Do you think I'm broken?

connor had no idea what he was expecting but that wasn’t it. “pregnant.” he said quietly as he slowly nodded his head, the information sinking in slowly. “how are you feeling?” he asked her. three months was a long time that she had been dealing with it alone.

“Scared, worried, freaking out a little.” Or a lot, “For all I know I could be carrying twins, and that’s a pretty high chance in my family. And with twins comes the merge and that’s just worrisome all around.” She was hoping like hell that twins would skip a generation and she was only carrying one. Not to mention she had a psychotic uncle walking around the town that was known for killing family members - babies included. “A little embarrassed that I don’t know who the father is, but other than that. I’m coming to terms with it, so okay I guess.”

If today had taught him anything, it was that he was never having kids. When one of the doctors had mentioned needing a babysitter, he’d volunteered without thinking it through - mostly to get on their good side for when the time came for him to graduate and start working there. The problem was the kid never wanted to sit still, and apparently thought running up to someone else and throwing their arms around their legs was the best idea ever. “Sorry they’re…” He started running up to the person the child was all but surgically attached to at that point. “Apparently super full of energy today, gotta love kids right?” @aeternumstarters​

Lizzie didn’t hate kids, in fact it was the opposite. She loved kids, the pure innocence they carried around with them was refreshing to see. But she was thrown off when small arms wrapped around her legs tightly, “Oh.” She looks down to the kid with a laugh before awkwardly letting her arms fall around the kid, gently patting their back. “Sounds like you have a handful today.” Lizzie looked up to the other as he approached them.

it was early morning when hope had decided to go for a run in the woods in wolf form. the auburn haired woman never really had enough time to do it nowadays especially with her work schedule so she usually woke up before break of dawn and went for a run for about half an hour. finishing her run, hope covered herself in one of landon’s spare shirts when she noticed the other approaching nearby, “i did not expect to see anyone else out here. especially at 6:30am,”

“Did you have sex in the woods?” The question falls in a teasing manner, looking around for Landon. “What a scandalous step for Landon.” Though, Lizzie knew for sure that that wasn’t the case. She’s known Hope for too long to actually believe that. “What can I say, I’m an early morning riser and I needed some fresh air.”

“you wanting me to promise not to freak out is kind of making me freak out liz.” connor said to the woman as he took a deep breath, worried about what she was going to say, his mind running a hundred miles per second at this point. he could feel the lump beginning to form in his throat when he heard the words fall from her lips, swallowing it after a minute. “pregnant?”

“Yeah I kind of realized how redundant it was as I said it.” If she was being told to promise not to freak out she’d do the very thing. As she gauged his reaction, her breath hitched in her throat before she gives a small nod. “Yeah.” The breath follows as she allows herself to breathe. “I’m three months along.” As she spoke about it, her eyes drifted to the slightly swollen belly. Nothing too noticeable, but if you knew you knew. “I don’t really want to pitch that whole stereotypical pitch girls pitch to the guys about pregnancies and everything.” Especially since she wasn’t sure who’s it was. “I just figured you should know.”

“i poisoned every last one of them, it’s my diabolical plan to take out mystic falls.” annabelle joked with the blonde, as she was anything but diabolical. she took a look at her and knew that nate’s sister worked in the bakery but it was always nice to eat something you didn’t have to make yourself even if it was her job. “you’re more than welcome to have another one if you’d like. i have plenty.”

Lizzie licked the excess frosting off her lips before allowing a laugh to emit, head tilting to the side “They always did say it’s the quiet ones you have to look out for.” In the cases Lizzie’s seen first hand, the term was more correct than anything. But in this case, she was only teasing. “You caught me at a good time when it comes to sweets.” Especially today, since she had a sweet tooth. 

“Do you think they had soft serve back in that other dimension?” he mused as he took a lick of the dessert. Alex let out a long sigh and shook his head a little dismissively, embarrassed to have even brought up that topic of conversation. “Sorry, that was stupid. I just think about it sometimes– I wish I could go there. A clean slate sounds like heaven right now.”

