I've finally finished scanning and cleaning Volume 3 of Magia Archive! Because digital scans of the full artbook have already been published on the main PMMM wiki, I didn't feel the need to scan the artbook in its entirety. I did scan every page, but I focused more on the character artwork, sprites, and Doppel pages rather than the Live 2D models that are already available in high quality on the wiki.
Feel free to share these scans! If you reupload them off Tumblr, I would appreciate a credit and a link back to this post. I'm probably going to upload these scans to the PMMM wiki myself.

Nice to see that the Oriko Magica artist still can't do ass/boob shots well lol
One thing I kind of admire and also hate about the Oriko artist is that she will keep trying and trying to do these dynamic and interesting poses with flowy clothes but she almost always ends up drawing an incomprehensible mess instead
I think I've used this example before, but look at Hanna's 5* art from Record:
I can't tell if that's her hip or her butt. It looks like a malformed tumor that's growing on her side.
As a less fanservicey example-- This is final Oriko but I have no idea what's going on. The pose is trying to be dynamic, the clothing flowing, but nothing MAKES SENSE dammit. What's going on with her chest, what's happening with her hair, just... what. The more you look, the more you see details that don't work whatsoever.
It's not like it's always bad, I think this Komaki one looks pretty good:
Good use of black and whites to keep it from looking too busy. The movement looks really good, I think the pose looks really nice, and it's bursting with character. The clothes even make sense! It's not like she's always bad at this!
But then you have stuff like this:
At first it looks fine, Oriko and Kirika look cute so what's the problem? But the more you look at it, the more confusing it becomes, especially Kirika. Like hold on, we can see Kirika's soul gem which is on her back. What... What angle are we looking at here? I have no idea what her hips are doing. Why is everyone's clothing so WRINKLY. There's so much extra detail, it becomes super distracting.
Anyways I don't want to rag on her too much. I'm getting back into art myself and it's hard!! And I respect the fact that she doesn't just draw a person 3/4 to the left while standing still in a boring pose. But like... girl why are you making this so complicated. I fully believe her art would improve 75% if she stop trying so hard to make it look dramatic.
Could I request either a Sudachi Sawa in her casual pink outfit or ur favorite Puella Magi character in overalls? I adore overalls

I also redid the walkie talkie sisters cos I didn't like my first version of them. I would've done a fancier drawing but i couldnt get it right so just concepties for now
