The Kingdom of Science had finally succeeded in making a rocket that goes up to space. They were choosing the fighter, scientist and pilot; the scientist would be either Senku or Xeno they still needed to choose a pilot and fighter. Xeno crossed his arms as he turned towards the many computers they made" I must stay at the control tower since I know what to do thanks to my time at NASA and have seen many launches. I alone can fill that role," Senku, Suika, Kohaku, Gen, Y/N, Chrome and Akira; Y/N's and Senku's son. Senku was picking his right ear with his pinky. Akira was ten years old now and obviously gotten his dad's genius brain. He learned a lot from his dad, watching him make things and explain how they are made and what each part does and how it's made to along with chemicals. Senku was very proud of his son' this must of been how Dad felt when he watched me experiment and make successful projects. The proud feeling of me succeeding in a lot of things that failed but never giving up. Akira is doing the same things as I did when I was growing up. Just difference he is learning from me and not books like I did since books are no more..'
Y/N was so proud of her son, learning the ropes with his dad. She along with Kohaku and Kinro had taught him how to fight and defend and hunt, using knives and spears. Akira was a great mix of science and strength. Chrome grins" then I think it's pretty obvious who our scientist will be" he looked at Senku, Suika grins" is it even up for discussion?" Senku looked at them confused as he took his pinky out of his ear" huh?" Akira grins and hugs his dad" yeah! It's always been Dad's dream to go to space to! Right Mom?" He was told The Hundred Tales from Ruri and his mom along with listening to his grandpa's last voice message to Senku and the song One Small Step from Lillian Weinberg. Y/N smiled softly" that's right Sweetie" Senku looked at his son" well I didn't really expect to go to space to fight some entity on the moon... I was hoping my first trip was to actually see space and look at the moon and take samples of it... not fight a person called Why-Man who turned everyone on Earth to stone..."
Y/N walked to her husband" well sometimes plans change but you are going to space none the less" she smiled softly. Xeno smirks" although they'll be petrified most of the journey, it will be physically taxing so they'll train for strength and stamina," Senku's pupils turned slit, sweat on his face, mouth in a straight line" hm?!" Gen said a bit nervous for his scientist friend" Senku's a true genius" Y/N sighs softly" but... a weakling.." She feels very sorry for her husband knowing he will have to do the NASA's training regiments like his dad did and she knew the clothed swimming training will be hard for him like how it was for Byakuya.
In the river, Senku sunk like a rock, he scurries up and flairs his arms and legs trying to stay afloat, Nikki and two men were on a boat in front of him, Nikki said" come on you gotta do better than that! We know you have the strength of a flea but you shouldn't get wrecked just swimming with all your clothes on," Y/N sweat drops as she watched her husband flaring in the water" cut him some slack Nikki... He's never done much physical stuff since the first iron making oven..." She remembered when they had to make iron using the hand made iron making oven; god she did not want to do that again. It hurt bad, she could barely feel her arms for a week.
Akira watched his dad struggle, he remembered part of the story" didn't Grandpa struggle to?" Y/N nods" yeah, he struggled the clothed swimming exam; he said that his leg cramped up and he was never a good swimming to begin with" Akira watched his dad" will he be alright?" Y/N honestly had no clue but she did believe in her husband" it will be hard but we need to believe in him," he looked at his mom" I do believe in him Mom," Nikki said" the space suit will be a lot harder to move in than your Einstein cape" Suika looked at the boat shocked" I didn't know Nikki was here!" Taiju grins" how come no one told us that their group was back from Japan!" Under the water Senku looked behind him and saw the villagers in the water also, he popped out from the water, panting, he looked to his left and saw Tsukasa in the lead with Hyoga behind him. Suika, Chrome and a large man from Japan was in a boat, beside them were Kinro, Ginro and Magma. The man was amazed" how are those Ishigami villagers keeping up? They're like fish people," Chrome and Suika had onigiris in their hands, eating them happily, Suika said" not even clothes can hold us back, as we were always in the water since the day we were born," Senku smiled softly as he water the people swim, a memory went through his head.

Young Senku, young Taiju, young Y/N and his dad were at a pool, Byakuya had Senku's electrode training suit on, flaring around as electricity was coursing through his limbs making him do breaststrokes on their own. Senku smirks" you said the clothed swimming task was your biggest hurtle didn't you?" Y/N watched with some concern on her face" are you sure this is even safe Sen?" Senku smirks" ten billion percent not sure but it'll help him that I am ten billion percent certain of," Y/N sweat drops" that is not reassuring at all Sen....'

Senku pushed up one bang out of his face and took off again, faltering over and over but continued doing the front crawl swimming move. Chrome grins" whoa! Senku got a second wind!" Suika had her arms up, smiling" you can do it Senku! Keep it up!" Akira looked at his mom can I go to?" Y/N wanted to say no but she knew holding back and being over protective of Akira would not help him grow strong" of course Akira but if you feel winded call for the boat," Akira smiled widely and nods" I will Mom!" He hugs her and dives in the water and started front crawling after his dad. After successfully swimming to the other side of the land, Y/N had met up with her husband and son with towels. Senku breathlessly climbed up onto land, flops down on his stomach" ugh! Now I know how my old man felt when he failed the first time... That was brutal... Surprise I didn't drown the moment I jumped in..."
Y/N sets the towel on his head and gently dries his hair" you did wonderful Sen, I knew you could do it. I also saw that look to.. You were thinking back when you made him that suit right?" Senku sits up after catching his breath, towel still on his head" yeah.. I was, he told me after he passed the exam that even though he couldn't swim in that, it was not useful but he had to swim in it since I made it for him when I was only in fifth grade, took my time and effort to make it so he could succeed in becoming an astronaut.. I was not sorry about putting pain on his body and limbs but I was pleased he worked hard also," Y/N smiled softly" you did amazing things when you were younger, scared me a little that you had all that knowledge and can make many dangerous things," Senku chuckles" but you grown use to it by the time we entered middle school,"
Y/N smiled" I did and it was the many reasons why I fell for you," she kissed him softly. Akira came up from the water" that was so fun Dad! You were swimming like a mad man!" Y/N laughed a little as she placed another towel over her son's head and dries his hair ignoring his protest that he could do it himself and he was not a baby. Senku said" I did want to get out of the water fast, my limbs were cramping. I was determined to get on shore before I almost drowned again," Akira said" Grandpa probably felt like that when he first did the astronaut clothed swimming exam," Senku chuckles" he did, he complained about it to me after he failed, it was pretty sad and annoying to be honest, he would remind me about how he failed it so many times, when I heard JAXA was accepting new recruits after ten years, I knew I needed to make him something to help with his bad swimming," Akira grins" I remember it from the Hundred stories and from you and Mom!" She said" yes, it was interesting watching your dad put the suit together as a young child. Alright, let's dry your clothes properly before the next exam you two," she helped them to their feet and leads them to the bonfire that Taiju and Kohaku made.

The first person to vocally point it out was Yuzuriha. Her eyes were wide with curiosity and bewilderment. You nearly laughed in disbelief.
Because from your perspective, what she was saying barely made any sense. This was the Senku Ishigami she was talking about. The science-obsessed boy who approached everything in life with logic.
“You're telling me that's…normal?” She gestured at the small milk carton in your hands that Senku gave you minutes ago.
You nodded casually while sipping. “Yeah, it's just milk.”
You said it so simply, as if you were ignoring the details of what happened earlier that clearly contradicted your “it's just milk”.
The moment the third period came to an end, Senku dragged you out of class without saying anything. You had grown used to it, hence you let him tug on your wrist softly without asking questions.
He guided you swiftly through the bustling hallway. The two of you reached his locker, and before you could peek to check what he was reaching out for, he handed you a small milk carton. It was still cold.
He clicked the roof of his tongue out of annoyance. “Your glucose levels crashed halfway through the third period. How many times do I have to tell you not to skip breakfast?”
You gave him a cheeky smile, already familiar with the gesture. “Thanks, Sen. I woke up late again, okay?”
Behind the two of you, Taiju and Yuzuriha watched the interaction. Both were clearly shocked, however, for two completely different reasons.
Taiju aggressively pointed at the milk carton in your hands, “Senku! How did you keep it cold?!”
“Insulated water bottle and ice. She won't drink it unless it's cold.” He said so casually while reading something on his phone.
Yuzuriha, however, wasn't curious about the science behind the cold milk carton. No, she was curious about the scientific explanation as to why you acted as if this was normal. How Senku acted as if this was normal.
“Was that really normal? I don't think it was…” she asked when it was just the two of you; her voice remained soft and polite.
Senku had made his way to the science laboratory while Taiju was eager to see another fascinating experiment of his.
You hummed, “Yeah, that's just how Senku has always been. I call it his acts of science. He says it's to keep me efficient.”
Senku always did things like that. He had a knack with his small gestures, weaving them into the fabric of your daily life.
It wasn't strange or new to you. Not really. Not when he's been consistently doing it for years.

You constantly complain about headaches almost every afternoon, especially during study sessions. Muttered complaints fell from your lips easily, and rubbing your temples became a habit.
“You're dehydrated.” You heard him say from across you while working with a circuit board, one that was too complex for you to understand. It wasn't a question; it sounded like a statement from his observation.
You lift your head up, tired eyes meeting his striking red ones. With a weak smile, you muttered out, “Thanks for the diagnosis, doc.”
“Tch.”
He didn't say anything else as he pulled out a water bottle from his bag, followed by a pack of electrolyte powder.
He pushed the opened bottle forward, the bits of electrolyte powder already dissolving into the water. “You’re inefficient when your body is malfunctioning.”
You gave him a knowing smile before he continued to work on his circuit board. Senku's focus returned to it, or so you thought.
“And your caffeine intake is garbage. Stop consuming it like a lifeline.”
Your smile faltered. “Hey, you're acting like you don't drink coffee too, genius!” You retorted, frustration lacing your tone.
Without even glancing up from his circuit board, he shot back, “Unlike someone, I don't rely on it to function properly.”
You threw an eraser at him, to which he dodged effortlessly, a smirk tugging the corner of his lips.
Still, despite your banter, there was an undeniable truth. Senku always seemed to notice everything before you did.
Yet you never asked. That was just the way he was—always too observant. Always a step ahead.

