Sleepless Angels is an ongoing urban fantasy interactive fiction novel that takes place in the world of The Lure of the Gallows. This game will be fully released on itch.io on a chapter-by-chapter basis using the Twine format:
In Los Despiertos, the city of the sleepless, monsters rule the streets and leave the humans to lurk in the shadows⌠or be consumed by the violence of the beasts.
Luckily, youâre not human.
That may be your only saving grace when your vampiric older sibling, Blue, vanishes in broad daylight. Itâs not unusual - they are fairly infamous for their sudden âtripsâ - except thatâs when the bodies start turning up. Vampires, old and young alike, turn up freshly dead without warning, their lungs filled with silver dust.
Blueâs vampire coven is convinced that they are related to the slaughter, and as fear brews and the manhunt for your rogue sibling begins, youâre pulled into the fray: in this city, it is killed or be killed.
You have no intent on dying. At least, not without answers.
Play as one of three supernatural races: a vampire like your sibling, Blue, a shapeshifter, or a Manipulator. Each race has their own route-locked RO, side-storylines, and unique endings.
Balance your amateur detective work with being a stand-in guardian for your younger sister, Briar, and your specific supernatural responsibilities.

Mercedes âMercyâ // Matheo âTheoâ Delvalle - Delvalle is the vampire that changed the course of your life by turning Blue into a vampire a handful of years ago. Their history is a blurred line between humanity and monster, yet they seem strangely devoted to helping you find your sibling, even at the risk of betraying their fellow vampires. Midas - The last person to see Blue alive, Midas is a vague shadow of the city itself. She is a Metal Manipulator by trade and a contract thief by dusk. They seem inclined to help you in your search, but according to everyone you know, to trust her is as safe as balancing on a knifeâs edgeâŚ
