willa's hands on their shoulders is a bit reassuring, and winnie takes a deep breath. "okay..." they shake their hands out, looking around the room. "it's just flowers, right ? i know those... this should be a piece of cake..." was winnie horrible with public speaking ? ABSOLUTELY. however, the fact that it was about flowers wasn't too bad. "maybe the example bouquets will speak for themselves... i just have to speak in steps... right ? that should be easy enough..."
Nobody knew flowers like Winnie did, Willa knew that, and so did everybody in this room. Truthfully, they could have said just about anything, and it would be taken as bible — they were the expert. Nodding along, capturing the tumble of words and neurosis with a smile, she gently rubbed at their arms, "Winnie, you need to breathe — come on, think of it like... talking to me about flowers, just look at me if you need to, and imagine you're teaching me how to put together this bouquet, but like — to a room of eager and willing people."
