Anyone else with ADHD/autism have to have the Exact Right level of stimulation in order to focus on anything? If I try to listen to a podcast without doing anything else then there's Not Enough going on so my mind starts to wander and I can't focus on the podcast. If I try to listen to a podcast while scrolling tumblr then there's Too Much going on and I can't adequately focus on either one. In the past if I tried to listen to a podcast while doing laundry then that was Just Enough going on for me to be able to focus without getting distracted, but now I'm trying to do that after not having podcast/laundry time in a while and apparently that's Not Enough now so I'm getting distracted again and idk what else I could add that won't flip it over into Too Much territory
