Her cheeks darkened some then as he offered, though she only nodded. “I’m pretty far out, but if you want, yeah. I’m this way.” She nodded off in a direction, her hands going into pockets in her jacket.

Normally, she would decline offers like this, but there were enough people around someone would remember them talking, and that many people only made her want to leave even more so. Someone in the crowd was giving off danger vibes… but she couldn’t pinpoint who…

After taking a few steps away from the bar, she looks back to him, “Oh, I’m Rayne by the way.”

Rook shrugged. “I’m headed that way too, so it’s no trouble.” He said, adjusting his guitar on his back. He nodded and smiled. “Nice to meet you. I’m Rook.” He said. He started walking in the direction she had motioned. It was lucky that his apartment was in that direction too. It wasn’t often that he spent any time talking to patrons, but something was definitely different about her and he wasn’t sure what or why. He was still pretty lost in how to live the way he was now. He was making due, but it wasn’t exactly a life of luxury or comfort. 

Even as they moved away from the bar, though the feeling of danger faded, it wouldn’t shake completely, nearly causing a frown to paint across her lips, though she refused to let her face give away that something was wrong. Her smile only softened as they walked, and she kept her guard up... if only for a while longer.
