In the hopes of meeting his idol and realising his dream of becoming a singer he applies for The Voice, knowing that Adam is judging. Adam is immediately taken in by Taehyung’s heartfelt performance of Payphone and chooses him for his team. Will the romance blossom from here?

Adam/Taehyung ! VoiceAU: (2/?) Taehyung is insecure about his appearance due to online criticisms from other Maroon 5 fans. Adam discusses these insecurities in an interview in the hopes of preventing further cyberbullying. Taehyung is unable to perform on the next show due to his low self esteem, and he returns home to the farm. Adam is crushed that Taehyung is no longer a part of his team and makes a heartfelt gesture on air in the hopes that Taehyung will be watching. Fortunately, he is, and he facetimes Adam to tell him how much it meant to him. It inspires him to return to the competition, and he passionately performs House of Wolves by My Chemical Romance to show his haters he has returned better than ever. Adam is blown away by the sheer power of his performance and compliments him profusely.

Adam/Taehyung ! VoiceAU: (3/?) Taehyung returns to The Voice with renewed passion after the positive response to his last performance and Adam’s support. In an effort to show his new body positivity after his past insecurity, he performs Woohoo by his favourite artists Christina Aguilera and Nicki Minaj. Adam is completely blown away by the sex appeal, but unfortunately netizens criticise him and accuse him of compensating for lack of talent by showing his body. TMZ features a defamatory article, and Taehyung then declares that if people don’t like his performances, he will give up on his dream. Adam is heartbroken as he knows if Taehyung leaves The Voice for good they will have no opportunities to grow closer and is outraged by his knowledge of Taehyung’s potential to win the competition. Adam speaks out in another tell-all interview about the body positivity movement and condemns body shaming.

She announces she’s a fan and Taehyung is thrilled to hear this, making a vlog about his reaction to the news. Fellow The Voice coaches notice Adam is feeling down, and question him about his low mood, to which Adam reveals he is feeling a bit threatened by Meghan and Taehyung’s newfound friendship, as he feels he cannot compare to Meghan’s looks. Taehyung is heartbroken to hear that Adam feels insecure in their blossoming relationship, and performs a heartfelt rendition of PEACH by LAY to let him know how he feels about Adam’s smouldering looks.
