Ingredients:

Fire-safe dish

Lighter

Incense

Blue candle

Lavender

Ginger root

Elderberries

Osha root

salt

1. Cleanse your space.

2. Melt the bottom of your candle to your firesafe dish so it stands up on its own.

3. Around the outer edge of your dish, in a circle, place your salt. Say, “this is a barrier to protect my work from any negative energies that may interfere.”

4. In no particular order, dumb your herbs inside that salt circle. I like to dump them on top of the candle so they scatter around it decently well. This is casual tho, no one really cares

5. place your osha root specifically facing away from you. this is to flush out the negative energy and sending it careening away to where it can’t clog your pores anymore.

6. now is a good time to pray to any deities you worship. I asked Lord Apollon to watch over the spell and guide it to where it needs to be.

7. Light the candle with your intentions and spend a while with it. visualize what it looks like for you to flush out that negative energy. chant things like, “in (deity)’s name, i am free from the negativity plaguing me” and “may i rid myself of the negative energy around my soul”.

8. let the candle burn down. so mote it be.
