Had some time to turn a few pens. This one has to be one of my better ones. The picture does not do it any justice. I poured my own blank used red and black dye, copper, pearl and red mica and the pen is copper. A buddy of mine had some branches sitting around for a few years. They were mostly twisted and cracked so not a lot could be done with them. I used some for pen blanks which look great. I have been wanting to make a Carver’s mallet so this is my version.