The science laboratory always smelled like chemicals, metals, and something burning whenever Senku felt like it.
It was enough to remind students passing by that Senku Ishigami was inside—most likely taking something apart or fixing it, mixing chemicals, or accidentally blowing something up.
The laboratory wasn't just occupied by him; there were multiple other students working on something. Though they were never as over-the-top as the ones Senku worked on.
In the middle of it all sat Senku, who had recently cleaned up after a chemical experiment. The sleeves of his lab coat were now rolled, revealing his forearms as he worked on the blueprint of his next rocket model.
The room around him hummed with conversation, though most people knew better than to interrupt him while he worked.
Which was why a question from another student caught everyone off guard.
“Hey, Senku.”
“What?” He replied flatly.
The student hesitated briefly before pointing at Senku's wrist. “What's with the hair tie?”
Every head in the science laboratory turned immediately because now that someone was brave enough to mention it, there really was a black hair tie looped around his wrist.
It wasn't unusual at first. Not until people started noticing months ago that Senku always had one on his wrist. They assumed it belonged to him, perhaps to tie his hair during experiments—but no, his hair defied the laws of physics.
And he never used it. Not even once.
The student leaned back against the table, a grin on his face as he asked, “You got a girlfriend or something?”
The room instantly erupted as the question flew out of the students’ mouths.
“No way! Senku? Seriously?”
“As if! You really think he has any time for romance?”
“There's no way, are we talking about the same Senku Ishigami?”
“That's what a hair tie means, though!” The student argued defensively, pointing at Senku's wrist. “It's literally a thing, guys wear them when they're taken.”
Senku didn't even bother to look up from the blueprint he was working on, though an irritated look was evident on his face.
“Dumbest thing I've heard all day.”
“So that's a no, Senku?”
“Tch, idiots. Use your brains for once.”
That unfortunately didn't answer anything. However, everyone seemed to be too interested and eager in the conversation.
“So is it someone's?” A student from a corner asked.
Senku finally looked up from his blueprint, clicking the roof of his tongue. “Obviously. Why would I use one when my hair defies gravity and is never in the way?”
The room went silent before,
“OHHHH?”
“No way?!”
Senku looked far more annoyed after hearing their reactions, which, unfortunately, only encouraged everyone further.
“It's basic efficiency." He deadpanned. “Unlike you idiots, I account for predictable patterns to avoid unnecessary situations.”
Then, the doors of the science laboratory suddenly opened.
“Senku?” Your voice cut through the room of chaos, completely unaware of the chaos you've interrupted and caused.
Everyone turned to the door, not just Senku.
You blinked, feeling uncomfortable at the unexpected attention from everyone. “Why is everyone looking at me like that?”
“No reason,” half of the room replied in unison before pretending to focus on their work again.
You frowned suspiciously, eyes settled on Senku as your facial expression asked him questions. He didn't say anything, just stared back as you walked towards him.
You stopped next to him and allowed the suspicion to simmer down as you remembered the reason you were there. “Do you have a hair tie?”
Without saying a word, he lifted his wrist toward you, as if by muscle memory. Your fingers moved automatically and reached out for it.
“Lost another one? You're too careless, idiot.”
You ignored his remark, and with one smooth motion, you slid it off his wrist before tying your hair with practiced ease.
“Thanks, Sen.” You gave him a grin. “I'll see you after school.”
“Hm.”
Senku returned to his blueprint without saying anything else the moment you left.
The room stayed silent for three seconds after you closed the door behind you before erupting into chaos once more.
“What was that?!”
“I knew it was her!”
Senku ignored their loud chaos, his hand already reaching out for the pocket of his pants, and pulled out another hair tie, slipping it onto his wrist.
“Tch, you people are seriously annoying.”

It was normal; you were used to it for years. Why bother to question it now?
The sound of rain suddenly falling from the skies sliced through your reverie. You halted, staring at the building window next to the staircase, before a groan escaped from your lips.
“Great. Just great.” You had forgotten your umbrella. Although you always forget to bring it, this time was different. You had asked Senku to go home without waiting for you. The same guy who never forgets to bring an umbrella and checks the weather forecast.
You made your way down the stairs, and your mood was a perfect match with the gloomy weather outside.
“Took you long enough.”
Your head snapped up toward the familiar voice, and your gaze immediately landed on him, Senku. One hand in his pocket while leaning against a wall near the staircase.
Your mouth fell open in shock. “Sen—?! What are you doing here?!”
“I was waiting for you, what else?” He answered casually. Too casually, as if you didn't ask him not to wait for you.
He walked closer to you, his lab coat hanging on one shoulder while his bag hung on the other. An umbrella settled on one of his hands.
“I told you not to wait!”
“And?”
“It's raining, and it's late!”
“Yeah, no kidding. I'm not blind.”
Without waiting for your response, he threw the lab coat on your shoulder, catching you off guard again. “Wear it, you'll get cold if you don't.”
You frowned, yet slipped on his lab coat. “You should've gone home.”
“Yeah, and leave you here with a 10 billion percent chance of being stranded? You never bring an umbrella or check the weather forecast, idiot.” His tone was completely matter-of-fact, like the answer should've been obvious.
He watched as you struggled with the sleeves. He clicked the roof of his tongue before walking closer, hands already hovering over yours.
“You're hopeless.” He spoke with a tone that was softer than before. Then, with quick, efficient movements, his hands adjusted the sleeves and collar of his lab coat.
Your breath got caught in your throat for a brief moment because of the proximity. “You really didn't have to wait for me, y’know?” Your voice sounded small.
“You get sick too easily. You have the immune system of a Victorian child.” The tone of his voice remained soft as he buttoned the coat properly, ensuring it was secured around your body.
You laughed at the last part, eyes admiring the way his hands moved with the same precision he had when working on an experiment.
He took a step back after he was done. "Besides, Byakuya would never let me hear the end of it if he found out I left without you.”
You grinned, already hooking your arm with his. “Yeah, he would probably say he raised you better than that. Let's go home, Sen.”
That evening, the two of you walked home through the wet streets and drizzling rain. Yet you remained dry. Senku's lab coat protected you from the raindrops as well as the umbrella he held tightly above the two of you.

Your mother's loud knocking on your bedroom door finally woke you up from your slumber.
“Aren't you hanging out with Senku today? Why are you still sleeping?” She asked as she entered your room, eyeing your sleepy figure, who had just woken up.

Your eyes shot open in realization. You were supposed to help Senku purchase an engine component for his new rocket model today.
You immediately got out of bed, nearly tripping over your blanket, and ran straight to the shower, one of your hands grabbing your towel on the way there.
“Be careful!” Your mother yelled out of concern.
After a shower, you scrambled to get ready. Your clothes were everywhere after you forgot to prepare an outfit the night before. After selecting one, you searched for a pair of socks before rushing downstairs.
“Senku's already outside.” Your mother said as she watched you hastily put on your socks, hands already reaching out for your sneakers.
You bid your mother goodbye, already making it past the front door. Your eyes spot Senku, who was waiting for you.
He turned right before your hands fell to your knees for support, panting and out of breath after you practically ran while getting ready.
“You should consider using an alarm.” His voice was laced with amusement as he knelt down, hands already reaching out to tie your shoelaces.
“You could've tripped over your shoelaces again.”
Your heart skipping a beat didn't help you at all. It was normal, you swore to yourself. He fixes your shoelaces all the time. It was just efficient.
Your breathing finally returned to normal. “I did, I slept through it.”
He chuckled before standing up, hand reaching out to flick your forehead. “Idiot, did you sleep late again?”
You raised a brow, hitting him playfully. “You're one to talk, genius.”

Before you could process his warning any further, you felt Senku's hand grab your wrist, pulling you behind him right before the Erlenmeyer flask erupted, bubbles frothing violently at the surface.
Your eyes widened in curiosity as you peeked from behind him. “Whoa,”
His grip never left yours, never loosened; it remained steady around your wrist. “Exactly why I told you not to stand too close.”
You couldn’t help but chuckle softly, “You say that every single time, Sen.”
“And you're stubborn every single time.” He countered back, his grip tightening around your wrist, ensuring you wouldn’t inch any closer.
His grip felt firm, protective, and undeniably comforting. It felt like a silent assurance that you were safe in his presence. You didn't question it; after all, Senku always did things like that, didn't he?

One of the perks of living near Senku meant you could always crash at his place, and Byakuya allowed you to do so. Especially whenever he's busy training to be an astronaut on the other side of the world.
The living room of the Ishigami household was lit by the television screen across you, as well as the faint light coming from the windows. Senku's presence was near and grounding as the two of you watched another move that you picked, of course.
You didn't realize you were crying—not at first. The dialogues bled with a soundtrack that was clearly designed to hurt you slowly.
Beside you, Senku exhaled through his nose. He couldn't comprehend why you kept choosing movies that clearly tugged at your heartstrings.
“Statistically speaking, you've chosen emotional damage 6 times in a row.” He spoke, voice flat as he stared at the screen with a look of boredom. He wouldn't be watching these movies if it weren't for you.
“Shut up, Sen.” You laughed through your flowing tears. Your voice was shaky as the soundtrack was starting to affect you harder.
That was when he finally looked at you, a frown appearing on his face as he saw the tears streaming down, your hands already hovering above your eyes to rub them.
You were crying again. Rubbing your eyes on top of that, too.
“Stop doing that.” He said immediately, tone firm.
You blinked, “Huh?”
“Tch,” his hands reached out, pulling yours away from your face before you could even process it. His grip was gentle, quick, and precise.
“You’re going to irritate your corneas if you keep rubbing your eyes,” he continued, as if a doctor was scolding their patient. “Damage delicate blood vessels, make the inflammation worse— do you want me to continue?”
He warned, and you shook your head. “I'm just—”
“Crying and rubbing your eyes.” He finished for you, clearly unimpressed.
His hands never released your wrists. With a sigh, he pulled them down gently. “Why do you always choose movies that do this to you? It's stupid.”
You opened your mouth, ready to argue and defend your choices. “It's part of the experience, Senku.”
“Yeah, right, I believe you,” he mocked softly.
He shifted closer, hands releasing your wrists. And with the same irritating precision he used for everything else, he reached out for your cheeks, gently wiping your tears away with the pad of his thumbs.
His touch was careful, almost too careful. As if it were another adjustment made to a system that had slightly fallen out of equilibrium.
“The movie wasn't even great,” he muttered, yet his thumb didn't stop. “Crying over a predictable plot outcome?”
You glared at him with angry tears, yet he smiled in return as you lunged to attack him.
“Stop watching them with me if you're only going to judge me, you menace!”
His chuckle filtered the dialogue from the movie, letting you tug at his hair all you want.
“Who will stop you from damaging your eyes if I stopped?” He countered casually—too casually, as if it was a natural response.
You halted, your hands frozen in his hair for a moment before he gently pried them away.
“What?” He asked, red eyes already staring into yours, the light from the window behind you reflecting on it. “You're acting like I don't do it often.”
Right. He does. He does it so often that it has always felt natural. And somewhere along the way, you stopped noticing it entirely. Perhaps you’ve noticed, yet dismissed the thoughts. Never allowing yourself to look further into what those actions actually meant.
Because it was Senku.
Senku Ishigami, the genius who treats inconveniences as problems to solve for the sake of efficiency. However, he was also the boy who remembered things nobody else did.
And still, despite everything, you never called it anything else. It was just Senku's acts of science. You chose to dismiss the feeling of your chest tightening painfully as the realization was coming closer.

You were wrong, utterly wrong. Or at least you thought so, as the realization refused to be dismissed any further after being buried from years of excuses, the familiarity of routines, and the comfort that you understood Senku's nature.
Because that was easier. It was easier than confronting the terrifying realization that maybe everyone else had been right all along.
Perhaps it was never purely about science. Maybe it wasn't just about efficiency, logic, or the fact that Senku disliked being unable to solve inconveniences.

