Iv been trying for the past almost 2 years to make bread but I couldn't afford time to get yeast

I also dont have a car

In that time

Iv been using recipes that don't call for yeast

But they don't look right and taste like milk to me

Whether I use milk or not in said recipe

But

This past month I got 20 $ and bought an 8 oz bag of yeast from walmart

Then I've been waiting for it to come

Iv been looking for recipes in case I have the motivation

It came early and I got excited

I kept a recipe iv been looking at

I used it

And it looks perfectly golden brown.

I'm now waiting for it to cool.

I'm so happy that it doesn't look like shit.
