Just a little idea I wanted to share with everyone. Itâs something Iâve been sitting on for almost a year. Hope you enjoy â¤ď¸
Warning: did not proofread.
School is really easy for y/n. When the professors assign any kind of homework you finish it the same day. Sometimes even essays. Itâs almost too easy for you, so you decide to help others with their school work. And by help you mean offering to do their work for a price. At first you started off low. Simple summaries of a chapter in any classes text book for a galleon or two. But as word spread across campus that youâll do peoples school work for them for a bit of money your prices got higher.
At one point you did five essays in one day and you still managed to be top of all your classes. But no one really knows that youâve mastered all your subjects. Youâre basically the smartest student in the school, smarter than Hermione granger, yet you donât rub it in peoples faces. Even though students pay you to do their work and it gets high marks it never really clicks in their minds that youâre the best student at Hogwarts.
You started your little business in your second year and after three years youâre basically keeping the students at Hogwarts from flunking out. Itâs an unspoken rule that no one tells the professors about you doing their work because nearly the entire school would get in trouble for cheating and you would get detention until you graduate, but that still never stopped anyone from going to you when they had an assignment that they donât want to do.
âPlease can you help me. I forgot all about this essay Snape gave us and I canât fail. My mum will kill me.â Ron Weasley begged you. You were outside the great hall before breakfast when he had stopped you and asked for your help.
âWhen is it due?â You asked. Ron and his friends never came to you for help with their school work, they had granger for that. This is actually the first theyâve heard of you. His brothers Fred and George told them about you when he was trying to figure out what to do about his potions essay.
âTomorrow. I know itâs last minute but I-â. you cut him off before he could continue.
âOf course I can do it,â you start as you watch him visibly relax. âfor 20 galleons.â The gingers eyes widen after you finish your statement. âWhat?â He begins to get bit angry. âI donât have that much money, and you donât charge that much for an essay anyway. Why are you upping the price?â He nearly exclaims as he crosses his arms in disbelief.
âWell since itâs due tomorrow I have to make accommodations to my schedule to do your school work on top of my own. And because I just want to.â You state. Once Ron realized that you wonât budge on your price he started to beg defeatedly. âPlease I really need this essay done Iâll get you the money as soon as I can.â
âYou have until the end of the day otherwise youâre on your own.â And with that he nodded and ran off. It was still early in the morning so you figured that would be long enough for him. You have a free period so youâll be able to do the essay and your work at that time. Even though he hasnât paid you yet you did it anyway just to get ahead in everything. It actually shocked you when after dinner Ron pulled you to the side and handed you the money. âWhereâd you get the money so quickly?â You asked curiously as you counted it to make sure itâs all there. âI owe a favor to someone. Now will you please help me with this potions essay?â
He asked as you were putting the money into your bag and pulled out the assignment. âSure. Here you go one potions essay.â
âWoah when did you- how did you-?â
He began to ask but you cut his off telling him not to worry about it and you went your separate ways to your respective common rooms.
Unbeknownst to you and the rest of the students, a few professors were getting suspicious of the work they were getting from the students. The handwriting on some of the assignments didnât match up, and were comparably similar with assignments turned in from other students. However none of the professors were as suspicious about it as Professor Snape. Heâs been noticing this abnormality for the past two years and when he got this exceptionally written essay from the exceptionally dim witted Ronald Weasley he decided to try to follow the paper trail.
Gathering the work from many different students that displayed the similar handwriting as well as essays that were constructed similarly. The way most of the works were structured was similar, yet none of it was comparable to works turned in previously from these students. And this essay that Mr. Weasley turned in is most definitely not his doing. The writing alone proves that as Mr. Weasley messy penmanship is not prevalent on the parchment. That and this essay is utter perfection. This best out of the whole class.
It was getting late as Professor Snape sorted through the works. He was just about to retire when he finally started to notice consistency of the handwriting in one of his students. He even noticed the structural integrity of the essays in her line of school work consistent with the rest of these other students school work. Itâs the work of y/n y/l/n.
He gathered his findings and went to Minervaâs office to share with her his discoveries.

Hey everyone. Thank you for reading my fic. Iâve been sitting on this idea for a while so I just started writing it out, but Iâm not sure where I want to go from this point so Iâm leaving it open to whoever wants to finish the story. Please give me credit for the original idea though. Thank you and have a good day/evening/night đ

Breaking in
Part 3 :)
When you came to you werenât sure where you were, yet you were comfortable. A soft plushness underneath you was lulling you back to sleep. Youâre unconscious state nulling your surroundings as you tried to turn over. Something was stopping you though. You couldnât turn fully because your hand was stuck in something, hearing a metallic clink each time you tried to bring your arm to you.
This was slowly pulling you back to reality but still not fully there. Your eyes half way open as you squinted to look at what has your hand stuck.
It was shiny and silver. Your mind is still trying to decipher dream from reality. And this silver thing is helping your senses slowly come back to you. A handcuff? This is a handcuff. Apprehension settles in your mind as sleep fades out.
Your eyes are open now, no longer squinting from your dreamlike state, looking around you acknowledging that youâre in a bed and in a room. A motel room, not the one in Dimock though. This is a different motel, a sort of nicer one than Dimockâs. You try not to move loudly in case someone is present in the room. Itâs a good thing youâre so cautious because as soon as you lifted your head to scan the room you spotted floppy haired âSammyâ sitting at the desk across from the bed youâre laying in, luckily his back is facing you. He looks to be asleep.
