i’ve said it before but i wish vaginas didn’t cost money

you literally can not have a vagina without paying for it. vaginoplasty for some, period products for others, if you want to stop buying period products that’s gonna be expensive medicine or an expensive procedure, recovery from surgery requires time off work and vaginoplasty specifically requires money spent on dilators. our bodies shouldnt cost us this much on baseline. having a vagina shouldnt have such a hefty tax on it. it makes me feel like i’m in a fictional dystopia written for middle school classrooms when i think about it.

Disability will have you thinking shit like “I’m not even that disabled. I can manage as long as I limit myself to very specific careers, never go shopping for more than an hour or two at a time, keep my plans open so I can cancel and stay in if need be, and only go out a few nights per week at the most”

Took me a while to read this list because it sounds a lot like schizospec but who cares, it’s all happening in one brain anyway, it sure can just overlap and melt into each other.

hi. these things also applying to schizospec does not change the fact that they apply to OCD. i have OCD. these are all things i experience from my OCD. there is a lack of honest conversation around some of the more "taboo" or underrecognized symptoms of this horrible illness. i made this post to share my own experience. i am sorry if i am overreacting i am not trying to be rude but i really wish i could talk about OCD without it having to be about anything else. OCD can look like this and i think its important to discuss it. thank you

I've forgotten *my own birthday* before. There are several years of my life just straight up missing. In the past I've forgotten silly little frivolous things like NAMES OF LOVED ONES or WHERE MY HOUSE IS. But obviously none of that was important. Fucking awful, ableist thing to say.
