~ Discovera Corp was once famous for being the largest leader in scientific advancements... and in a overpopulated world where space and nature were starting to shrink they practically had a giant bio-dome zoo with some of the last remaining animals, even cloned animals of species that had gone extinct like Lions, Leopards, and even Gorillas!
They could also genetically modify- which resulted in an ever so popular orange and red dog breed!
But that was just what the public got to see, deep in the lab they could also create brand new species from scratch. The Genesis project was such a case, led by Dr. Springwell the lead geneticist in Discovera corp. Sheād been given the funding and orders to create a brand new species, a lifeform designed to be loyal and serve humans... and replace the unstable and highly aggressive F 86.
After multiple failures G04 was the first successful surviving specimen, albeit due to their innate psychic abilities this new species required cybernetic alterations to limit their potent psychic and pyrokinesis abilities... the general plan was to upgrade these cybergenic parts to higher capacity as G04Ā āgrewā into their abilities and learned to better control them.
However Springwell soon found herself growing attached to her creation as G04 showed extremely high intelligence and empathy... and even learning how to speak and write. She had practically become a parental figure to this vaguely feline chimera who showed their kind but naĆÆve personality... Springwell eventually gave them the nameĀ āLuxā since calling them by their specimen production code just seemed wrong.
Unfortunately the CEO of Discovera Corp deemed G04 a failure for failing to meet expectations, and after suggesting potential ways to recoup the money lost on the project Springwell was appalled at how everyone else saw her creation as an asset or an animal.
So she made the hard decision to fake an escape and release Lux to a place where humans would never be able to find them again...Ā
Lux would wait patiently for years... watching the creations of man waste way and be consumed by nature, unaware of how years after their release humans abandoned the world... Instead they were left to ponder if they had done something wrong or if something happened to Springwell.
By the current timeline Lux/G04 has become a loner, rejected by all other beasts for clearly not being a normal beast. Often just seen as aĀ āghostā of the past by beasts due to their elusiveness and uncanniness.Ā