Perfect.
You discretely lifted your hand to your hair trying to find the bobby pin. Youâve never picked a lock like this before, but how hard could it be? It looks easy in the movies so it canât be that hard.
Turns out picking this lock is very difficult. You have no idea how to do this. When you pushed the hair pin into the hole of the lock you though jabbing and twisting would work, but obviously it didnât. It was also loud, which caught the attention of âSammyâ which is just what you needed. Note the sarcasm.
He looked towards you in the chair as you were twisting the hair pin some more thinking it might work, it didnât by the way, yet it didnât stop him from quickly jumping up and running to you when he caught on to what you were attempting to do and snatched the pin from your fingers
âHey! Give that back!â Maybe heâll be nice and let you keep trying.
He gave you an quizzical look and scrunched his eyebrows, telling you with his face thatâs not going to happen.
âWhat? No Iâm not going to give it back to you.â He stated a bit irritably.
âBu-â you started as you sat up but a sharp pain stopped you from continuing causing a groan to slip out of your mouth.
âJust take it easy.â he was speaking to you softly with sort of a pitiful look in his eyes.
Take it easy. Is this guy serious??? âThe guy who kidnapped me is telling me to take it easy?â You grit through your teeth while still hissing in pain and looking at him with a mixture of fear and anger. âLet me go.â You demand. The ache in your side doesnât let up as you clutch it, realizing you wonât be able to fight him in this condition. Then the memories from last night hit you. Your boss stabbed you, quite literally, in the back. The last thing you remember was Sam aiding you as you were bleeding out, then darkness.
Letting out a whimper of pain you curl onto your side in hopes that itâll help ease the ache. âSammyâ turned around and you watched him as he grabbed a cup of water and a bottle of pills. âHere take these, itâll help with the pain.â
You stared at him for a moment not trusting that you should take them. You donât know what they could be or what this guys intentions are. âItâs just ibuprofen.â Sammy explained after seeing your hesitation. You looked at his face for a moment trying to figure if he was lying, but he seemed genuine so you slowly lifted your hand to grab the pills.
He helped you sit up as you put the pills in your mouth and aided you in lifting the cup of water to your mouth to take a sip. When he took the cup from you and placed it on the nightstand he sat on the bed next to you while you just stared at him.
âSo.. whatâs your name?â
You didnât want him to know who you were, but the man saved your life. The least you could do was give him your name. âY/nâ
âNice to meet you. Iâm Sam by the wayâ he said in a gently voice.
You softened a bit after he said that. Heâs being really nice to you, which is strange. You hadnât expected him to be such a nice person. âI thought your name was Sammy.â
He scrunched his eyebrows in confusion âwhat? How did you-â
âThat other guy called you that. And you called him Dean. I figured that was your names.â A look of understanding crossed his face as he awkwardly smiled and laughed âYeah uh, heâs the only one that calls me that. Thatâs my brother.â
You looked away from him as you nodded. This is getting a little weird for you, having a casual conversation with some guy you barely even know while handcuffed to the bed. âSo whyâd you steal our car?â
âYour car?â You said as you looked back up at him. âThat was yours?â
âYeah, well itâs my brothers. He loves that car thatâs how we found you. Heâs been trying to track it down since you stole it... I just want to know why you took it.â
âOh.â You paused to take in the information. âI took it because I like it. And, also, because I needed a car. Why do you have my cuffed to the bed?â
He smiled a bit at your question. âWell we wanted to talk to you but you were pretty brutal last time so we took precautions.â
âLast time you had a gun to my head and a knife on my neck, so can you blame me for fighting back.â Your rebuttal shocked him. You can still see the bruise on his face where your fist landed. âYeah sorry about that.â He paused. âDo you have anyone you can call. Itâll be hard taking care of that stab wound by yourself.â
You paused to think for a moment. Should you tell this stranger anything? Itâs not like you know anyone willing to help you and telling this man that youâre currently homeless isnât the brightest of ideas. Plus you just needed to get out of these cuffs so you can get out of there and hopefully never see these men again. You needed a diversion and the pressure in your bladder gave you an idea.
âI have to pee.â You blurted out. You couldnât read the expression on Samâs face, however, you continued. âCan you take this off so I can use the bathroom?â He looked uncertain, but he quickly stood and fished for the key for the cuffs in his pocket. âRight. Sorry..â he stated rather awkwardly. As he unlocked the cuff around your wrist you prayed there was a window in the bathroom and that you were on the ground floor of the building.
Sam helped you stand from the bed and walked you to the bathroom and you closed the door behind yourself and locked it. You hurried to the toilet because, well, you actually needed to use it and after you finished up you looked around to check for a window. Luck is definitely on your side today because there was one but itâs one of those weird awning windows that opens from the bottom. Itâll be difficult the maneuver your way out of it especially with this wound on your side.
As you opened the squeaky window as quietly as you could there was a knock on the door. âHey you alright in there?â Samâs muffled voice asked through the door. This prompted you to move quicker, lifting a leg up and stuck it out the window as much as you could while bracing your hands on the sides. You used your other leg to bounce up and swing it over so that you were sitting on the window casing. The quick movement caused a sharp pain to shoot through your side eliciting a low groan hoping Sam wouldnât hear you struggling. Another knock came from the door, this time sounding more urgent as Sam asked, once more if you were okay with slight panick in his voice.
