if someone isnt feeling their best (mentally) my best tip for them is to go admire something. everytime i have suicidal thoughts or im mad or sad or any emotion that doesnt feel good i just go outside and admire things like the way cars have been specially made to be able to move or how that house hasnt fallen over and how well its been engineered to stay up or how the road stays together so well or how nice the concrete is and how someone made the sidewalk thinking about how people need someplace safe to walk on or how beautiful that tree is and how wonderful it is that it can make shade or its growing and alive. doing this genuinely makes me feel 1000x better after a bad day