“I’ll just pretend you didn’t ask that.” Lizzie disregarded her brothers question. To some extent, she couldn’t blame him for wondering. He had no idea what the other world was like, all he knew was this town. “What did you do to warrant a wanting a clean slate?”

connor had just finished his shift but he tended to spend majority of his time at the hospital anyway, helping out where he could, he really didn’t have much else to be doing. the man was still dressed in his scrubs when the familiar blonde stepped in front of him. “lizzie –– hey.” the man said as he looked down at her, brow raised slightly when he could notice something was off. “yeah yeah of course.”

“Promise you won’t like... freak out or anything, because I’m kind of already panicking and I think the nurses are going to get annoyed if I keep coming here for every little thing.” She should really talk to her mom, her mom always had a way of calming her down. Her dad did too, but she had a feeling his reaction would be vastly different. “I mean you can, just... don’t get mad, at me.” She adds before her hands fall to her sides. “I’m pregnant,” There was no really going around that, “And there’s a chance it could be yours.” Without really realizing, Lizzie had taken a small step back awaiting his reaction.

Since the blonde found out she was pregnant she’s been panicking over just about everything. Ranging from continuing on the Gemini Coven’s merge, overthinking small pains that mean literally nothing, and to telling Connor and... fuck what was his name? Lizzie shook the thought away as pushed herself off the hospital bed, trying to take the nurses advice into mind. Breathe, don’t stress about much, eat healthy and everything will be fine. Fixing her shirt as she walked out of the room, she looks up just in time to catch herself from running into someone. “Connor.” Her eyes fall on him as her heart rate picks up a little, “Uh, hey. Do you have a minute to talk?” Nervous? Lizzie? What has gotten into her. Oh, right.

     ‘ i think you look great,’ she smiled from her spot leaned back on the bed, giving an approving nod to the other. esme had missed this , having someone she could confide in && just simply hang out with. she wasn’t the most outgoing person so it meant a lot when the other had asked her opinion. ‘ honestly — you kill that outfit. ‘

“It’s missing something...” She couldn’t put her finger on what she was missing but she knew it was something. She scanned the outfit in the mirror once more before her eyes fell to her belly, she was starting to show but only a little. Nothing that warranted needing bigger clothes thank god. “What do you think?” She asks, turning to face Hope’s little sister.

“so i may have baked way too many cupcakes. and i don’t know what to do with all of them.” annabelle stood with a tray, walking around the town square. she had gotten the urge to bake last night and it had turned the kitchen into a mess. but she’d clean it up later. totally. if not, she was sure her parents would remind her. she held up the tray to anybody who passed by. “want one?”

As the tray was held up in her direction, Lizzie looked to the cupcakes before looking up to Annabelle. The blonde slowly reached for a cupcake, eyes coming a playful narrow; the truth was, yes. She’d gladly take one. Sweets seemed to be something she was eating as of late, which was a win lose situation given she worked in a bakery. “What did you do to them?” The question wasn’t serious and it was only proven further when she took a bite.

After dying Kai no longer ignore the emotions that he got from the merge with his younger brother, Luke.  The only problem that after a long day of taking in account the little annoying voice in the back of his head was exhausting.  

So instead of taking the usual way home the heretic parked his car and started walking in the dimly lit street.  There wasn’t many people out this late.  It felt like a breath of relief not to have think about how each step might affect another person.  Not that he was nearly that considerate of other people.  It was more not flaying the irritating man driving like an old lady.  

He was ignoring the world around him when he felt someone behind him.  Too close.  He whipped around and pushed the person into the building next to him. @aeternumstarters​

Lizzie decided to stay at work a little later than usual, the amount of orders they had was almost insane and she knew she was on a deadline not to mention she’d need the money in the next coming months. The siphon got everything she needed ready for tomorrow, cleaned up whatever mess she made and made her way out - making sure to lock up before officially leaving. As she was walking home, her thumb hovered over the two names in her phone. One of which was the father of her child, though she didn’t know who and lord knows she didn’t know how to bring this up. Her attention was ripped from her phone when her back hit the wall hard. Her eyes fixated on her assailant, one hand pushing up against his chest as the bracelet glowed a bright red, siphoning just enough magic from it to push Kai off of her. “Do not, and I repeat do not ever touch me like that again.”
