We go forward.

It was there at my birth.

I am a child of sin.

A plague upon the earth.

My past is defiled, and my body as well,

Something such as me, must be a product of hell.

I come from anger, I come from pain,

I come from cruelty, desperation, and shame.

I am a flower grown from rot, and lies, and hate,

Surely I must, share a similar fate.

We are killing the world, we are killing each other,

I saw a monster, in the face of my mother.

We close our eyes, our ears to the screams,

We do not speak, we know better than dream,

We smile insincerely, hiding sharp teeth,

At those we bury alive, rotting beneath.

But I see the moon, and I see the stars,

the city lights and the shape of a car,

I want to love every stranger I see on the street.

There are so many people that I want to meet.

I love my sisters eyes, and my fathers hands.

I am a child of sin, do you understand?

I will not make it to heaven, that is a fact,

So lets make a heaven on earth, and keep it intact.

So lets go to the stars, let us build and create.

Let us dance and sing and raise a finger to fate.

If I am going to hell, for this blood on my hands,

First I will live, I will fight, and take a stand.

We have enough cruelty, we have enough hate.

So if we are turned away at those pearly gates,

Live a life that you will not regret, be kind, be loud.