Your breath got caught in your throat again, between your tempting realization and the reflex to push it down. The thought settled painfully; it felt almost impossible to make it go away.
Your memories weren't much help either, as they replayed endlessly without permission, refusing to stay harmless.
The reminders, the way he noticed things before you did, the way he was always prepared for your inconveniences as if he had already calculated them, the way he always remembered.
The realization was everywhere, taunting you dangerously. You could see it in everything you dismissed as his acts of science.
Which was why the sight of the small metal tube of lip stain on your hands felt almost unbearable as it weighed and catalyzed your realization.
“Try it already,” Senku spoke from his desk chair across from you, who sat on his bed, your usual spot. He sounded mildly annoyed at your silence.
You couldn't really blame him. You've been silent for too long, buried in your thoughts that refused to go quiet.
It was almost funny, really. A lip stain was all it took to catalyze your realization. However, it wasn't just any lip stain. It was a replica of the one that you've been searching for endlessly for the past few weeks.
The same lip stain you cried over with embarrassing levels of devastation after losing it, especially since it was discontinued everywhere. You could recall the countless times you brought it up whenever you were with Senku. How the shade was your favorite since it suited you so well, and how you couldn't find any alternatives.
“You…made this?” You spoke out softly, finally finding your voice again.
He clicked the roof of his tongue. “Yeah? Why are you acting so surprised as if I hadn't made things before?”
Your eyes refused to leave the lip stain in your hands. The metal surface felt cool against your fingers. You noticed the engraving of your name on the packaging, which wasn't like the packaging of your previous lip stain with stickers that wore out easily after a few uses.
You heard the wheels of his desk chair roll closer towards you. “I changed the packaging since you always complained about the lettering wearing off easily.”
“How did you remember the shade?” You looked up at him, and your eyes immediately met his again. He was already looking at you.
He gave you his signature laugh. “That was the hard part. Learning cosmetology was 10 billion percent easier. I had to rely on information and pictures online, as well as yours.”
“I would've finished it within a week if you had tested out the shade samples yourself.” He smirked, “Byakuya kept whining that it'd ruin the surprise.”
You tilted your head, “Byakuya knew about this?”
“Of course. He caught me watching a cosmetology crash course at 2 AM.”
You found yourself laughing at his response. Your grin was wide, so wide that it made your cheeks hurt. You were genuinely so happy.
You kept smiling even when you were no longer laughing. Senku raised a brow, mirroring the previous tilt of your head. “What?”
“You're—” your grin appeared again, your cheeks were really starting to hurt. “You're so sweet, Sen.”
He paused in disbelief. “Hah? What are you talking about—”
Your sudden hug caught him off guard, and your added weight pushed the desk chair backward slightly. Your arms were wrapped around his neck, one hand still gripping the lip stain tightly.
“Thank you, Sen. Seriously, I don't know how to thank you enough.”
He clicked the roof of his tongue again, acting annoyed, yet the smile on his face said otherwise. As well as his hand that steadied you against him, returning the hug.
“You can thank me by actually trying it. How else am I supposed to know I got the shade right?”
The grin on your face remained as you pulled away. “Okay,” your voice became strangely soft.
You were about to use your phone screen as a mirror when Senku reached out to grab the lip stain from you. “It has a built-in mirror. Less hassle.”
You stared at him in awe. “Oh my gosh, you really considered the design of the packaging.”
He shrugged, handing the lip stain back to you. “The original design was inefficient. You would need a separate mirror each time.”
He didn't say anything else as he watched you apply it to your lips. A satisfied smile formed on your face, and Senku nearly exhaled in relief. He didn't fail; he succeeded in reviving your favorite lip stain.
Your eyes shifted to meet his again, your smile refusing to leave your face. “How do I look, Sen?”
He paused for a second, “The same but with a different shade of lip color.”
You gasped and hit him playfully. “How rude! You learned cosmetology but not about how to compliment a girl?”
He shrugged, leaning back in his chair. “Why would I waste my time with the latter?”
You rolled your eyes before admiring the shade with the built-in mirror. “You could at least say I look prettier.”
“You always do,” he responded too quickly, without any hesitation in the tone of his voice. It was too straightforward, as if he were reciting a fact.
You short-circuit for a few seconds, cheeks burning up slightly as you look away.
“You're really amazing, Sen...” You mumbled, admiring his creation while trying to ignore the warmth from your cheeks.
“Yeah?” A quiet chuckle escaped from him.
“I've built rockets, and this is what impressed you the most?” He added, a teasing grin on his face.
“Well, this one is the most unexpected thing you would do, y’know?”
He shook his head with another chuckle. “You're welcome.” He moved himself using his chair, a hand reaching for a notebook on his desk. “I haven't tested the transfer resistance yet, but it stains better than the original.”
“Why not?”
“Do you expect me to wear it?”
You laughed out loud, “Wouldn't you do it for science?”
“Nice joke.” He deadpanned. “I did it for you, not for science, idiot.”
Somehow, that confession hit harder than anything else.
“The Senku Ishigami is doing something that isn't for science? Is the world meeting its doom soon?” you joked mockingly.
“That's worse than the previous one.” He deadpanned again.
You giggled, hands reaching out to pull his chair closer to you, a mischievous idea had already appeared in your head just seconds ago.
“What are you doing?”
You didn't answer. Instead, you tugged his head down, closer to your face. With a swift motion, you pressed a quick kiss on his cheek.
You pulled away, satisfied with your results. There was a clear mark from the gloss, yet no pigment. The only pigment you found was the burning ears of Senku, dusted with a faint red.
“Results concluded, it's transfer proof.” You grinned at his frozen state. “You can log the results in your notebook now.”
A teasing smirk formed on your face as you eyed his silent and flustered figure. “You good, Sen?”
“Yeah…” he muttered out after snapping out of his frozen state, voice low as he turned away from you to reach for a pen.
Oh, you were savoring every moment. That was your payback after he made you spiral over his acts of science.
Perhaps the two of you wouldn't talk about it further for now. However, you were—as Senku would say it—10 billion percent sure there's time for that in the future.
For now, you'll mainly appreciate his acts of science, or his way of showing that he cared far more than you thought.

“Where did you learn how to make cosmetics, Senku-chan?” Gen’s curious question hung in the air, capturing Senku's attention.
The scene unfolded in front of the two of them, along with Suika and Soyuz, who were gathered around Amaryllis and you. Together, you were meticulously applying makeup on Kohaku’s face in preparation for the selection.
“It's chemistry, mentalist.” His gaze briefly flickered towards Gen and deadpanned.
Gen sweat dropped. “Yes, but I never expected you to touch that part of chemistry, Senku-chan…”
The scientist shrugged, dismissing the comment. And before Gen could question him further, you suddenly walked to Senku with a bright grin on your face.
“Sen, can you make my lip stain again? I've been missing it lately.” Your eyes sparkled with enthusiasm, something Senku could never say no to.
‘Ah.’ Gen's question had been answered the moment the words fell from your lips. The mentalist wasn't even surprised anymore. ‘So this is the so-called acts of science Yuzuriha-chan was talking about.’

Senku would make small child safe chemistry items for his son. His son barely a year old but crawling early for a 5 month old; it is not surprise to everyone in the village since he is the son of Senku Ishigami and got his smarts and intelligence. He named him Akira Byakuya Ishigami, he now understood how his dad felt when he saw Senku hit milestones because he was very proud of his son. His wife Y/N was just as proud of Akira for learning to crawl early but also worried as he always crawled towards the lab knowing that was where his dad was all the time. Senku had to make a door so his son didn’t crawl inside.
Senku was making blue prints for his son’s toys when he heard his son crying outside, Senku got up and opened it” Akira, you know you aren’t suppose to crawl away from Mommy…” He looked down at his son then picked him up Akira snuggled into his chest, hiccuping from crying” you’re going to be the death of us, kid. Fine, you can stay with me while I work. But no touching anything dangerous.” He said, carrying Akira back to his workbench. He sat down with Akira on his lap, keeping a firm grip on him as he resumed sketching, Akira watched his dad sketch while sucking on his hand.
Senku chuckled at Akira’s fascination with his work, finding his son’s curiosity adorable. He held up the sketch of the chemistry set for Akira to see, pointing to the different beakers and test tubes" look at this, buddy. This is how we make science happen. You’ll be able to do this someday too” he said, using his free hand to gently bounce Akira on his knee. Akira cooed and babbled in response, still sucking on his hand but now watching Senku intently. He looked at the flask in the picture then at the one on the table” ince” as he tried to to say science but couldn’t since he was still too young and had no teeth to form proper words but he was trying.
Senku’s eyes widened in surprise and delight as Akira tried to say “science”. He grinned widely, feeling a rush of pride and excitement” that’s right! Ince! Good job, Akira! You’re already learning!" He praised his son, kissing the top of his head. He picked up the flask on the table and held it up for Akira to see better” this is a flask. We use it to mix chemicals and create new things” He looked at the clear object, he touched it gently” icals” he tried to say chemicals. Senku’s heart swelled with joy as Akira tried to say chemicals. He couldn’t believe how smart his son was already, picking up on the scientific terminology so quickly. He chuckled and nodded enthusiastically” yes! Chemicals! You’re a natural at this, Akira. You’re going to be a scientist just like daddy."
He ruffles Akira’s hair affectionately. He set the flask down and picked up a beaker instead, showing it to Akira” and this is a beaker. It holds the chemicals we use” Akira said as he held the bottom of the beaker “Eeeaaaeerrr” *Senku laughed again, his eyes sparkling with amusement. He was completely enamored with Akira’s attempts to speak” close enough! Beaker! You’re getting there, buddy. You’re going to be saying full sentences in no time." He encouraged him, taking the beaker back and setting it down safely, he noticed that Akira was starting to droop a bit, his eyelids getting heavy. But he was still determined to stay awake and learn. Akira jolts awake, sitting up and whines like he was hating being tired.
Senku chuckled at Akira’s stubbornness, noticing how he would jolt himself awake whenever he started to doze off. He could see the frustration on his son’s face as he fought against sleep” hey now, no need to be grumpy about it. You need your rest, little man. You can’t learn if you’re tired." He gently rubbing Akira’s back in soothing circles. He knew that Akira was a fighter, just like him, but he also knew that his body needed rest to grow and develop properly. Akira moved so he was sitting sideways on his dad’s lap and leans into him, his head resting on his chest, holding onto his shirt and fell asleep.
Senku smiled softly as Akira settled into a more comfortable position, his little body going limp against him. He wrapped his arms around Akira protectively, holding him close as he slept. He could feel Akira’s tiny fingers clutching his shirt, even in his sleep" there we go, finally. Sweet dreams, my little scientist." He pressed a kiss on the top of Akira’s head. He continued to work with one hand, careful not to jostle his son too much. The lab was quiet now, save for the sound of Senku’s pencil scratching against paper and Akira’s soft breathing, the soft glow of the candlelight being the only light in the lab.