Your breath grew shallow as you looked down. You were on the first floor but the window was pretty high up on the wall. You cluched your side tightly preparing your self for the jump knowing you were going to feel the pain from it once you hit the ground. You took a deep breath as the knocking on the door turned to banging and quickly jumped to the ground.
Your feet hit the ground first and the momentum from the jump had you falling on your side and you let a low grunt of pain escape your lips as the shock from landing traveled to your aching injury. Taking in a few breaths to calm the pain you slowly got up and rushed towards the corner of the building to hide from Sam in case he breaks through the door. You could still hear him beating it down.
Looking around quickly trying to figure out what to do now you spotted people walking around on the walkways across the street. You didnât know where you were and you needed to blend in quickly before Sam figures out youâre not in the bathroom anymore. So you urgently walked across the road towards a group of pedestrians successfully blending in with them then made a right turn with more people idly walking by. You kept your head down as you kept walking further and further away from the motel, still clutching your side.
You had been walking for two hours on some highway with no destination in mind as you heard the rumble of a car behind you. Turning around you looked to see the car approaching and you lifted your hand with your thumb up hoping to hitch a ride, but the car kept going and your grumbled under your breath as you kept walking. You werenât sure where you were headed, yet you hoped you would never see the two strange men again. If that crazy woman was using you to get to them they had to be highly dangerous and you didnât need anymore danger in your life. So you kept walking to the next town over. Making a plan of stealing another car in the night and trying to get back on your feet.

Breaking In
Part 2
You woke up to the bright sun as sweat dripped down your forehead. You shouldâve left a window cracked or something, itâs hot as hell. A drop of sweat roll down your face as you sat up to check the time.
Itâs almost twelve which means you gotta get going before they catch up to you. They might be following you, so leaving now would be your best option. You jumped back to the drivers seat, started up the car, and drove away as quickly as you could.
I was in the room before them. Whatâs the big deal with those weirdos? Itâs not like I had a gun pointed at their heads or anything. You told yourself that trying to convince yourself that they over reacted, but you couldnât put it all on them. A random person was in their room. They probably thought you were watching them while they slept. A cold shiver ran up your spine as you processed this. You just became fully aware of why they reacted the way they did, I mean imagine waking up to someone you donât know and have never seen before in your life sneaking around your room in the dead of night. They behaved the way any sane person wouldâve in this situation.
You drove a few more hours crossing state lines into Nebraska and then South Dakota. The pressure in youâre bladder was building up minute after minute. So you pulled into a gas station in a town called Dimock and ran inside before youâre bladder exploded.
After you did youâre business and stepped out the restroom you decided to get a snack before leaving again. So you walked through the isle unable to decide if you want the hot Cheetos or some crackers so you just got both. You walked up to the counter and placed everything down. âIs that all for you?â The cashier asked. She seems nice. âYes, thank you.â You smiled at her as she scanned your items. âWould you like a bag?â You nodded at her while as you pulled out the credit card you found this morning. As she was bagging your items you noticed the âNow Hiringâ sign on the counter. You drove pretty far from where you stole the car maybe you can hang around here for a little bit and try to get a job and save some money.
âAre you guys still hiring?â You asked the cashier. You looked at her name tag to get her name.
âYes we are. Do you need an application?â She turned to grab the application from the countertop behind her after you nodded eagerly. âThank you so much Ms. Emily. Is it alright if I fill it out here?â
âYeah thatâs no problem. Hereâs a pen.â She pulled a pen out of a little cup and handed it to you while admiring your car outside. You didnât say anything about it to her though because itâs not really your car, you donât even know what kind of car it is, and you didnât care enough to check, so you shrugged it off and wrote your name on the application after thanking her for the pen.
You didnât know what to put down for your address but you remembered seeing a motel not too far away from here so you just wrote the name of the motel there. Youâre gonna live there for a bit, just until you accumulate enough money to get an apartment. Now you didnât have a phone number you donât even own a phone because you donât have money for one. You have an email but no way to check it. Youâre going to have to come back everyday to ask about an interview.
âAfter you finished putting in your personal information you called Emily back and handed her your application. She smiled at you and read your name on the application. âThank you, (Y/n).â She paused. âActually do you think youâll be available for an interview in the morning at 8AM. We desperately need the help.â That came as a surprise to. They usually take your application and forget about it. âYes, actually I can. Should I ask for you when I come?â
âNo need Iâll be here. I own this store and itâs getting difficult to run things smoothly by myself. Youâre the first person thatâs applied and Iâve had the sign up for a few weeks now.â
âIâll be here at 8. Thank you so much.â Gathered your things and walked out the store and started heading to the motel you spotted earlier.
âââââââââââ
You paid for one week to stay at the motel. After that youâd have to sleep in the car because after seeing the charge on whoeverâs credit card that is theyâll most likely cancel and report it.
Itâs been a minute since you had a nice warm shower so you took off your clothes and just soaked in the water. Motel soap isnât that great, but itâs all you have right now. So you lathered it over your skin. You even used the shampoo to wash your hair. You want to look your best for this interview.
