Hello anon! Firstly, thank you! I’m incredibly flattered to hear you like what I have here. It makes me so happy knowing that others are enjoying the content I’m writing, too. (I have to wonder how you guys even find me, actually.)

I completely don’t mind if you follow; I already have a few non-rp blogs following, and it still stuns me that people are interested in what I post here, enough to follow from personal blogs!

“Thank you again for letting me stay the night. I thought it would be better after all to leave earlier, but I didn’t want to wake you -- not when you look like you haven’t been sleeping well anyway. I can only hope you don’t feel terribly lonely waking up to an empty home, but if that is the case, just know that I’ll be back soon enough.

I know it’s a bit awful of me to leave without a proper goodbye, but perhaps I’ll bring you something good to make up for it? I think I have an idea of your tastes by now...

A long note this time. Two sticky notes, one attaching at the bottom of the other.

“I wasn’t sure how long you were going to sleep, but I had an idea you’d wander into the kitchen as soon as you woke. I dropped by just to see if you had keeled over yet. Letting myself in, obviously. Honestly, though. You can’t tell me you’re bedridden and then expect me not to w” 

A word is vigorously scratched out here.

“check on you. Anyway, I left some medicine on your bedside table, and there’s soup on the stove. (Sick people can’t taste anyway so it should be fine.) Report in after you’ve eaten and all that.

And tell me sooner next time!

“Sorry to leave you with a note; something came up all of a sudden so I let myself out. I figured you’d see this soon. Nonetheless, thank you for the tea. I enjoyed our talk. Despite this rudeness today, if you’ll have me again, I’ll bring the book I mentioned. I hope you’ll find it at least a fraction as interesting as I did.

“I appreciate your hospitality, but I think I’m feeling well enough to attempt my way back home. I wouldn’t feel right troubling you any more than is necessary, any more than I already have. Thank you for showing such kindness to a stranger. Should we ever meet again, I will remember this.”

A standard sized sticky note, cursive pressed together in tight lines of black ink.

“Thanks for having me over so late. And sorry for falling asleep… I hope you weren’t working all night and were able to get some rest, too. As thanks, I made breakfast. I wish it weren’t just eggs, but you’re out of milk. Maybe I’ll bring some next time?

P.S. I’m almost done with this book, so have your next recommendation ready.

It seems to be a Hoshidan word, and he hesitates to admit that he doesn’t know its meaning. Nor does he know anyone from that kingdom, either...
