As a kid I wet the bed up until I was 16. It was a humiliating existence, especially if I slept over a friend's house or had a bad day the previous day, only to wake up cold and wet and embarrassed. My mom couldn't not know, especially since she raised me and it never went away, no matter how much she potty trained me or I went to the bathroom before bed.

I don't know what happened for it to eventually go away, especially so late in my life, but nonetheless I'm happy about it not being a problem anymore, especially as a 19 year old.

That was one reason I was turned away from diapers. It reminded me of how I was constantly a late bloomer either because of my learning disability or because everything just seemed to come to me late-even though I was born wicked early.

I want to feel more comfortable in my body and in my mind, so I wanted to combat my childhood humiliation by experimenting. I haven't tried diapers or pull ups for my regression irl yet, because I still live with my mom and have no money, but I feel more emotionally and mentally ready to at least consider them.

It brings me comfort to think about. I don't need them. I won't use them. But I feel comfortable knowing it's okay to use them, considering my development and how young I tend to feel when I'm little. I like to feel secure and comfy, so maybe it's okay to try something new, even if it's a bit silly to me.
