how does dad Lux feel about king dice and the other debtors?

Which debtors does he hate the most?

And what would happen if lux catches chef saltbaker trying to use cuphead or mugman’s soul in the wondertart?

Only answering the 1st one:

His opinion on king dice is pretty much pity and “well you brought this on yourself.” If lucy likes him surely he can’t be too bad, but he also beat up his kids, so he can’t be too good either.

King dice doesn’t think lux is all that, but knows Lucy looks up to him a lot, so he tolerates him and his brats.

Yes lux gave the people the power of calix animi, no chalice does not know the boys father is the lux imperator because he goes by Mr.ring a ding. Yes if she found out she would treat the boys different. It’s crazy how your family being gods gets you treated different. Your uncle is the devil so people assume the worst in you, and your dad is a god so people think they’re below you. Leaves you kinda isolated

And I know this looks all majestic and shit but in reality it probably went down more like this:

Lux doesn’t actually like…NEED winter clothes because he’s the god of light and all, and therefore can’t exactly get cold- because light=heat, he’s more so trying to set a good example for his kids. They also have on like 50 layers because he doesn’t exactly know how fragile mortals are, and he’d rather be over prepared than underprepared and risk them freezing.

If you ever wonder why I draw cuphead more beat up and tired looking than mugman, it’s because I like cuphead more, which means I get to beat him up more. In my universe cuphead actually did the first isle and 2/3 of the second isle before he needed help, and while mugman got revived like 3 or 4 times, (much to cupheads dismay) every other time mugman was about to get hit, cuphead would do his best to take the hit for him, because he believed it was his fault they were in this situation entirely, so his logic was it was only fair he take the fall for most of the battles, and cuphead died around roughly 52-65 times I haven’t decided the exact number yet.

It’s the same reason he hates when people try to help him, he thinks because he’s literally gone to hell and back, he’s on the same maturity level as a adult, when he’s NOT! So he try’s to handle things like a “adult” would, like bottling up his feelings and not accepting help, like how he looks unhappy at lux trying to fix his scarf. He’s under the mentality of “I didn’t need your help then, so why the hell would I need your help now, for something so small” and I wanna go more into that later, I’m just not sure how I want to approach it.

While I was away I took an art class, and really improved my fundamentals, which you can definitely tell if you compare the old and new sketch! So I’m really happy about that!

I imagine as a god, it would be hard to love anything when the only thing you’ve ever had to love was yourself. But it’s not the fact he’s not trying, because he is, he really is. It’s just hard because he’s feeling emotions he’s never really felt before, like regret for not being there sooner, and empathy. I really love this series a lot, and I want to explore more depth of their characters, all of them; including Lucifer.

Anyway- young Lucy and lux, if I had to sum up their relationship in a image, it would probably be this. Lux is the cool older cousin, that may or may not be a really bad influence, and Lucy is the ever malleable younger cousin seeking praise and approval that lux just so happens to give when Lucy does something he’s not supposed to

Anywayyyy I WAS TRYING OUT NEW STUFF WITH GRADIENT MAPS LOWKEY and a big thanks to @l1me0p0ssum for making such a cool young lux design that I just HAD to use, ofc I changed a few things to fit what I imagine to be lux’s mandatory heavenly pantheon attire, I always see people depicting lux’s true form as a star, but I always image he’s very confident in his form and ego, and tbh he wouldn’t change very much because he likes the way he looks, stupid egomaniac-

HAPPY LATE FATHERS DAY!!!! PROTECTIVE PAPA LUX!! PROTECTIVE PAPA LUX! Yeah he’s like super protective of his kids lowkey, kinda to make up for the fact he missed practically a whole decade of their life cuz he lowkey feels so bad about it, but he can’t be too hard on his little cousin, OOP WHO SAID THAT?? But they actually are cousins in my au!!! They were both from heaven so it makes sense (not featured: cuphead and the devil crashing out over the fact they are related)

If ur also wondering why cuphead has all those cracks and is so much more beat up than mugman, it’s because I projected my chronic illness onto him, I imagine he felt so bad about betting their souls, he did the first isle and a half by himself, until he got completely shattered during beppis fight (roller coaster got him good, I’ll go more into that later) and mugman had to step in, and it was pretty hard to put him back together so he kinda has a lot of scars for it…
