Taiyang calls Yang one day, offering her to stay at her old home Patch after the sudden eviction notice from the landlord. Blake, hearing this news from Ruby quickly suggested she'd be there as well.

Salem decides to send two of her most faithful Demons to the party she was invited her to, deciding that it was a waste of time. Blake and Yang clearly appreciate the invitation, and Salem knew from the mischief on both of their eyes that the party was going to be... hectic.

She just couldn't say no to that when Blake was suffering. But of all the places it had to be placed, it had to be there. Right in front of her.