It was a rare day off from making the tank, it was a nice day and everyone was doing their own thing outside near the Ishigami Village, Y/N was showing Suika how to braid by braiding another little girl's hair, Suika asked" can you braid someone with short hair like mine?" Y/N said" kind of some people can braid short hair some can't but it's best to have hair at least past your shoulders so you can have more hair to work with" she carefully shows Suika how it's done with the little girl's blonde hair.
The little girl was staying still, humming softly Suika asked" once I get better at this, think I could braid Senku's? I mean his is sticking straight up and I can see in my head that his hair is about pass his shoulders" Y/N smiled" it is possible. Don't worry about not being able to get it the first try, took me a 5 years to be able to braid hair, I practiced on my grandma's hair when she was alive and sometimes Senku much to his dismay"
She chuckles as she remembered back in the old world that she would be in his room, braiding the back and side of his hair while he was tinkering with something and listening to him explain to her what he was doing even though he knew he would lose her since she was not a scientist genius like he was.
After Y/N finished the girls twin braids, she smiled as she touched them gently with happiness" thank you Chieftess" Y/N chuckles softly; Senku proposed to her under the first Christmas tree he made after three thousand years with the light bulbs and had a small ceremony. They said their vows and exchanged rings that Kaseki made then kissed, after the wedding everyone started calling Y/N Chieftess since Senku was the Chief of the village, she did try and tell them to call her by her name but some of the villagers forget so she stopped correcting them; it was still a bit embarrassing to her though.
Y/N smiled as the girl stood up and grins" I love my new hairstyle! I'm going to show Mommy and Daddy!" She waved bye and saying good luck to Suika on her braiding lessons and ran off. Y/N stood and pats her the back of her dress to get the dust off it" lets go practice on Kohaku and Ruri, they have a bit longer hair than the little girl then next is Senku" Suika's eyes sparkle under her helmet" I can't wait!" The two went to Ruri's hut knowing Kohaku was there helping her sister with herbs.
Two Weeks Later
Suika finally got good at braiding hair after practicing braiding some of the villagers' hair; male and female and kids, she gathered flowers and hurried to Senku's lab, she knocks on the door and Y/N opened the door as she was helping her husband mix some chemicals" oh Suika, what's up?" Suika smiled as she jumped up and down happily" I finally can braid different length of hair!" Y/N smiled" good job Suika!" she pets her watermelon" I'm assuming you are here for Senku?" Suika nods and came in the lab.
Y/N went over to the table where her husband was" Senku, can you stop for a bit? Suika wants to show you something she learned" Senku looked at his wife and at Suika and sets his flasks down" alright, I guess I can take a break" he stretched his arms above his head then bent his left arm, his hand on his right arm that was still raised then he bent backwards a bit with a grunt. He dropped his arms and went over to Suika" what have you learned Suika?" Suika said" it's nothing to help with science I'm sorry but Y/N taught me it just for fun. You need to sit on the ground and bend forward a little so I can reach your hair" Senku crossed his arms" braiding hair?" Y/N giggles" of course you would get it immediately Senku" Senku sits down and bends down a bit so Suika can reach where she needed to reach.
He said" you did the same thing when we were in middle school, you said you had something to show me and that I had to have my eyes close and when I did I had five braids in my hair" Y/N giggles" I'm half sorry, I believe you looked really good in them" Senku rolls his eyes" You're lucky I tolerated you and allowed you to do that and keep it on until we left school. Like I would go home with that, my dad would of teased me so bad because of it" Y/N giggled softly at that as she knew Byakuya would tease Senku about his braids.
Suika smiled" all done and I added flowers!!" Senku sat up and Y/N looked at her masterpiece; Suika braided one of Senku's bangs and added two more braids in the front and flowers in his hair, Y/N crossed her arms" looking good Senku" she looked around and saw a mirror piece and held it up to Senku. Senku tried not to cringe and make a face not wanting to upset Suika" very skillful Suika, not bad" Suika smiled happily" you look like a flower fairy!"
Y/N coughed in her hand trying not to laugh, Senku takes out a flower from his hair" if you two are satisfied, I'll take these off then" Suika's eyes water" don't you like it Senku...? Why do you want to take it off already? I worked so hard on the braids..." Senku sweat drops at Suika' shit...' Not wanting to upset Suika and get scolded by Y/N for being heartless, he sighs and kept the braids and flowers. Suika cheered and ran off to tell Gen and Kohaku what she did. Y/N smirks" good choice," Senku grunts" I don't need to look like a bad guy and get chewed out by you and the others for making Suika upset and cry..." He went to his table and picks up his flask and vial to mix some chemicals" take notes" Y/N just giggled and takes out his notebook and wrote what his findings were' I wish I had my phone to take a picture of him'
Later on Gen and Kohaku came in the lab, Gen smiled" oh? So Suika said was try," Kohaku said mockingly" wow... he really is cute, he looks like a flower fairy" Senku's left eye twitch, gripping his flask and vial, looked at the two intruders in his lab" I am working! Go away you two! You're so damn annoying!" his face and ears were red, Y/N giggles softly behind the book. Kohaku said" she did pretty well" Gen said" he is such a softie to children," Senku sets the flask and vial down and rubs his face" leave please..." Y/N giggles" now now Senku, be nice. You two don't tease Senku either, nothing wrong for him to be soft to the kids, he is still human and can show emotions"
Gen said" we know Y/N, it's just a bit new seeing him act soft, we are use to him being blunt and hardass" Y/N glared lightly" Gen watch it" Gen raised his hand in defense" I'm sorry Y/N-chan.." Senku sticks his left pinky in his ear" don't go feral Y/N, it's a normal reaction. I'm not offended" she looked at her husband" doesn't mean I can't be offended as you are my husband and I can defend you," Senku smiled softly" I appreciate it," Gen said" you two are adorable," the two left, Y/N walked over to Senku and strokes his cheek" I just hate that they get all shocked when you show normal human emotions.. It's like they forget you have those emotions.. It's insulting."
He sighs and placed his hand on hers that was on his cheek" it's understandable though since I rarely do show soft emotions like that, you are the only one who has seen me cry and being soft, so when people see it, it's new to them so I don't blame them" she sighs and leans into him and hugged him" I know..." she listens to his heart beat, he wraps his arms around her waist" I do appreciate you standing up for me, thank you Y/N. I love you" he kissed her forehead.
A bit sad we don’t get all the way downhair Senku like in season 2 but this works to~ we see slicked back hair Senku. He’s too sexy for his own good like that… I mean look at this man! After that night Y/N was part of Senku's little friend group, Taiju was thrilled to have a new friend and apologized for believing some of the rumors the students were making up about him, Y/N forgave him and he didn't really want to make it a big deal. Y/N came to lunch" hey guys! I have a surprise" He sat down beside Senku, he was leaning against the tree reading about rockets while Taiju and Yuzuriha were looking at her smartphone, watching cute cat videos. The three looked up when they heard Y/N, he pulled out four bento boxes" I told my grandma I made friends, like real friends and she was very thrilled to hear that and she made you three bentos as a thank you for being my friends. She made the traditional kind of bento food so onigiri in different shapes that I thought fit you three, Teriyaki salmon and chicken karaage along with Tamagoyaki (sweet rolled egg), blanched broccoli and pickled cucumbers also with grapes and some berries and with-" he pulled out a big thermos" Lemonade!" Taiju's eyes sparkle" oh wow! Your grandma made all that for the three of us?! All last night! She rocks!" Y/N distributes the different bentos, he gave Senku a green cloth that held the bento, Taiju a brown on and Yuzuriha a pink one. They each opened their bentos; Senku had four flask shaped onigiri, Taiju had four dumbbells, Yuzuriha's were four cat heads. Yuzuriha's and Taiju's eyes sparkle in awe and wow, Taiju said" this is so sick Y/N! Did your grandma make these?!" Y/N said" I did the shapes as her hands weren't steady" Senku lifted his up and moved the onigiri around" not bad, you got the flasks precised" Y/N smiled, blushing lightly at Senku's praise" I tried to do rockets but it just wasn't keeping shape. So I figured flasks would work to" Senku hums" either works, good job Y/N" Taiju grins" these are awesome Y/N! Tell your grandma we said thank you. Itadakimasu!" The three repeated him and started digging in their lunch, Taiju was in heaven" god these flavors just melt in your mouth!" Senku said hums as he tasted his, the end of the chopsticks in his mouth, eyes closed" it's pretty good, better than my cooking and just slightly better than my old man's" Yuzuriha praised" the flavor really explodes on your taste buds, was your grandma a chef in her youth?" Y/N smiled" no, she was a stay at home wife and mother. She told me her own grandmother taught her how to cook great food with limited food" Taiju said" well compliments to her and her grandma! This is really good" Y/N smiled softly" I'll be sure to tell her you guys enjoy her cooking. The bentos are yours to keep also" Taiju grins" awesome! I will decorate mine with stickers when I get home!" Yuzuriha said" that sounds fun, I'll do that to." Senku said" you'll need to find water resistant stickers then because normal stickers will lose it has a special type of glue called pressure-sensitive adhesive. The adhesive relies on a balance of two molecular forces—adhesion which means sticking to the surface and cohesion that sticks to itself which allows it to bond without needing water or heat. Also when you scrub your bento box it'll rub the pictures you had off and they'll flake off like paper." Taiju said" okay" he had no idea what Senku said but agreed to get water proof stickers to make it last longer on his bento. Y/N looked at Senku" can you tell more about science later Senku?" He looked at Y/N" yeah, come by the science club and I'll explain it while I work on a project there" he nods, kind of excited to learn more and listening to Senku's yapping, he really liked listening to Senku explain things.
After school, Y/N called his grandma telling him he was staying late to help Senku in the science club and that the three enjoyed their bentos and they said thank you for making the meal and the bentos. His grandma smiled" I'm so happy to hear your friends enjoyed my cooking Dear, you be careful coming home," Y/N slid the door of the room where the science lab was to the right" I will Grandma. I love you" he hung up, he walked to where Senku was, Senku said while screwing some screws in a contraption" be sure to wear safety goggles and you can borrow a lab jacket hanging on a rack in the left corner of the room" he didn't want Y/N to be hurt or his clothes be ruined even though they weren't using dangerous chemicals. Y/N nods and went to the corner, slides on a lab coat and goggles over his eyes, he went over to Senku" can I help with any thing?" Senku pulled his face from the hatch of the contraption" I laid out some tools, if I need one, hand it to me, you know the basic tools right?" Y/N looked at the tools and nods" yeah, I helped my grandpa with his cars before he passed," Senku's red eyes soften" I'm sorry..." he smiled" thank you.. He's been gone for two years and it still hurts and I miss him, I know my grandma does to." Senku takes a socket wrench and clicks on a 1/4 inch drive on it and reached in the hatch, face in it" can you shine some light in here" Y/N grabs a small handheld flashlight, clicks on it twice so it was on its dim light not wanting to blind Senku in that tiny space he moved so he could shine the light in the hatch without being in Senku's way. He holds it by his head and moved it where Senku told him to until he was where he wanted him to be. Senku started tightening bolts, the clicking of the socket wrench echoed in the metal he said" it's okay to miss him and it will take time to heal, you won't ever stop missing him but the hurt won't be as painful as it was before. There will be times that the hurt will be too much and you curse god on why he took your grandpa when you know you weren't ready to lose him but know you will never be ready to lose a love one. I know you will feel the same way when it's your grandma's turn to leave this Earth just know you are not alone now, you have me, Yuzuriha, Taiju, and my old man when you meet him. He'll be home in two weeks from America" Y/N looked at Senku a bit shocked to hear that but his eyes soften and smiled" thank you Senku" Senku hid his face as he continued tightening the bolts but his ears were red and Y/N was told by Taiju that Senku's ears turn red when he blushes; Senku denies it but Y/N has seen it a few times when he becomes bashful. He pulled away, Y/N pulled away to, the scientist rubs the back of his head" don't think too much about that okay..." Y/N chuckles knowing how Senku is with feelings and being sentimental" sure Senku."
From then on almost every night they meet up on the hill and look at Orion's belt and just talk, whatever is troubling each other, Senku showed his sensitive side and talked about his insecurities to Y/N and Y/N never judged or made fun of the young scientist, he listened and did his best to give Senku advice and assurance he needed. Whenever they did have small fights and had time away from on another, the other man knew where to find the other; at the hill that had a good view of Orion's belt and the other stars. The two would apologize and ends up with laughs and hugs even though Senku tries to always deny he enjoys Y/N's hug.

