June 4, 2020: MESSAGE TO TAYLOR- It hurts me to much to say this but we are beyond disappointed with your lack of involvement towards the black lives matter movement. Where is the energy you had during miss americana? Or last June when you got thousands to sign the equality act? Posting a black square with 13 hearts is simply not enough. You have a gigantic platform. There is more to be done. Innocent people are being murdered in the streets. You can’t just sit back and watch.

In my opinion, I think saying sorry is polite, however, it’s true that many times I said sorry when it was not needed :/

It definitely is polite and even needed if you did something wrong, but the point here is that women are often taught to apologize when they didn’t do anything at all. For example in Miss Americana in this scene Taylor was talking about how she was still learning how to respect people and she was just explaining her point in an absolutely respectful way and then she automatically apologized for it. We are constantly expected to say sorry for expressing our feelings, being honest, staying true to ourselves or just explaining our point of view. That’s sad and we should know we don’t have to do that.

what fucking infuriates me and makes me want to cry tears of pure rage is the fact that taylor said “is it mean?” and kanye said “no” and then proceeded to literally ruin her reputation and in some ppl’s eyes, her credibility, for the better part of nearly 3 years. yeah that’s fucking mean

Taylor was saying the truth from the very beginning. She suffered so much so I hope she won’t be hurt anymore, and everyone can know that she was never a bad person.