After you got out the shower you wrapped yourself in the towel around yourself the turned and filled the bath with water and every soap you could find in the room. The motel didnât have washers and dryers so you had to do it the old fashioned way. You threw them in the water and let them soak for thirty minutes before stirring them around in the water for a bit and ringing the water out. There were no hangers so you slung them on the shower pole and let the water out of the bath tub.
You walked out still wrapped in the towel and jumped on the bed landing on your back. The sun was starting to going down so you set an alarm for 7am and laid on the bed. You were flipping through the channels on the tv looking for something good to watch and landed on a show called Doctor Sexy. Itâs a weird name for a show but itâs very interesting. You fell asleep in the middle of the episode and when you woke up to your alarm going off some weird tv ad was playing.
Turning it off you headed into the bathroom bringing the towel with you. At some point during the night it slipped off and somehow ended up on the floor.
Your clothes were still a little damp but it was unnoticeable so you shook them out and put them on. After you finished getting ready you hopped in the car heading to the corner store for youâre interview. You pray to whoever could hear you about this interview. Itâs only a cashier job but something is better than nothing, and you are grateful for this opportunity. You can finally start to get your life back on track.
ââââââ
âWell (Y/n) this concludes the interview. You seem like a very nice girl. If itâs alright with you Iâd like to move on with the hiring processâ
âWait really?â She nodded eagerly. âYeah of course. What do I have to do?â You asked her. This seemed too easy, but youâre not going to question it. Maybe she really is desperate to get some help around here. âWell I just need to get you a name tag and put you on payroll. Just confirm your name and birth date are correct and you can start on Monday.â You did as she said then stood up and shook her hand. âThank you so much Ms. Emily. Iâll see you on Monday.â
There was something off about all of this, but you disregarded it. You finally got a job. A job that you start working on Monday. Which was two days away. You are, honestly, excited. Who knew a job at a corner store would bring you such joy.
ââââââ
You got back to the motel at eleven, which is really early. You didnât know what to do with the rest of your day so you decided to waste it by watching tv. You took off your jeans and your sweater, leaving on your tank top and underwear and jumped on the bed. You havenât had a day like this in a while and you wanted to cherish it.
Unbeknownst to you, the car youâd stolen was for the two men you were trying to forget about. It is very precious to them so they were tracking it down during the two days you were resting on.
ââ-ââ
One week later...
Although youâd only worked for five days, you were hired on week of payday which means you get your first pay check today. You were kind of excited about it. You normally work the closing shift, but today Ms. Emily asked you to open because she has to run some errands.
You were supposed to get off at four so you were getting a little worried because Ms. Emily said sheâd be back at a quarter til three, but itâs 3:50 now and she still isnât back. As time went on you realize she isnât gonna get back today. I hope sheâs okay. Weird things have been going on in this town this past week. Some people even went missing so you were worried for her safety.
When seven rolled around you decided to call her. She probably got held up somewhere, but she didnât answer. You made the executive decision to close early, you had walked to work today to take in the scenery and you didnât want to leave work too late, the dark is a scary place. You went to her office to grab your check and used the ATM to cash it then pocketed your money.
As you walked out the store you made sure it was clean and turned off all the lights. You took the key out your pocket as you walked out the door then turned and locked it.
Youâre on high alert now since it was late out. You were walking back to the motel when you got this eerie feeling that you were being watched causing you to pick up your pace to get to the car faster. You turned in the room key this morning on your way to work since today was you check out day, however you talked with the manager about leaving your car parked there until you get off of work so you had nothing to worry about as long as you move it by the end of the day.
As the motel came into view your paranoia got the best of you and you started running to the car. Someone is watching you and you know it. Your heart started beating a little faster as you got in the car. You accidentally touched the hot wire and jumped as electricity surged through your arm. âFucking shit Mother fucker!â You screamed. Your entire arm felt numb, you were careful about the wires this whole week, this hysteria is throwing you off. So you took a moment to recoup and recover. Your entire arm feels sore and youâre still a bit disturbed, so you started the car and drove away from the motel.
âââââ
You parked in front an abandoned warehouse and killed the engine. You were gonna have to sleep here for the night and find a different spot tomorrow. Itâs dark out so you decided to call it a night and go to sleep. You have to open the store again in the morning.
You were very curious about what may be inside the warehouse though. You didnât want to go in, yet still you got out of the car and started walking to the door.
What am I doing? This is so stupid. Why am I walking to this building? What if thereâs dead bodies in there? Donât go you dumb bitch!
Against your better judgement you walked in anyway. To youâre surprise, though, it was completely empty. You walked towards the middle of the room and looked around curiously. Maybe you can sleep in here instead of the car. It might be more comfortable, and no one would walk inside the building. Well, no one except for you.
You walked next to a pallet and laid down on the ground. Positioning yourself so that if someone were to walk through the door they wouldnât see you. You closed your eyes and slipped into unconsciousness and before you knew you jerked awake and had to take a moment to catch your breath.
You werenât sure why you woke up so suddenly so you stayed awake and made your way to door. You stopped in your tracks when you were in front of the door. You heard voices so you cracked the door open to peek out and see who was there. It was still dark out but you could still see them.
You saw two very large men. One a bit shorter than the other. They looked familiar but you couldnât pinpoint where exactly you saw them before. You couldnât take your eyes off the taller one. It was something about his hair. They were examining your car and when the taller one walked around to the passenger side and you finally saw his face. Your breath caught in your throat as your face paled. The strange men from the motel. You didnât think youâd see them ever again in your life. Why are they here?
