Wasn't expecting to crank out the #DeathWatcth mini of the month in one #miniPainting sitting but there we go! (Might take better photos tomorrow)

The most interesting part was doing the under-shading quickly with a makeup sponge - I'm in love with the approach. The worst was the damn Xpress Hospital black - need to see if I can work out why it and Violet Gloom are so eager to grist up!

It's the mini of the month - I intend to do a full Underworld warband but I don't have those models yet 🙂

There are enough details on this that I dislike that I don't expect I will do this like this again. I really need to practice my dry brushing, and, learn to double check whether or not paints will reactivate. 😤

Tree Revenant Scion

Painted the base rim at lunch, then picked out the top of the Vine with fuchsia making the whole thing just come together as far as I'm concerned. That's a good one done.

This guy, and his friends, are an attempt by me to speed TF up with these models. I think ... it's worked ... maybe. I'm loving the results anyway, and, I'm now fighting the urge to go out and purchase the Spearhead set when they're done

I have the Branchwych as well ... but ... the cost of the Tree Bros and the Tree Load on their own match the cost of the Spearhead set - boymath says buy the whole thing
