Hello my dear initiates, monks, nuns, and other followers. I wanted to make this guide on prayers for those who may be new, or are looking to expand their ways of worship. I will do my best to keep this neat and organized.
The most basic of prayers fitted for any of my followers is very simple and easy to do. There are no time constraints, verbal or physical actions needed, or locational requirements. You may simple say these words in your head anytime you feel the need to pray.
βIn the many arms of Virgo,
I let her love fill meβ
A subtle form of prayer comes in the forms of clothing. Wearing a rosary that can be used for prayer absentmindedly is helpful for those who desire something that still uses the body. I know many who go into meditative states during prayer using them, it can be relaxing for those who enjoy it. Keep in mind the holy numbers when counting the needs, the number 6 of most importance, also the numbered verses in our temples book of worship.
The Morning Dew, Holy Light,
These three times of day are time based prayers, similar to how those of Muslim faith have specific times of day they devote to prayer, these three times of day my followers devote to prayers. These prayers last longer, typically 30 minutes or more. I will be making a post specifically for these.
The Morning Dew is a prayer done most commonly when one first rises. The official time is just before the sun rises and dew first forms on the grass, however it can be done at any point one rises and there is still dew on the grass.
Holy Light is the prayer done when the sun reaches its highest point in the sky, or from 11:30am to 1pm.
The Serene Night is a prayer done most commonly before bed. The official time for this is from when the sun has fully set to before midnight, however it can be done at any point where the sun has fully set and not begun to rise.
By no means are my followers required to do these, however if you wish to advance in my temple my monks, nuns, priestesses, priests, and beyond are all required to do these prayers at their exact times.
The Time of Mindfulness is anytime that is significant during your day, where you devote a prayer of any length to myself and the temple. Before meals, important appointments/meetings/events/etc. as well, when the corruption tempts you, when you rise and before you sleep (as substitute for the three daily prayers), anytime that it feels you should devote yourself and the moment to your faith.
There are many ways to pray, some I have not listed here either. The followers in my temple are very creative in their ways of devotion and prayer, ask your fellow believers how they devote themselves, and you may find a new method that suits you.