You slowly pulled your head back in from the crack in the door and slowly started to back away from it. Suddenly a hand was covering your mouth and something sharp was poking at your side.
âDonât scream or I will kill you.â
You couldnât see her face, but you knew exactly who she was.
âMs. Emily what are you doing?â You asked lowly the fear in your voice was evident.
âJust be quiet. Do everything I say and maybe Iâll let you liveâ She growled in your ear.
âPlease donât hurt me.â You said louder this time. Hoping the men outside heard you.
âShut up!â She yelled this time.
She dug the knife into your side. She didnât stab you bad enough for medical attention, still it was deep enough to leave a mark. You cried out in pain but she grabbed your mouth harder so that your groans were muffled by her hand.
Suddenly the door was kicked open and in came the two men with guns in their hands. They both looked at you for a moment before looking at your boss. âLet her go.â The taller one said. If you remember correctly his name is Sammy.
âI donât think so. You know when I saw her in your car I though she knew who you two were. I was hoping to use her to get to you Winchesters. But turns out she just stole your car.â
âWow, I feel used and abused.â She dug the knife a little deeper and you cried out in pain as you were starting to see black dots in your vision. Your legs gave out under you but she held you up like you weighed as heavy as a piece of paper.
âA gun wonât kill me. If you let me walk out that door you can have the girl.â What do these guys want with your boss? And why is your boss trying to kill you? âWitch killing bullets.â The shorter one stated.
Sammy was still aiming his gun at your boss. You were scared that he was going to shoot the both of you, and if he didnât shoot your boss she was going to stab you to death. You donât want to die, and you donât want to sit here and wait for something bad to happen. Thinking quickly you bent your arm to prepare yourself. You forcefully yanked your arm back hitting her as hard as you could in her gut and as suspected her grip loosened on you and you ran away from her as best you could before falling to the ground.
Thatâs when you heard the shots ringing throughout the building, and you watched your boss fall to the ground. Dead.
You were frozen in fear. You couldnât stop staring at the dead person in front of you. Everything went by so quickly. Sammy came to aid you while the other guy, Dean, went to your boss, or ex boss, or whatever.
âAre you okay?â He asked but you didnât answer. You couldnât answer. It was like someone took your voice away from you. You started to breath harder and harder which was making the dots in your vision worse youâre breathing was all you could hear until Sammy yelled at you âHey! Look at me. Hey!â
You averted your gaze away from where Ms. Emily was and looked Sammy in the eyes. âAre you okay?â He asked you once more. âIâm gonna pass out now.â Your voice was weak and the dots in your vision connected and you were engulfed in darkness.
Part 3
Breaking In
It was almost 1AM and sleep was getting harder and harder for you to avoid. You ran out of money weeks ago and sleeping on the street wasnât very safe for a woman. It not easy being homeless. Finding a job isnât as easy as it seems and you donât have anyone to turn to for help.
Youâve been breaking into motel rooms since you couldnât afford to pay for one, trying to get as much sleep in before any of the staff notices youâre not supposed to be there. You leave at dawn to stay undetected, and you havenât had any run ins with someone paying for a room. Until now.
You were walking down the road in bulky clothes, trying to look less feminine as possible, when you spotted another motel. Youâve done this so many times before youâre almost ashamed of it, but a girls gotta do what it takes to survive. You peeped in the window making sure there were no occupants, which thankfully there were none, and you nonchalantly started walking around the back as a black vintage car pulled into the lot. You donât know much about cars but you can hotwire one and in the morning when you sneak out of the room you plan on stealing that one.
Once you were out of eyesight you ran around to the back where the bathroom windows were located. You used the knife you had on you to squeeze between the crack of the window and flipped the lock. You realize Itâs becoming more and more easy for you to do this and you can feel the shame coming up again. Without wasting time you slid the window open and pulled yourself up. You were a little weak because you hadnât had a decent meal in god knows how long, so it was a struggle climbing inside having to sit in the window seal and swinging your feet inside. The toilet was below the window so you were able to step down gently, but you were still breathing hard from the physical exertion as you closed and locked the window.
Walking out the bathroom and to the room you noticed there were two beds and decided to sleep on the one closest to the door. In case of an emergency youâd be able to get out quicker. You got comfortable under the blankets and closed your eyes, however, as soon as you started drifting off into your dreamland you heard a key enter the lock. Shit. Thinking quickly you rolled onto the floor between the beds as discretely as possible and just as the door swung open you were able to squeeze yourself under the bed closest to the bathroom. Going undetected by your intruders... or maybe youâre the intruder? You were brought back to reality as the lights flickered on and you hear two sets of footsteps shuffle into the room.
âWhat the hell?â
You heard a gruff voice say. Realizing at that moment the messed up bed looks kind of suspicious. You silently cursed yourself as you watch boot clad feet walk closer to your hiding place. You felt your heart beating in your head when you heard the squeak of the bed as one of them sat down on top of you.
âMan these motels are getting worseâ The same man spoke again. âCouldnât even make the bed before we got here.â He sounded a little annoyed. If only he knew.