Y/N stared at Orion's belt" Betelgeuse is still there thankfully, I read back then it could explode into a supernova any time or up to 100,000 years, it has only been 3,000 years so the star has 97,000 years left or at least I hope, it still could go any night; it is in its late stages of core carbon burning, which typically lasts around 1,000 years. Some astronomers hypothesize it could be in the very final stretch of this stage, bringing the explosion closer on a cosmic scale" Senku smirks" you been looking it up and reading any latest news about it huh?" Y/N nods" yeah, I was curious about it, I mean like you I was curious about space after hearing from Byakuya about how you were curious about the moon following you" Senku blushes red, looking away to hide it but his ears gave him away, even after all these years and being married to Y/N he still hated blushing in front of him" damn that old man... telling you about my silly childish questions and experiments..." Y/N chuckles" it's cute and I'm glad you were so curious as a child and asking so many questions. You also helped him with his astronaut exam with the suit even though it didn't really work, it pushed him to swim" Senku chuckles" well I expected it not to work ten billion percent since I was still four and it was a bit rushed to," Y/N smiled" you were still amazing and being a good son to help your dad" Senku grunts" don't make it sound like I am so sentimental over the old man..." he looked away trying to down play his emotions as he remembered Byakuya and how he believed in him and giving him any thing he needed for his science journey.
Y/N looked at Senku" I want you to return and I know Chrome and Suika will likely refuse to see you, Ryusui and Tsukasa leave and knowing you aren't coming back. They will do all they can even if they are still learning science to build a two way rocket," Senku sighs but smiled softly at the moon" yeah.. I know they will, I will shut them down but they are stubborn and I know they will work hard.. Senku looked at everyone with a serious look" now we got a working Medusa... We have what we need to pull it off... Our all important moon mission. Kamikaze style" Y/N's eyes widen as his blood ran cold knowing that word meant Japanese suicide attack. During World War 2 pilots intentionally crash explosive-laden air crafts into Allied naval vessels to stop their advance. Chrome was staring in disbelief, Y/N looked down, hand shaking" you knew and you continued working on the rocket.." Senku looked at Y/N" P/N (Pet Name)... Everyone didn't move, they didn't know what to do right now. They never seen Y/N this upset over Senku's recklessness, not even when Senku went to get the sulfur acid or him riding the tank into Tsukasa's empire or fighting Hyoga or any other dangerous things he had done so this was a new one. Senku sighs, rubs his stinging red cheek" let him cool down, get some rest, we still have work to do tomorrow" they walked off but Gen. He always knows I am always going to come back no matter what. Just this is going to be a bit longer than what he thought.." Gen said" I hope you know what you're doing Senku..." He just sprung that on his husband out of the blue and so bluntly of course Y/N was use to the bluntness but this wasn't something Y/N wouldn't let slide. He got up from his hammock and went to the deck and he saw his husband sitting on the railing and takes a break and walked over" you're going to fall in if you aren't careful..." Y/N scuffs" maybe I should after all you're leaving me" Senku glared lightly" that is not funny Y/N and you act like I am leaving forever, it'll only be... maybe a few years, you guys will find someone who will build a better rocket and get me, Ryusui and Tsukasa off the moon. Being on the moon for who knows how long and me being here on Earth just going on with my life... growing up while you will be 18 still... I'll be older than you... I can't do that Senku... not without you" Senku sighs and looked up at the stars" you're strong Y/N, I believe you will be able to continue going on without me. You'll help bring me back. You'll be Xeno's new protégé, he'll teach you everything he knows like he did with me but you'll have hands on than I did, I just got emails. So I am actually jealous, so you better show me all he taught you when I come back" Y/N chuckles lightly" yeah.. yeah, I will. I'm surprise that brain hasn't gotten fried from all the knowledge you have int here."
Senku smirks" I can cram more in this brain than you think. So what are you looking at? My new grave site?" He looked at the moon, Y/N glared at Senku" you want another red swollen cheek Senku?" Flashback
It was a beautiful day out, the windows were open, letting in the rare cool air inside homeroom, it was five minutes before the bell would ring signalling next class. Senku was drawing his next project on a piece of paper, everyone was hanging with their friends at other desks. Taiju was sitting backwards on a chair in front of Senku" what are you coming up with next Senku?" Senku went to grab his eraser when he accidentally knocked over his bag making his things fall out, before he could get out of his chair someone was gathering them neatly back inside. At lunch, Senku, Taiju and Yuzuriha were eating under their usual tree when they spotted Y/N coming out, throwing away what looked like a soaked brown bag, he was also soaked. He took off his shirt not noticing the three and rings his shirt out and lays it down on the ground so the sun could dry it, he dries his face with a towel and puts on his gym shirt on, Yuzuriha asked" you don't think he is being bullied do you?" Taiju looked at his bento" I can't eat all this rice and curry, my mom packs a lot so this will fill him!" I guess I can spare him some of my rice but only for today, I am not charity" Taiju had a bigger bento so the two slid their portion of food onto the bento and Taiju got up and went over to Y/N. Taiju held out the bento" hello! I'm Taiju Oki! We're in the same homeroom, my friends and I saw you throw away your ruined lunch so we wanted to share some of our extra food to you," Y/N looked at the bento and looked behind Taiju, Yuzuriha waved politely, Senku was looking at a book on his lap as he ate the rest of his rice. Taiju grins" you're welcome, you can bring the bento back tomorrow since we won't see each other until homeroom," Y/N nods and he ate with his own chopsticks that he didn't get to use. After school, Senku left late from school after doing some mini projects in the science club room where he was the president. He yawns as he walked home, one strap of his backpack slung over one shoulder, a soda in his hand he got from a vending machine on the way home, he turned the corner and saw Y/N sitting on a hill, hugging his knees and looking at the sky. Senku was about to walk away when he saw a single meteor flying by and lets out a small gasp as it was rare seeing a meteor flying by mostly it was multiple ones flying by but a meteor show was int he late fall, this one must of broke free from a big meteor and now was traveling across space. Y/N turned his head hearing Senku's soft gasp, he looked over his shoulder at Senku tears in his eyes, he then looked away quickly and rubbed his eyes, Senku sighs and walked over and sits down beside Y/N and hands him his unopened drink, Y/N looked at the bottle and took it" so you heard the rumors?" Y/N sighs" yeah... I'm not really a fighter, I was in one fight at my old school because someone insulted my grandma's homemade lunch and I used too much strength and sent him to the hospital. It was pure accident, I was just in a blind rage since my grandma raised me since I was 4 after my parents abandoned me," Senku hums" I guess that would be understandable, defending your grandma's cooking and her honor." Everything started with a little mistake from the scientist.
A hickey.
We has in the college's laboratory as usual. Calculations here, messy notes everywhere and mysterious liquids all over the table. It was the normal sight for his friends to see, nothing out of the ordinary.
Senku explained to them his new experiment with strange terminology to all of them, they only nodded pretending to understand his overcomplicated words, when suddenly he turned to show something in the whiteboard and Gen saw it.
"HOLD ON!" He screamed. Every living thing on the lab stopped from working, even Senku completely stunned by the scream. "What's that on your neck?!"
The prodigy of science blinked once and then twice extremely confused, "My neck?". And his hand reached the place of everybody's attention. It was extremely subtle, but his eyes expressed the feeling of being caught.
Gen noticed. "Yeah, your neck Senku-chan" He insisted in the matter with a smile plastered on his face. The others eagerly awaited for Senku's response now that the topic had shifted from something complicated to gossip, and not just any gossip, but Senku's private life kind of gossip.
Senku didn't take his hand away from his neck now that Gen had revealed something he wanted to hide, even though, there was no point in hiding the truth, any excuse would be stupid and tedious, he just wanted to work in his project now.
Senku sighed. "A hickey".
His friends didn't saw that coming. They knew about Senku's bluntness, but they hoped to beg more for that kind of information. Even more thinking that he probably had a couple and never told them.
"What?" Taiju was astonished. And the question everybody had in mind. "You have a girlfriend?"
Senku rolled his eyes. "Yes, I do". He wanted to go back to the scientific discussion, but that was impossible after throwing that bomb on them. Senku wished he had worn something that would have covered his neck, that way he could have avoided this whole new argument.
"Since when?" Gen asked. The mentalist couldn't let this opportunity escape from his hands. It was juicy, sweet as honey, delicious as a Cola gossip. Opportunities like this weren't often after all.
"Doesn't matter"
"Of course it matters, we thought you didn't do relationships" Yuzuriha participated in the discussion. She was also in shock at the thought that there was a girl somewhere who had opened Senku's heart and stayed there. That the scientist let her stay.
"Believe me, I thought that too" Senku said shrugging. "It happens"
"Who is she?" Taiju asked excited.
"When did you met her?" Gen and Yuzuriha were also overjoyed and expectantly to know. This was like discovering that mars has martians. "How long have you two being together?"
The scientist was getting tired of the questions about his partner, but an idea appeared on his head. He smiled smugly to his friends, "If you are all so eager to know, discover it on your own"
All the joyful faces fell apart after hearing that.

The challenge was more complicated than they expected.
They spent the last two weeks observing the people Senku talked to when he was in his usual classroom, also following him to the casino and to the rooftop.
Nothing.
Two weeks completely wasted.
He was never seen interacting more than necessary with any of the girls in the extracurricular science class. He would simply explain the class and its topics, and then proceed to conduct his experiments with the others. Afterward, he would gather his things and leave. So perhaps she wasn't one of the girls in that class.
So then, who was Senku's girlfriend if she wasn't from that class?
Maybe that was the problem, they thought Senku could only be with someone from the scientific world, but what if she's not from any scientific careers?
What if she's from another class?
The problem was that Senku was with them all this time and there was no one they haven't seen before.
"I'm running out of ideas" Yuzuriha said while drinking her apple juice sat on a bench. "I haven't seen him interact with someone else except from us"
Gen looked at them, "But we can't give up yet, there's someone from this campus that gave Senku-chan a hickey!" He really wanted to know who was inside the scientist's heart. He knew Senku wouldn't lie about his relationship. Sure, he might be evasive on the topic, but he wasn't a liar.
"Yeah, but who?" Yuzuriha really thought about it. Senku's schedule was extremely predictable, precise and always on time, how did they missed something so important as a couple?
"Well, we still can't give up" Gen said. "Let's look at him closely then"
As days passed, they noticed that Senku checked his phone more often than usual. He sent tons of messages when he had free time and sometimes, took pictures, and sent them.
Once Taiju saw a picture of a drawing on Senku's gallery. The drawing was a chibi version of Senku and a girl with a little heart on top of them. Simple but cute. When Taiju talked about it to Yuzuriha and Gen, they thought about it for a long time.
Usually Senku didn't take pictures of his notebooks or drawings. He was practical, he wouldn't have wasted memory on his own notes. And second, a romantic drawing wasn't his style, not even close. So maybe that drawing was yours.
Gen, with his mentalist and psychologist's mindset, assumed you came from the art world after Taiju's discovery. This surprised him. Someone like Senku, a full-time scientist, with the opposite of that was a funny and maybe, just maybe, predictable thing he never thought possible.
But, well... Opposites attract. Or so he'd heard.
They were walking to accompany the prodigy scientist on his personal time he used in the laboratory when they heard someone else's voice with Senku.
"And what's that?" They heard a sweet voice. Your confusion sounded genuine, so they were right to point out you weren't from the scientific world. Gen instructed them to remain silent.
"E=mc2" They heard Senku's calm voice. He sounded relaxed, also focused, but there was a hint of unstrained that he usually hid from them. He almost, almost, sounded soft.
"What does that stand for?"
"It establishes that energy and mass are equivalent and convertible to each other, related by the speed of light squared"
"What does that imply?" They started to think you were like them. You were with Senku, but didn't understood his explanations.
A sighed from Senku. "You really need to pay attention to your classes" Even when he reprimanded you, he sounded calm.
"Why would I?" You laughed. "I have you if I need answers, plus, we can have fun every time you come over my place"
All of them froze in their place after hearing that coming out of your mouth. Now It was completely obvious you were his girlfriend, even Taiju understood that.
"I know you're outside the door" They heard Senku's voice. "Come here"
They entered the classroom and saw you sitting at the desk next to Senku. You were playing with his hair and made no attempt to hide what you said before.
"Who is she?" Yuzuriha asked.
Senku looked at you and then at them. "She's my partner"
"Hi!" You waved your hand with a lot of energy. "Finally I met you all. I told Senku I wanted to met you all, but he refused"
Gen was out of words. If he thought you were Senku's opposite professionally, it was now clear that you were also his opposite in terms of personality.
You were energetic, outgoing and cheerful.

