“I’m nervous, I don’t know how to do it!” Cody pouted, watching how the other did it with ease.

“Oh god, okay, but don’t laugh at me.” Cody chuckled weakly, grabbing the basketball as he attempted his first dribble. He was sure there were worse people, but he sure wasn’t a natural talent as the ball kept getting away from him.

“A what now?” Cody asked, clearly flustered. “That where you bounce the ball whilst moving?”

“So not bullshit,” Finn scoffed. He tossed the ball up a few inches in the air, giving it a little spin before he caught it and passed it over to Dylan. 

“I– Yeah, of course.” Cody moved closer to the other, looking somewhat afraid of making a fool of himself. “So, what’s first?”

“Cuz it’s getting long and pretty. Like mine.”

“I didn’t really leave the house before here, plus I’m one of those computer geeks, not a sporty person.”

“I mean, I’ve never played before but how hard can it be, right?”

“It’s been a while since I’ve played, actually, but sure. I bet I could kick your ass, old man.” 

“Bullshit,” he snorted. “Check the ball, brat.”

“As long as it’s fair play, then you can count me in.”

“How wouldn’t it be fair?” he chuckled.