âItâs the only motel weâve seen for miles and neither of us would be able to keep driving like this.â The man sitting above you said as he took off his shoes. His voice was softer than the other guys, and still you can hear his exhaustion in his voice. Thatâs a good sign. Once the men fell asleep youâd be able to sneak out the front door, hopefully the nice car is still outside so you could make a quick getaway.
You could hear them changing as youâre trying to calm your breathing. Already planning on taking the car and sleeping in it for the rest of the night. You were too scared to go to sleep under the bed so you waiting and watched as they moved around the room. Damn their feet are huge. You were still a little worried that they suspect you being in the room with them because of the bed, but as one of the men laid above you and the other across from him, you felt relief wash over you.
It felt like it took them forever to fall asleep but soon you heard a faint snore from the men you slowly and silently slid from under the bed. Before you sat up you paused to confirm the heavy breathing and another snore, this time louder, from each of the them making sure theyâre both asleep, then continued youâre escape route. Slowly you made your way to the door every few steps looking back checking to be sure theyâre still asleep. You reached the door putting your right hand on the handle and the left on the lock, you once more peaked behind you seeing both the men asleep then turned back to the door. You turned the dead bold slowly so that it wouldnât make such a loud noise, yet despite your effort, the lock made a loud click that reverberated throughout the room.
Your heart sank in your chest as the light turned on. Your breath caught in your throat as you jumped and turned your right hand still on the door handle. You gasped when you saw both the men pointing guns at you. âWho are you!â The man closest to the bathroom yelled waking the other one. You couldnât speak, though. Your fear had you froze in place. When one of the men stood up you snapped out of it. Twisting the handle of the door you yanked it open but something stopped it from opening fully and you realized the chain was still latched, and you were trapped in a room with strange men being held at gunpoint.
The floppy haired man slowly walked toward you with his pistol still on you. âPlease donât hurt me.â You said while raising your hands in the air. âPlease just let me leave.â
âWho are youâ he said again his voice deeper this time trying to intimidate you. Which was working, youâre scared shitless. You started breathing harder as your fear started taking over. The man has a freaking pistol aimed at your head. As he approached you, you devised a plan. He just needed to get a little bit closer and..
You slapped the gun out of the way and quickly punched him in the nose. As he fell to the ground you made a break for the bathroom. You barely made it passed the table when you were grabbed by your waist and thrown on the bed. You had completely forgotten about the other guy. Now he was on top of you pushing your chest into the bed with a knife on your neck. âNo! Please donât do this!â Your voice cracked a bit as you yelled. You didnât know you were crying until you felt the wetness of the blanked under your face. âPlease!â You sobbed thrashing under him to try to get him off.
âWho are you. How did you get in here?â The man said. You were still sobbing while trying to answer his questions clearly. âIâm nobody. I was already here when you walked in. Please sir just let go of me. I promise I wonât tell anyone anything. Just let me go, please.â You were practically begging him at this point. A man holding you down on a bed with a knife to your throat. Thereâs no other way for this to end that isnât horribly, but you heard the other guy tell the man on top of you to let you go. âDean! She is a harmless woman. Sheâs not going to do anything strange.â
âSure Sammy she probably wants us to think that so we can let our guard down. Sheâs waiting for the perfect moment to attack us.â
These people are crazy. Of course I get stuck in a room with two crazy people. Iâm really going to die tonight. This thought alone made you cry even harder. And the pressure the man was putting on your chest was making it difficult to breath. You noticed your knee was between his legs realizing that one swift move will have him crumbling in pain. Without a second thought you abruptly kicked your knee up hitting him in his most sensitive area while using all your strength to push him away from your body
You flipped over and ran as quickly as you could to the bathroom and slammed the door behind you as you heard the man groaning in pain. âShit Dean are you okay?!â You heard the floppy haired man ask. âShe got my balls sammy. Ugh I canât breath.â The âDeanâ guy cried.
You made sure to lock the door before climbing on top of the toilet unlocking the window then sliding it open. You got your legs through the window when you heard someone trying to open the door. Which turned into banging. Quickly you jumped down onto the ground. Running as fast as you can when you heard the door bust open. Thankfully you made it around the corner of the building before anyone spotted you.
You stopped in remission, letting yourself breath before you made your way around to the parking lot, looking for that beautiful car. Soon as you spotted it you ran to the driver side. The car looks even better up close. You pulled the handle and to your surprise the door was unlocked. Quietly sliding in and shutting the door you looked under the steering wheel for the wires and began working twisting the red wires together. You grabbed the starter wire and touched the ends together. The engine stalled the first time but when you touched them together again it roared to life. You saw a door open aand as the floppy haired man walk out and you figured he probably heard you struggle with the car so you switched gears and pulled out of the parking lot as the man, Sammy you presume, started running after you, but of course he canât outrun a car and you watched as he slowed to a stop in your rear view mirror.
You drove for almost 3 hours stopping at a gas station to check out what was in the car. Finding strange newspapers old toys and a ton of old rock music. Your greates discovery, though, was the wallet under the passenger seat. You used the credit card inside to fill up the tank and get a few snack because you were starving. Soon as the pump stopped you were back on the road. You drove for another hour until a wave of fatigue hit you. It was still dark out so you pulled into an empty store parking lot pulling into the furthest spot from the store before killing the engine. You made sure all the doors were locked before climbing into the back seat for a quick nap. Now that you have this car you donât have to worry about sneaking into motels anymore. You may even be able to use the credit card you found to check into a room.
