August is a wolf beast man! She's lived alone most of her life due to being the runt of her siblings and doesn't actually really totally understand how school works!!

She did accidentally somehow miss the opening ceremony and she's friends with the ramshackle prefect!

she basically lives at ramshackle because she refuses to get a real dorm assignment

Her other friends are mainly the first years but shes closest with Epel and they both thrive to be stronger together!!

She's scared of Vil and Rook

She isn't romantically interested in anyone but she does develop a sibling type relationship Vil!

pups are so easy to coax. not that a . . . two year difference was really anything, but in night raven the difference in power scaling makes it feel much larger. anyway!

“ call me Anwir! ” he offers a small, toothless smile. they were less intimidating. haha! Anwir remembers little red offering a big smile when they first met. maybe little red would like another freshman friend.

. . . ahah. fat chance. “ it's nice to meet you, too~ ”

“ now! ” looking around before squatting down, his own tail flicking as his ears pin back a little in a calculated attempt to appear smaller so he does not somehow accidentally intimidate the younger wolf. “ it's lunch break, have you snagged a meal before comin' here? food helps nerves! ”

She really wanted to believe he was just being nice to be nice but... this was NRC... but also.. maybe it'll be fine if shes careful besides not many people would've stopped to talk to her and it feel good that he's being so nice... it's fine it'll be fine maybe he's just nice...

he tilts his head, appearing harmless and relatively kind. the pink accessories help that kind of appearance. “ in my way? you're very out of the way, in fact~ ” Anwir says to her very matter-of-factly. “ i saw you curled up here and got a bit worried, ahah. that's all, really! ”

a wild wolf encounter. Anwir opens his mouth to speak, looking at the expression on august’s face— then decides not to. instead, he maintains a normal expression and stares at her instead. mainly the lack of a dorm vest.

“ hi~ ” he hums, “ you lost, little underclassman? ” he asks, even if he heard her little mumblings probably. it was best to let underclassmen explain themselves rather than assume their problems. “ it’s odd to see someone so distraught at this hour. what’s wrong? ”

not that the older wolf cared all too much. august was an adorable little thing and a prime source of distraction from the hell that was the first half of trein’s class. at least it’s lunch now!
