Recolored most items in the new Sleek Bathroom Kit by Syboulette in Noodles Sorbet Remix as I needed more colours! :) All fixtures are in the gold brass colour and the hamper is in the one wicker colour so they'll match the shower and olive tree from the game. The Sims 4 finally has some good hair for Indigenous People of North America... along with some clothing and items in the new TS4 Horse Ranch EP! I am so going to move my Indigenous clan households into one of the new neighbourhoods in Horse Ranch EP... and make it into a reservation - 'Land Back'! lol :D My generational family here is the Thunder clan. The four main children, adults now, and their families are each color themed to the Medicine Wheel. The older children currently live in San Myshuno together and are all attending university. Looking forward to moving my Sims and continuing the clan's stories in the new world.

Canada's inaugural National Day for Truth and Reconciliation & Orange Shirt Day - September 30.

The day honours the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools is a vital component of the reconciliation process. The creation of this federal statutory holiday was through legislative amendments made by Parliament.

Orange Shirt Day is an Indigenous-led grassroots commemorative day that honours the children who survived residential schools and remembers those who did not. This day relates to the experience of Phyllis Webstad, a Northern Secwepemc (Shuswap) from the Stswecem'c Xgat'tem First Nation, on her first day of school, where she arrived dressed in a new orange shirt, which was taken from her. It is now a symbol of the stripping away of culture, freedom and self-esteem experienced by Indigenous children over generations.

On September 30, everyone is encouraged to wear orange to raise awareness of the very tragic legacy of residential schools, and to honour the thousands of Survivors.