Part 2
me reading someone else's fanfiction: oh, a little typo! well it doesn't matter, i almost didn't even notice :)
me reading my own fics: is that a fucking typo? im literally the worst author out there. my writing is incomprehensible. absolute shame.
In my time of dying
Characters: win!sister x reader, Sam Winchester, Dean Winchester, John Winchester, azazel (mentioned)
This is based on the episode. Of course I changed up some things to fit the narrative.
Iâm pinned against the wall along with Sam and Dean. Azazel was crushing Deans insides until dad was able to take control and release us. Sam was able to move faster than me to get to the colt but that was when azazel took control once again. âYou kill me, you kill daddyâ yellow eyes growled.
âI knowâ said Sam as he aimed the colt at dads leg and pulled the trigger.
I crawled over to Dean as he fell to the floor and Sam went to dad as he screamed in pain begging Sam to shoot him in the heart and kill azazel. All the while Dean is begging Sam not to do it. I didnât know what to do. I was frozen in fear while Sam was looking conflicted. I didnât want my dad to die. He may have been pretty messed up growing up but I didnât want him to die.
Suddenly a puff of black smoke erupted from dads mouth as the demon left his body. Dean and dad are in pretty bad shape so Sam and I helped them to the car. âSam we need to get them to a hospital. Deans injuries are too severe!â I exclaim. Dean and I sat in the back seat and I was trying my best to clean the blood from his face. âI know, (y/n), Iâm going as fast as I can-â
Unexpectly, all I could see was black. My entire body hurt and my chest was burning. I was trying to inhale but my lungs werenât functioning. Then everything was quiet.
âââââââââââââ-
Coming to I realized I was laying in a hospital bed. Climbing out I started walking out the room and down the hall. I tried talking to some people but they ignored me so I raised my voice at them. âHello?! Canât you hear me speaking to you?? Hello!â I waved my hand in front of someoneâs face but they couldnât even see me.
Why is everyone ignoring me? I stopped trying to get their attention and just started roaming the hallways trying to find my brothers. As I got closer I heard a familiar voice. It was Sam. I ran following his voice while looking in each room until I found him leaning over Dean who was hooked onto a breathing machine. Dean was in rough shape and I heard Sam sniffle. Realizing how much pain Sam is in broke my heart so I walked next to him to try to bring him a little comfort.
âDean will pull through Sammy. Itâs okay.â I told him but he didnât hear me. âSammy?â I called to him trying to get his attention, but like those people from earlier he didnât see me. What is wrong with everyone?
âSheâs gone Dean.â He sobbed softly to Deans limp body. âWhoâs gone, Sam?â I was asking more to my self than Sam, however he still didnât hear me. âSam! Who are you talking about?â I ask almost yelling this time. My voice cracked as I was speaking feeling the fear of what may be, yet still he doesnât hear me. The despair in his eyes is tormenting me.
âSam my, please look at me. Iâm right here just look at me.â I and basically begged him at this point while he is grieving. âSAM!â getting a bit angry I acted on impulse and hit a cup of water to the ground which finally grabbed Samâs attention. âSorry sam. I didnât meant to-â
âDean?â He said. âWhat? No Sam itâs me your baby sister standing right in front of you, please look at me.â I pleaded as tears of frustration rolled down my face.
âExcuse me sir,â you turned to see a doctor standing in the doorway at the same time Sam did. âWe need you to come and identify the body and sign some paperwork for her to be released to your family.â
A body? Are they talking about my body? Could I possibly be dead? I need to follow them. I need to know if theyâre talking about me. Could I really be dead? I canât be Iâm right here.
Following closely behind Sam and the doctor you arrived to the morgue. While the doctor was looking for the correct locker Sam was signing some release forms. I didnât wanna believe what I mightâve already known. Hearing the doctor open one of the lockers, Samâs heart broke all over again seeing his baby sisterâs lifeless body on the table.
In that moment of seeing my own dead body everything came back. The demon, the car, the truck. I remember getting in the car but I donât remember ever getting out. I remember hearing tires screeching, then the agonizing pain my entire body was in and my lungs burning, and just before the darkness I hear the click of the colt.
Iâm dead

just some castiel sketchess
Comforting Embraces
Summary: sometimes the readers emotions overwhelm her and she doesnât want Sam and Dean to to think sheâs weak. So she turns to the one other person she knows to help.
Characters: castiel x reader, Dean Winchester, Sam Winchester, Anna (mentioned), Lucifer (mentioned)
Warnings: the reader is showing anxiety but itâs mostly just fluff
The first time you asked him he was stoic. He tilted his head in confusion because why would you want to hug him?
You, Dean, and Sam had just found out that angels existed and that they were fixated on Dean. You didnât understand why until he told the three of you that it was because Dean is Michaels true vessel. He wasnât too fond of Sam because unbeknownst to him heâs lucifers true vessel, heavens worst enemy.
You had prayed to him in youâre dingy motel room. Dean was at the bar trying his damndest to get laid whilst Sam was at the local library doing research. He wasnât going to come at first because you werenât the one he was told to protect, but for some reason he couldnât resist.
When he flew into the room he spotted you sitting on the bed with your eyes closed, and your hands together in prayer. He didnât mean to startle you, but when he announced himself you couldnât help the reaction. Knowing what goes bump in the night will do that to a person.
