its so sad that my mom is one of those people that just can’t ever stop hating the way she looked. Like the family all knows never to let her at any of the old photos because she will destroy the ones of her. Its bizarre how she can understand the importance of a photo despite how bad someone may feel they look in it but as soon as its her, even at her age and maturity, she can’t help but care so much about how she looks in it that she’ll destroy it. which i bring this up only because every once in a while I remember that my mom’s eyes before mid adulthood were straight the fuck up..yellow. its jarring to see in the very rare photo where its visible. They were literally liquid gold