"It's funny! We found the chemistry between us" You smiled mockingly doing guns with your fingers.
"Stop, just stop" Senku took a deep breath. "Well, this is also the reason I didn't want you all to met"
"So cruel" You said acting hurt.
"It's shocking for me to see you with someone so different" Gen confessed.
"Well, life is boring without these kinds of attributes, isn't it?" Senku shrugged.
Taiju watched you intently. Somehow, you reminded him of someone else. But he simply let the thought fade.
Takes place season 4 part 2 and part 3. Senku x oc Wolf Rain. Wolf is a lycanthrope alien. Lycanthrope can change at will and retain their human intelligence, and possess advanced strength and speed.
Summary: After getting unpetrified, Senku noticed Wolf was not breathing, he really thought she was gone but his brain couldn't accept it and started hallucinate her after 2 years, talking to her like she was next to him but to everyone else he was talking to thin air and it worries everyone.
Guns blasting and explosions were ringing out in the forest, people were separated, it was chaos. Taiju was killed by a bomb in front of Gen, Ryusui was shot multiple times to. Gen waved a white flag but it was shot at. He started freaking out, crying" this is crazy... They are set to kill us all..." Wolf had transformed, bullets inside her from Stanley's men and women when they saw her transforming and thinking she was a monster but the bullets didn't bother her, she was bleeding but ignored it. She tried to save everyone around her but everyone was down even her husband. Wolf saw Senku laying on the ground, bleeding, very weak, blood around his mouth, pale. She hurried over on all fours and whimpers" Senku..." Wolf stared at Xeno and snarls, ears down, raising her hackles at the scientist" this makes no sense! He's your protégé, you two emailed each other when Senku was growing up! And now you had Stanley shoot at him twice!" First time was on the ship when they first came to America and Senku was close to death like he was now. Xeno said" I want to rule the new Stone World using science to create an authoritarian dictatorship. Senku is a dangerous intellectual threat to my absolute control, I want to seize the Kingdom of Science's resources. Now that you show your true form, I want you also. A rare specimen that is not from Earth but from space" Wolf snarls more" I thought Tsukasa's dream for a pure world was barbaric but you take the cake."
Explosions were still happening around them. Senku placed his hand on her paw gently to prevent her from attacking his former mentor, he had just given Suika an order to get under the Medusa Tower, in the middle of it as she was the only one who could still move, Suika had ran off without her helmet that had been broken somewhere earlier; tears falling from her eyes. Stanley came up behind Xeno but did nothing yet, Xeno realized Senku's plan when he saw the green light approaching them fast" I see this is your plan Senku.." Senku weakly laughed" that's right Xeno... You see it now... Humanity might go silent for a few days or months or years... but one way or another be it the cry of an animal or a pearl of thunder... The last revival fluid above that tower will break and rain own on us again..." Wolf held her husband" Senku..." Senku looked at Wolf and gasped out" the... medusa won't work on you Wolf.. since you are not human... Help and protect Suika... I taught you everything since we met the day I broke out the first time... Guide her..."
The light was quickly approaching them, the American Colony and the Kingdom of Science had already become stone. Senku looked at Xeno and laughed weakly" I'll catch you later Xeno... Might be a few days or years... But we will get revived so this is only goodbye until we all meet again.." Wolf cups his cheek gently, stroking her soft paw pad on it, Senku leans into her fur, he never admitted or showed it but he loved snuggling in her warm fur, feeling safe and forgetting about the stone world for awhile" I'll see you soon to Wolf..." Stanley was conflicted as he stood there, his gun in hand while looking at the bodies of the young kids that he and his army shot at and ended their lives. He heard the plan and understood, he could have foiled their plan with a single bullet and destroyed the last revival fluid but that would have ended all of humanity. Stanley could get lucky and shatter the bottle and the liquid would drop on one of his stone allies but also he doesn't believe the one he gets it on are smart enough to make more. He closed his eyes and accepted defeat.
Xeno was amazed as he stared at the green light coming close, it was three thousands years ago that this same light turned everyone on Earth to stone. He had 56 seconds before it reached them the perfect reproducibility. He looked at Senku who was paler with dark bags under his eye now, snuggling in his wife's fur, Xeno said" the fools who ruled the old world were holding me back time and time again. This is our chance to guide by our minds, to set on the right path" Senku smiled weakly even though he was on the brink of death, he still listened to his old mentor" We're alike... We always have been even at our youngest days.." they thought back of their scientific journeys. As kids; kid Senku showed Taiju cool gadgets he made and Xeno thought of his time with Stanly when they were younger to. Xeno was curious as he watched the glow with bliss" what is it that's keeping us from walking the same path?"
Senku grunts" I told you already, it must of been ten years ago, the thought of ruling the world as a dictator doesn't move me a single millimeter, we're way too greedy to settle for that shit. Why would we try to conquer the world as it is when we can craft the world for the future?" With those final words Senku was turned to stone in his wife's arms. Wolf's ears lowered, tears falling" Senku..." Xeno was next to turn to stone, Stanley shed off his armor, tossed his gun away, accepted the beam, lighting one more cigarette" congrats Kingdom of Science" he gets turned to stone. Like what happened three thousand years ago the Earth was covered in the green light and all the humans were turned to stone again, the Earth was now silent once again other than insects and the animals. Wolf closed her eyes as she was now alone, she hid how much bullet wounds she had from Senku and stood strong despite the lack of blood. she lays Senku's statue back and lays down, her right hand on his chest" I'm sorry Senku... Suika..." She knew she wouldn't be able to fulfill Senku's last wish and help Suika but she believed in the little girl to make the revival fluid and wake Senku up, Wolf closed her eyes and stopped breathing along with her heart.
After 3 years, thanks to a Jaguar roaring at the speakers around the tower and a thunder storm the revival fluid bottle broken and dropped on Suika's out stretched hand, she broke out of her stone and gasped out for air, she looked around then at her hands" I broke free! The plan worked! Everyone! Senku! Wolf!" She hurried back to the area where everyone was but frowns when she saw statues everywhere and Wolf laying beside Senku's statue, arm over it protectively. Suika hurried over with difficulty because of her bad eyesight" Wolf..." She touched her her head gently" Wolf...?" Suika felt Wolf's chest but felt no heartbeat, her eyes widen" no..." She hurried to her broken watermelon, pulled out one of the glass lens and hurried to Wolf, she closed one eye and looked at Wolf" so many bullet wounds.... she must of succumbed to her wounds..." Suika's eyes filled with tears" am I the only one left in the world..." Suika looked at Senku's pouches he had on his waist with the glass" Senku doesn't have any revival fluid on him..."
Suika looked around the base but there was no revival fluid any where, she got hungry and went to the food hut but there was nothing so caught fish and cooked them over a fire and then climbed a tree and ate silently" I'm alone now..." tears fell and she looked at the stars and yelled" SOMEBODY WAKE UP AND HELP ME! PLEASE FRANCOIS COOK SOME FOOD FOR ME! WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO DO?! SENKU! WOLF! I NEED YOUR HELP! KOHAKU PLEASE HUG ME!!" She sobs as big tears fell from her cheeks" I CAN'T DO THIS ON MY OWN!" She curls up and held her poncho" not by myself.. I can't" she sobs.
After the cry she rubs her eyes and sniffles" I'll save them all... All of the Kingdom of Science." She bite her thumb and wrote down the formula that Senku had on his tunic E=Mc2 in her blood on her poncho, staring at the sunset, eyes narrow with determination. Next morning she gathered everyone's statues and stood them up near the rock wall and found the revival fluid recipe in Senku's pouch, she tried all the ways but the only one she could do is the one that involved animal feces. She made a hut out of big and small leaves for Wolf, she didn't have the heart to bury Wolf" this is all I can do for now Wolf... I can't bring myself to bury you..." She covers her face with a cloth she found and prays then left to make the revival fluid to bring Senku back.
Big Time Skip to Suika reviving Senku
'Seven.... Eight.... Nine.... Ten....' crack. Senku's left eye broke out of the stone. Suika said softly" I'm sorry I kept you waiting... For such a long time..." Senku looked at Suika, his face now stone free" kukukuku... I see you made yourself useful..." Suika now all grown up, half her watermelon was now around her neck, her hair was longer with two stands resembling a watermelon stem, her face slightly resembles Kohaku's, her poncho is now a lighter shade with Albert Einstein's formula on it, her shoes were a combination of the ones Senku wears and the villager's shoe wear. Suika asked" I'm guessing you don't recognize me any more.." Senku broke out of his stone fully now, crushing the stone in his right hand, he looked at the red cape that had the formula on it, one hand on it then he looked at Suika and smiled softly" thanks Suika..." Suika sniffles and tears fell as she hugs him, Senku looked at the sky" and it only took you seven years... pretty damn fast.."
After the tearful reunion, Senku looked around at all of Suika's tools inventions she did" all this with Wolf's help," Suika came over" Senku... I was alone on this" his eyes widen" what? I told Wolf to help guide you and teach you how to make the revival fluid since the petrification beam didn't affect her.. where is she?" Suika said" I found her laying beside your statue... I had to get one of my lens from my broken helmet to see why she wasn't moving... she had many bullet wounds on her chest and stomach, I think she succumbed to her wounds after everyone turned to stone, I built her a hut out of leaves since I didn't have tools to make a proper hut when I first found her.. I updated it. She's inside, she never rotted though, never decayed like what you said bodies do after years... She stayed the same as I come and check on her in case she maybe was just conserving her energy since she is an alien and maybe she heals over time but nothing... I placed a cloth over her face since you said the old world did that for the dead before burial..." Suika leads him to the hut and opened the door, Wolf was still in her alien form, laying on her back, hands resting on her stomach, a white cloth over her eyes and muzzle, flowers laid beside her.
Senku walked slowly to his wife and kneels down on one knee and held her hand, he placed two fingers on her wrist but felt nothing, he did believe Suika when she said she was gone but he had to find out for himself" she is dead..." He had asked in the past what would happen if she got hurt badly, Wolf never answered that question; she would either change the subject or they get interrupted and he would be too busy to ask again and he regretted not pushing it. Suika said softly" I place new flowers in the room every month to keep the room smelling good... I'm sorry I couldn't do more, I'm not as good with herbs and medical stuff like Luna-Chan and Ruri-nee," Senku looked at Wolf's covered face and takes it off and cups her furry cheek, stroking it" you did all you could Suika... all we can do is wait now and hope... Wolf never told me much about her healing abilities so even I am at a lost..." He got up and walked out, closing the door" show me all you have and then we'll make revival fluid for everyone" Suika nods, having a feeling Senku needs a distraction right now after seeing his wife's body.
Suika showed Senku her Nitric Acid Farm, she said" the fruit of my labor that took years with many failures along the way to. Senku said" you made your own Nitric farm with animal feces, good job. They used the same method during the Warring States Era in Japan. It does take a stupid amount of time though. You kept working at it slow and steady and in no time, you're granted to make revival fluid" he looked at her with pride" great job" Suika smiled" thank you Senku but I was only able to cook up a single dose which is why it was important to wake you up," Senku smirks" getting your revival priority straight gets you ten billion points" he gave her a thumbs up.
The two headed to the furnace and got to work. After a day he held up one revival fluid. Suika was shocked" IN A SINGLE DAY! IT TOOK ME YEARS TO MAKE ONE BOTTLE! YOUR SCIENCE SKILLS ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD SENKU!" She was so impressed by Senku, even after seven years in stone he still got it. Senku chuckles" I just used a different technique, it's ridiculously fast if you have platinum on your side. Now we need a little alcohol. It should take about a month to ferment" the two got grapes in a large bucket and started stomping on them, Suika smiled, having a blast as she smashed the grapes with Senku.
After eighteen days, the two made eighteen bottles of the revival fluid. Suika went to Kohaku first and dumps it on her face, the stone broke off Kohaku, she sat up and looked at the girl beside her" Suika...?" Suika tears up and hugs Kohaku tightly, Kohaku hugged back and cried to, very happy to see her friend again and being able to hug her after so long. They revived Ryusui and Francois, both giving Suika their gratitude; there were thirteen bottles left; all for the rest of the Kingdom of Science, so one by one they were all covered leaves and vines and de-petrified.
Ryusui looked at the stone statues of the enemies" ha-ha! What to do with our enemies is a topic for another day, for now we keep this revival party going!" Chelsea and Luna were free, crying as they thanked Suika for freeing them, Taiju, Ukyo, Gen, Chrome and Kaseki were next. Kaseki laughed" wooo-hoo-hoo! These creaky bones feel a million Drago!" He jumps around and does some handstands and backsprings" maybe if you petrify me every now and then, this old body would be a fit as a fiddle! I can continue making things until we reach our goal! Soon all of us would be old together!" Chrome thought about that" that would be bad! Maybe we could have revived Kaseki last so he could live a little longer, after all it's not like we can revive him once he is dead right?" Senku didn't say any thing about that.
Senku got on the wall behind Tsukasa and poured the revival fluid on him, Tsukasa broke out of his stone, hearing Chrome's words. Chrome took back his words" we'd never be able to fix the ship and other stuff without our master craftsman" Kaseki laughed" woo-hoo! Sounds like you wiper-snappers are counting on me! So I better stay strong!" Tsukasa looked at the scientist" where's Hyoga?" Senku nods towards the left" he's right there" Suika said" and we have one more for him!" Taiju grins" YES! Let's go! Then all of us will finally be back together!" He looked around then his big smile left his face" wait... Where's Wolf Senku...? Did she get petrified?" Senku's shoulders tensed for a second then relaxed just a bit" no, the light doesn't work on her since she is not human remember Taiju?" Taiju said" oh right.. Then she should be around right? She helped Suika make the first revival fluid to free you,"
Suika looked down" no... She wasn't with me... She was by Senku's statue, on the ground. Many bullet wounds on her chest and stomach, she succumbed to her wounds after everyone turned to stone." Everyone went quiet, Gen said softly" so Wolf's....?" Senku nods" yes.. She's dead" the girls cried, Ukyo and Ryusui took off their paper hats that Suika made to show respect to their fallen comrade. Tsukasa looked at Hyoga" he was dead first before the petrification... dead the longest, you think this will bring him back?" Senku said nothing and poured the fluid over the man with a big leaf covering his face. The cracking was slower than the others but Hyoga did break free and he was alive, Hyoga was disoriented and confused though. Chelsea said teasingly" Hyoga! Hyoga! Hyoga! Say a certain phrase for a moment like this!" Suika pointed out" you mean a thank you? There's no need for him to say it" Chelsea nudged Hyoga playfully" this isn't about gratitude, it's about saying the thing" she winks at him.
Hyoga sighs as Chelsea tilts her head to the right, he said" your work here was proper" Chelsea exclaimed" ha-ha! I love you guys!" Kohaku, Kinro, Ginro, Tsukasa and Hyoga grabbed spears that Suika made and went off to kill some animals to get food for everyone. Senku left to the hut where Wolf was and sits down, looking at her body" don't sleep for too damn long Wolf... I need you to help build a rocket so we can go confront Why-Man, god why didn't you tell me how your body reacts to when you get badly injured? Why do I have to try and guess what your alien body is doing right now..? You know I hate being stuck on something... I have to solve it no matter what but this.... I won't be able to solve it, I don't know about aliens... I never even knew they existed until you came to Earth when I broke out of my petrification..." He heard everyone talking and enjoying being alive again and the battle with Stanly and Xeno were over now and they won. Senku got up" I'll be back okay Wolf..." he kissed the side of her snout and joined the Kingdom of Science around the fire to eat.
Ryusui stood up with cup in hand" ha-ha! Starting tomorrow we'll work our way across the USA, Japan and Treasure Island. No, we'll resume our mission across the whole planet to revive the whole planet but tonight we feast to celebrate this massive victory and to toast to Wolf for being there for us and helping us reach this far. She will be missed" Senku didn't say any thing about her might waking up, he couldn't bring hope about that to the others, he ate his food in silent, glancing at the hut every so often. Suika was so happy to eat with everyone as this is her first meal with others in so long. Chrome noticed Senku's cracks were still there while everyone else's were gone" hey your fancy cracks are still there Senku," Senku rubs one of his cracks on his forehead" the erosion was preserved so it seems like these are staying. Not that I mind, if they did heal I would be naked without them honestly, Wolf also loved them so she would be disappointed if they vanished while she is away." He refused to say she was dead, she had to be just in a deep coma while her body heals itself from the wounds, he read in alien theory books when he was a kid before getting serious with science that aliens go in a deep coma to preserve their body and energy so by even a millimeter that is what Wolf is doing right now.
It was still night when everyone gathered around Xeno's statue, Senku said making a casual-funny look as he poured the bottle" he gets the freshly brewed bottle nineteen" Chrome frowns" are you sure it's wise to revive Dr. Xeno?" Senku said" he worked at NASA, he knows all about rockets and how they are made and what fuel to use. We need his experience," the stone around the man started cracking, Tsukasa said" that is correct and he won't be a problem," Chrome crossed his arms" I guess so, he is too smart to try anything funny with people like you and Kohaku but I wish Wolf was alive... she would have him pinned in seconds" Senku said" it would be more safer with Wolf yes but right now she is in deep coma" Suika said" but I felt her chest... She has no heartbeat and I felt no pulse on her neck," Senku continued staring at his former mentor's statue as it continued cracking" it is a big theory and guess but since her body is different than a human body I can only guess she is like in suspended animation which is she stopped life processes like breathing, heartbeat, pulse, metabolism without causing death. I never really pushed about her alien life, I should of at least asked her what happens to her body if it gets gravely wounded..."
Suika said" I hope she returns... it's not the same without here," Tsukasa said" we can hope and pray to the gods. Also with Stanly still in stone, he should cooperate now," Senku chuckles softly" or maybe humanity's finally evolved past playing with guns and bombs. The old world's rules don't apply, everything is ten billion percent different now." The final crack formed and Xeno was now free from his stone prison and like Senku his petrification X mark remained just not as dark as before, it was now a light outline, Senku told Xeno about the Medusa bringing Hyoga back from the dead or the very least share the theory that petrification defies death itself. Why-Man created not only a weapon that wipes out humanity but also managed to achieve humanity's greatest taboo. The Dr. Stone, our forbidden fruit is able to bring back the dead.
Gen shivers in fear" so... all of us here and any one else revived are walking down the path of immorality..." Xeno got excited: the light of immortality, it is truly elegant, gorgeously depraved science that violates the provenance of nature," Chrome was confused" depraved? That's the wrong kind of bad right? I need to tell the others!" Tsukasa stopped him: the fate of living forever would be tragic, in so many ways it's worse than death." Senku said putting his hands on his hips" we don;t know for sure if Medusa can fight off cellular decay indefinitely" Xeno added" the devices are out of battery, there's no way to run clinical trials in the present," Gen said" it's best if we keep this a secret Chrome, if newbies hear about this then they will try and get the Medusa and then all hell will break lose cause of it. Xeno looked at the dud Medusa" true dominion over life and death, Dr. Stone, any one who can control this science is well positioned to become an absolute dictator," Senku hands Xeno a earpiece earring from Treasure Island that's able to connect to the same frequency to allow Why-Man's message to be heard but when Xeno put it out, it was radio silence.
Senku hums" that nasty command 'do you wanna die' was being transmitted nonstop before our stone nap but now ever since humanity was petrified again, we haven't heard a peep from Why-Man" he points to the moon. Chrome said" we don't know his reason but one thing is clear, he is gonna keep trying to petrify humanity, he won't stop as long as humans continue to walk the Earth," Senku stated, looking at his former mentor" like I told you, we got a whole new set of rules to go along with this new world, so yeah, your dreams of being a tyrant will get you nowhere real fast" Xeno slightly frowns as he took a second to think while looking at the moon, Senku continued" every last human on Earth is immortal now but there's a price. The eventual trade off is a life sentence in Why-Man's stoney prison but I'm guessing that's not what you had in mind" Xeno sighed and looked at his fellow scientist" then I suppose we have a common name, we must journey to the moon to negotiate with Why-Man" and so another Stone World truce/alliance was made.
Everyone gathered Xeno's soldiers, everyone was properly covered, they crowded the man himself, Ryusui said" there are two ways to define Stanley Snyder's action. One that whole assault was a fully justifiable act of warfare or two it was attempted murder" he looked at the other statues" so it all comes down to our testimony. Am I wrong?" Ukyo said" when the time comes to revive him, the world will be up and running again" Gen informed Xeno" I suppose we can all testify it was the first option, that's the card we have to offer you Xeno" everyone looked at Xeno as he looked at Stanley's statue still holding a cigarette that is no longer there, he said nothing as he walked to where old items were stored and since it has not been that long, their items had survived hence why everyone was able to switch out from their leaves to their clothes even though Yuzuriha was not there.
Xeno saw Stanley's armor that held a case Xeno gave him along with matches, he sighs as he admitted" what you'd like in exchange is the full and willing cooperation of NASA's primary expert on all things rocketry. A rather elegant proportion indeed." Xeno picked up the case and matches then walked back to Stanley's statue, looking at it as if Stanley was going to respond, it was clear to the people who can read expressions that the two knew what each other was thinking. Xeno was going to work to not only keep evolution of science going but also to keep Stanley safe and Stanley is perfectly fine being locked in the stone prison to not only pay for what he did but to make sure Xeno can keep doing what he wants to do. Xeno gave the statue a long stair before placing a cigarette in Stanley's parted lips.
After giving the doctor better clothes along with his wrist length white gloves and his metal claws for his ten fingers, it was time to get to work on the rocket, it took ten years or rather over 3700 years for Senku and Xeno to join forces to build a spaceship; the first one in the Stone World" Xeno looked at the hut that he seen Suika go in with flowers" is that where your wife is Senku?" Senku said" yeah... I expect she is in suspended animation; recovering from the bullet wounds in her stomach and chest, she succumbed to her injuries after we were turned into stone" Xeno said" interesting, this is a theory?" Senku nods" I didn't push her when asking about her alien life and abilities so I am at a lost... I did ask her what happens if her body took too much damage and she never gave me an answer, she always changed the subject or we got interrupted, at first I did think she was dead but the sci-fi movies I watched when I was younger and some aliens I watched go in suspended animation to let their body, organs and blood recover and heal" Xeno hums" I see, I'll have Stanley apologize when you deem him ready to be free" Senku nods as he wrote down blueprints of the rockets.

