be in a bad mood which would made me in a bad mood as well but that wouldn't change a thing, because I would still have the next day to be it and then I would get it right again, and again, and again, so I finally got it, when you want to do something, achieve something, don't think about what well happen in some certain time because thinking of time will just keep you from doing things, it would make you lazy and eventually you won't do it, so just do it one day at a time.
