As someone who is interested in the idea of voice acting, or just developing voice acting skills, I wanted to ask how you started and what you do to learn! (And if you'd be willing to help ^^)

Ello!!

I started voice acting 2-ish years ago by just recording my voice randomly and then putting it all into one big video compilation lol. I got feedback on my work, improved, got monetized on YouTube and bought a proper mic! I'm still improving to this day, whether that be with set up or acting.

Getting started with voice acting isn't something to do right or wrong, just to get yourself out there with comic dubs, voice overs, auditions, and small projects! Reach out to people and search for casting calls!

To get better at voice acting is to record your voice and pay attention to what professionals do! Watch animated movies or literally any anime dub and pay attention to how their voice moves. Follow voice actors, dubbing artists, and more to see how you can improve. Take theater classes, choir or singing classes, and get used to your voice! See what you can do and have fun! :D

fun faaact ahaha: i lowkey found the entire episode on tiktok (the leaked version) AFTER I saw it in theaters, and dubbed that lamp scene over because THE SADNESS I NEEDED TO GET OUT OF MY SYSTEM WAS OVERWHELMING.