The old world people thought Senku was slowly losing it without his wife, Wolf was still in her suspended animation, no signs of waking it, the Kingdom of Science do pray she does as they were getting worried Senku will spiral deep in his delusional of her being alive and beside him, talking. Kohaku watched as Senku was looking at a blue print of a round tank that industrial facilities had to capture and hold the toxic gases from the festering waste barrels, he looked at his right" what? Of course we will be able to make it spherical, you forget we have Kaseki to make the tank. Just watch when we make it okay Pup," Kohaku remembered Wolf telling her Senku started calling her pup after a week of meeting, so she knew Senku was talking to Wolf but in his mind since she can't see or hear her and she was worried for her friend.
After carrying heavy drums of food waste near the ship" this will be the ship's future energy" he opened the lid and everyone but Xeno plugged their nose and complained. Senku smirks as he turned to his left, Wolf was plugging her nose with her hand" a little warning before you opened that! You know my nose is ten times stronger than humans so that is worse to me than you guys" (Wolf speaking will be in italic and bold because only Senku can hear her) Senku laughed" and where's the fun in that if I gave you a warning Wolf?" Everyone stared at Senku as he was laughing at thin air beside him. Gen clears his throat" so how does this work exactly..." Senku looked at the mentalist" this is called bio fuel, any kind of organic waste does the trick, we use leaves, leftover food, even our own homemade poop! Then we gather the gas it emits when it rots" he poured more stuff in the barrel" Wolf gags and covered her nose" Senku please! For all that is holy!" Senku chuckles" kukukuku~ what's the matter Wolf can't handle some rotten food and human feces?" Wolf glared" no I can't ya jackass!" Everyone stared at Senku as he kept looking to his left and talking to thin air, Chrome said" I think he is slowly losing it..." That night Senku, Gen and Suika checked the barrel, Gen looked at Senku with nervousness" here's a question Senku... Don't we need to collect this noxious gas? Isn't that the whole point of these festering waste barrels?" Senku said" that's right which is why we're going to build a huge tank for gas storage!" Wolf blinks" like those massive round things at industrial facilities?" Senku smirks at Wolf who was standing on the left of Gen" that's right Pup!" Gen frowns, looking beside him but seeing no one, he thought' Senku's really hallucinating his wife being here... this is really heart breaking' Kaseki started making making the tank in fifteen minutes" the tank's ready!" Gen's eyes went wide" that's it?! But it's not especially round!" Senku smirks, twirling a hose" it doesn't have to be perfect" he jumps on the tank, fills it with water" we fill it up with water-" he tosses a small explosive device inside the water" and cause a nasty explosion inside" he held it the device to Wolf" would you do the honors Pup?" Wolf looked at button and clicks it but in reality Senku actually clicked the button, Suika and Gen look at each other with concern then back at the tank, it made a small explosion and it went jagged to perfectly spherical, Senku smiled proudly" see~ now it's spherical~" Kaseki laughed softly while sipping tea from wherever he got it from. Gen's eyes bulge out of his sockets" SERIOUSLY?! THAT'S HOW THEY USE TO MAKE THOSE ENORMOUS TANKS ARTERY ROUND?!"
Mecha Senku appeared" that's correct" then he disappeareed.
Wolf looked at Gen's open, flabbergasted look" I think you broke him Sen..." Senku wraps his arm around her shoulder" hmm.. I thought he had gotten immune to surprises on how things were made... After all he seen how a phone was made, a tank, a road, a ship, a freezer, cotton candy machine, upgrading the ship to" Suika stared at her mentor that had his arm up and bent like he was wrapping his arm around someone's shoulder and it broke her heart knowing he was coping with not having Wolf by his side since he was so use to her being by his side since they came to the village.
Xeno was in the lab, making a drug that will help Senku with his hallucination, he knew his protégé would hate him for this but Xeno needed Senku in his right mind a hundred percent, him talking to himself thinking he was talking to his wife was hard to watch. Xeno knew the others were worried but they were too good hearted to say any thing to their leader as they were hurting to also they were afraid Senku might snap if they try to reason to him that Wolf was still in her hut not moving and the Wolf he was talking to was in his head, the doctor sighs" forgive me Senku but we need you to focus on the mission..."
It was year 2 of Wolf's animated suspension and Senku was really losing it, his natural spiky hair was now flat against his head, in a half ponytail with string, a bit pale and skinnier than he normally is as he never ate, saying he was too busy making blueprints for the rocket. Whenever he was in his lab he would be talking to Wolf and believes she was talking back to him but to everyone else he was still talking to thin air and now he was expecting the people to talk and bring him food for Wolf. They learned how far Senku had spiraled by Kohaku when she brought one cup and plate of food, Senku turned his head away from the small experiment he was doing and saw only one plate and cup" where's Wolf's" Kohaku blinks" what about her...?" She looked confused, Senku turned his body fully to her" she needs food to," he motions beside him to an empty stool.
Kohaku frowns" Senku.. There is no one there..." He stood up" what do you mean no one is there?! Wolf is sitting right at this stool!" he points to the empty stool, he then looked at the stool" no it's not alright Wolf, you need to eat to!" Kohaku said softly" Senku.. Wolf is not sitting there... She is still in the hut.." Senku yelled at her to get out of the lab, Kohaku had never been scared in her life but this really scared her. She told everyone about Senku, Xeno frowns" he's getting worse... I need to give him this medicine...."
Next morning Xeno mixed the medicine in Senku's water, he made sure to add another plate of food and cup of water for Wolf just so Senku drinks and eats. Xeno walked over" it's because of the drug I made Senku, it helps with hallucinations, I'm sorry but you needed to be focused and not on a fake Wolf that you made from your imagination and grief" Senku looked at his former partner" you drugged me... You gave me medicine so I get cured of my hallucination?!" Xeno nods" that is correct. We need you to be at your best and your head cleared for the rocket," Senku shakes in anger" you had no right.. He takes out a sharp scalpel from his bag, everyone gasped and backed away, this was not the calm and collective Senku they knew, he was now crazy Suika cries" Senku please! Wolf wouldn't want you to hurt us or yourself!" Senku tackled Xeno and straddles him, scalpel at his throat, tears falling, his hand was shaking" give me Wolf back Xeno... Is this revenge for not reviving Stanley? Payback?" Xeno didn't show it but he was actually scared of Senku.
Xeno said" no this is not revenge, this is a concern friend and mentor worrying about you. You may have been in the right state of mind for the science of the rocket construction but mentally you were slowly losing it and if I let it go on any longer, you would stray from the mission and focus more on the hallucination of your wife" Senku's hand shook more, pressing the sharp end to Xeno's neck" you don't know what I am feeling! How much I am suffering without her! She's been the one who keeps me grounded and makes sure I rest, eat, be me... Not just a scientist... a teen that suddenly was the only hope to bring the whole Earth back to life..." His body shook, looking down" give her back... even if she was just in my head... At least she was there..." He looked at his mentor, glaring, tears in his red eyes" give her back" Taiju yelled" Senku!! This isn't you!! Please snap out of it!!" Senku ignored Taiju and raised the scalpel ready to end Xeno's life but his wrist was caught, everyone gasped.
Wolf had woken up from her long Suspended animation coma, she rubs her head and sits up, yawning" wow... that was a long nap... I must of been really injured than I thought," she saw live and dead flowers around her" oh... They must of thought I was really dead.. I need to kick my own tail for not telling them that I go into a deep coma that makes me look and feel dead when I am very injured." She heard commotion outside and Senku's yelling which was rare as he never yelled. She got up and opened the door, still in her lycanthrope form and saw people surrounding two people on the ground, she walked over and saw Senku on top of Xeno holding a scalpel against the scientist's neck and when Senku was about to drive the small sharp tool down Xeno's face, Wolf hurried over and grabbed Senku's small wrist" Senku! What are you doing?!" Senku's eyes widen and looked at Wolf" Wolf..." Wolf stared at Senku with her amber eyes" Senku..." Senku shakes" no... no... You're not real... It's my hallucination again, the drugs must be wearing off..." Kohaku stepped forwards" it's not Senku, we see her now, she is real" Senku drops the scalpel and covered his ears" NO!! WOLF IS DEAD! IT'S BEEN TWO YEARS!!"
Wolf frowns and picks Senku up" I'm really here Sen... I'm sorry for making you wait for so long," Senku touched her furry chest and felt the warmth of the fur and felt her heart beat beating again, his red eyes widen and looked at Wolf" Wolf... You're really here....?" Wolf nods" I am here Senku.. I'm so sorry" Tsukasa helped Xeno up, Xeno brushed the dust off her coat" you missed a lot Wolf. We'll catch you up later. Please take care of Senku for now, he needs you right now" Wolf nods" of course, I am sorry for making you all wait for me. I'll explain later also. I'm taking Senku to the hot springs" Kohaku hurried over with a Hinoki filled with soap, shampoo and small rags" here" Wolf takes it in her big paw while cradling Senku like he was a baby" thanks Kohaku" she left to the hot springs.