You faced him and let out a deep breath. âCastiel.â He looked at you in confusion waiting for you to continue. âCan I have a hug?â You brought yourself to say, you were rather nervous to ask, but you didnât want Sam or Dean to know you were so emotional. You didnât want them to think you were weak, but it was getting hard to hide your feelings of hopelessness, and all you wanted right now was a hug.
Castiel was speechless and just stared at you. During these tough times sometimes all a person needs is a little comfort and what better comfort than an angel of the lord. After a moment he recovered. He doesnât know why but he opened his arms, inviting her in and without hesitation she walked to him, wrapped her arms around his waist and rested her head on his shoulder.
He returned the hug by cradling her head and rubbing a soothing hand on her back. He doesnât know why you wanted the hug but for the most part he enjoyed it. Heâs never experienced something like this. It brought comfort to him by bringing comfort to her. At this moment the emotionless soldier didnât quite understand this, but he felt the need to protect her.
ââââââââââââââââââ-
The hug indeed made you feel better and itâs been a while since you last prayed for him. Yet for some reason after meeting the fallen angel Anna you started to feel the hopelessness again. Why do I feel so horrible? I just want to be happy. You thought to yourself. The Winchesters of course donât notice youâre change in personality. You donât blame them though. All this angel business is a lot to deal with. You think that may be whatâs triggering your anxiety. The sinking feeling in your chest was getting too hard to bare and you didnât want to break down in front of the brothers so when they went to sleep you made your move.
You had snuck away that night, to call upon the only being you know that may bring you peace, and found yourself on a nature trail. As you walked deeper you found a bench and sat on it. It was pretty late so there werenât any people around therefore you closed youâre eyes and prayed to Castiel, asking for him to come to you.
For this reason Castiel couldnât resist her call and flew to her. This time though she heard the flap of his wings upon his arrival and looked up to see him standing directly in front of her. âWhy have you called me, (y/n)?â He asked.
âCastiel...â you said as you stood up from the bench, on the brink of tears. âCan I have a hug?â
He, again, was speechless. Taken aback by a question sheâd asked before, he thought about the last time sheâd asked, and again found himself unable to say no to her. He wanted the protect her and if this strange act made her feel better then so be it.
Castiel, once again, opened his arms to invite her into the hug and she without hesitation walked into him wrapping her arms around his waste and laying her head on his shoulder, while he cradled her head with one hand and rubbed soothing circles into her back with the other.
They donât know how long the hug lasted but when they let go of each other (y/n) felt less anxious and Castielâs demeanor softened a bit. Castiel knew at this moment that you are his weakness, and that he must hide his this from his fellow angels for fear they might bring harm to you to terminate his fragility.
Two weeks pass and you started to get that sinking feeling again to a point where you couldnât process anything and you wanted to cry, but alas, for fear of appearing weak, you hid it from the brothers, then snuck away once more to call upon the angel of your salvation.
Again he couldnât resist your call and went to you unusually looking forward to what he thinks may happen next.
âCastiel..â you faintly say, âcan I have a hug?â
Anticipating your question he opens his arms without wavering and you walk into him. Wrapping your arms around his waist and laying your head on his shoulder, in like manner, castiel cradles youâre head with one hand and rubs your back soothingly with the other.
Castiel wonders why you call upon him for solace. Why donât you confide in Sam or Dean to console you. He isnât complaining though. He is growing fond of these comforting embraces. He simply just want to understand why you chose him.
As you relax in his arms he forgets what he is thinking and focuses on making you feel better.
A month goes by this time. When you begin to get that sinking feeling you are already away from Sam and Dean so you decide to call castiel before you start to feel worse. However he doesnât come. You could understand that his angelic duties must be more demanding so you wait to call him again. Still the feeling was getting worse but you believe you can hold it until he is able to come.
The next day you hadnât seen Sam or Dean. Maybe they got caught up in the case. You tried calling them but no answer. And your anxiety was only getting worse. So you prayed to castiel again, but he never came. You were getting worried. What if Sam and Dean couldnât beat Lucifer? What if Lucifer killed Dean? What if Lucifer killed castiel?
After that last question you broke down because now you had no one. No one to talk with, or joke around with. Not even someone to comfort you and keep you grounded.
When Sam and Dean left to fight Lucifer you stayed back because they didnât want you getting hurt. Though now you wish youâd gone with them because not knowing if theyâll return is the worst feeling in the world. Wondering if your best friends are dead is eating you alive. You needed castiel to console you, but no one was answering you and it hurts you.
While in the middle of youâre breakdown someone came to you in your motel room.
â(Y/n)?â
You heard your name then panicked so you grabbed the pistol you kept under the pillow for safety, turned around and aimed it at the intruder. The voice sounded familiar to you but you didnât want to risk it until you realized itâs the person youâve been calling for.
The being that brings you warmth in your most vulnerable moments. You dropped the gun and ran into him. Wrapping your arms around his waist and laying your head on his shoulder while he cradled your head in his hand and rubbed your back soothingly with the other.
He knew you needed him. He heard your prayers before Lucifer snapped him to pieces. He wasnât sure why or how he came back but he needed the hug as much as you did. He needed the relief you provide when you relax your body into his. He didnât know it before but now he does. He loves you and would do anything to bring you peace and security. Heâll protect you til his last dying breath.
