Is it cold at the edge of the universe?

I had randomly generated 2 words, which is where “mole interest” came from. I failed to consider that by generating a new tag, it wouldn’t have had enough posts already in it to prove what I now call “the mole interest effect”.

But now it does.

In 2023, we said “fuck it” a la mythbusters and ended up doing whatever it took to get #mole interest to trend. And it did. And it happened to be September 11th that day, and we managed to get #mole interest to trend ABOVE #9/11.

Please don’t ignore this, it’s a matter of life or death.

We are a family of ten trying to survive in northern Gaza amidst bombs and famine. Today we managed to buy flour, only 2 kilos for about $80. Such a huge dent in our budget for something that won’t even fill our stomachs. We’re hungry, I swear we’re so hungry. My four-year-old sister has taken to screaming out the window about all the foods she wants but can’t have. Then, at night, she cries because her stomach hurts. Her spine is showing through her skin and I’m powerless.

On the other hand, our landlord is trying to price us out of our “appartment”, which is really one room in ruins with no electricity, no running water, no windows, no door. We’ve tried looking for another place to rent but everything is too expensive. Without a roof over our head, we’ll be even more exposed and we won’t survive for long.

I feel like people have lost interest in our situation. All day and night I worry about how to bring back enough donations that we can keep paying rent and have at least one meal a day, but I don’t know what to do anymore. I don’t know what will grab people’s attention. I feel like I’ve already said everything about our situation.

Please help, I swear I’ll be thankful for anything. If you can’t afford to donate, then please at least share and I won’t ask more of you. Please.