Her black hair reached the middle of her back with two natural purple highlights on the side bangs, slightly tan" I'm really sorry Senku. It was my fault for not telling you what my alien body does when it gets too many wounds... This was on me" she lets him lean back on her while she washes his hair" why don't you tell me what all you been up to." So Senku told Wolf about Suika reviving after seven years and that the Medusa can defy death, explaining about Hyoga coming back from the dead after being shot multiple times way before Senku activated the Medusa and that they are now making a rocket to blast off to the moon to confront Why-Man. He said" and now Xeno is our ally as he knows more about rocket engineering than I since he worked at NASA. Stanley will stay stone until we are ready for him, Xeno had no objections to that."
Wolf used the Hinoki to dump water on Senku's head to get rid of the suds from his hair" I see, you been very busy while I was asleep. Impressive Suika did that all by herself, you really taught her a lot since we entered the village" Senku said" she did many trial and errors, I praised her on not giving up even though I know she wanted to since she was only 12 years old and alone." Wolf continues cleaning Senku's body. Senku looked down at the water" I missed you... Why didn't you tell me you go into a deep coma that makes you feel and look dead" Wolf sighs" it slipped my mine and with the Stone War going on, we just didn't have enough time and when we do we just get interrupted and it slips my mind again. I am sorry Senku, I didn't mean for you to go on without me for two years." He said" it wasn't easy, I went to the hut that Suika built around you every day, talking to you and explaining the plans like you were going to respond... Then after a year in a half, apparently I was slowly losing it and the others said I was always turning to my left or right and talking as if someone was there... I said pup or your name so they immediately knew I was talking to an imaginary you."

I didn't know I was that injured until after you were turned to stone then I fell to the ground beside you and apologized for breaking your last wish of me helping Suika make the revival fluid" Senku sighs" it's fine... You didn't know you were that injured, But it would of been nice to know that your body shuts down until you are healed" Wolf sighs" yeah, that was my fault" she strokes his wet hair gently" I am here and I won't leave you any more, I promise." He looked at her" you better not, I don't think my mind and heart can take another absence of you." Wolf smiled and kissed him softly, he held her wrists gently and leans into the kiss, A kiss long overdue. She pulled away" I promise to be careful and not get as injured as I was during the battle and no more secrets about my alien abilities, I'll tell you everything while we build the rocket" Senku said" I'll hold you to that" the two smiled softly, enjoying their company after a two year separation, Senku held Wolf as he leans against the rocks and looked up at the crescent moon" this will be our biggest project yet, get excited" he smirks, slowly going back to the way he was; the old Senku. Wolf giggles" I am and can't wait" she looked at the moon to, stroking the back of his hand with her thumb.
